Hengfeng Hotel is a relatively old hotel in Dashi. It is located in a lively commercial area of Panyu, and the surrounding area is also a popular place, so the location is pretty good.
Downstairs is their own old restaurant, so there are still a lot of people coming to eat. In the evening, there are basically guest rooms on the third and fourth floors, which can accommodate more rooms.
Some rooms on one side have windows facing the outside, and some have inner windows. The inner windows will look a bit depressing because the lighting is not particularly sufficient.
The service quality at the front desk should be improved. If you leave your ID card here, you won't find the notice until you check out the next day, so you have to run back to get your ID card back.
The elevator is also relatively old, and the speed is pretty good. The sightseeing ladder can see the river, and there is rest space on both sides, so I am quite willing to spend space on public facilities here.

Everything good, the staff was very nice and helpful even if no one could spoke a single word in english. However the hotel is very far from the city centre and very far from the metro station (a bus running only until 11pm connects the hotel to the metro station).
So I would recommend to tourist to choose a different area

The room is very spacious. A family of three with suitcases lived in a large apartment very comfortably for a few days. The bed and mattress are really comfortable, more comfortable than most hotels I have stayed in, with moderate hardness and softness. Although the room we booked faces the road, the windows are very soundproof and very quiet, and we slept all night until dawn. The facilities are complete, with everything you can use. Opposite the hotel is a super large village with a popular food street called Xiajiao Food Street. There are so many food, basically all kinds of food and snacks from all over the country. It only takes a few minutes to walk from the hotel, so you must try it when you get there. You will definitely be full. It's so nice to have a meal after visiting Chimelong.

There was a foul smell in the bathroom that couldn't be flushed away, so I had to use a piece of wet paper to seal the hole in the wash basin to cover up the smell. Unexpectedly, when it was time to go to bed, the curtains in the room didn't have blackout cloth, so the room was still bright even when the lights were off, and coupled with the noise outside, I couldn't sleep at all.

The hotel has been built for a long time, the lights in the room are not too bright, it is not convenient to get up early to make up; there are not many types of breakfast, but you can eat enough; there is a car to pick up the zoo and the subway station is super affordable! Reception staff are nice and polite. Check in was quick.. Room is clean and nice. To reach the hotel, use Exit C where there is an escalator. Exit A also can reach, but no escalator. It would be tedious if you have luggage. There are plenty of eateries around the hotel. The Metro is just opposite the hotel. Would like to thank the lady reception staff on the morning shift (26/3) for helping us to book a taxi. She is also so kind to help us with the luggage. Greatly appreciated.

The room is small but enough and well planned. Very modern look and nice TV. The only thing i didnt like was the toilet sink being outside of the toilet and right at the door. Also for westerner the choices for breakfast was very limited, its mainly noodles and porridge, wish there were more choices such as sausages bacons hashbrown etc. but overall good hotel and will definitely come back.

The service from entry with Alice was welcoming and great waiting hall, with special drinks and treats which is refreshing after hot days.
The hotel is easy to locate through Wechat when you need to book for pick up services and also the hall is great where you can have your food delivered too.
Hotel has a self laundry area on the 10/F perfect cause we had a family and two little toddlers, so many clothes, this was super useful.
Breakfast had their options and the service of the staff there again super efficient and helpful.
We would stay there is you had things to do at Chimelong, efficient within 20 mins ride. Everything else to the city took 45 mins to an hour.
We would recommend this hotel cause there is a huge shopping mall with multiple food options within 30 mins walk.

OOsamaFarThe hotel is quite good, rooms are clean and adequate . It is close to the airport and the near subway station(1.5Km) can be used to travel to the city. The breakfast is also good only thing i would like to add is they should have a halal corner at the breakfast. I have stayed at holiday inn and they have a separate halal corner for breakfast of Muslims.
The airport shuttle did not arrived for pickup from the airport even though i called them before boarding the flight from my country.
Overall experience was quite good.

GGuest UserSimply phenomenal! An observatory and a 5 star suite rolled into one, not a detail was off. The website doesn’t do the rooms justice, they’re good sized and very tastefully decorated (the flowers in the office and the apples by the window were a nice touch). Views are surreal (this is the world’s highest hotel after all), you sit in your king bed or detached bathtub looking down on skyscrapers, higher off the ground than most observation decks. Service was also top notch, got my request for a room on a high floor (104th story, about eye level with the Canton Tower deck) and the ground floor staff were gracious enough to help me send a postcard. Hotel is a few minutes walk from Zhujiang station, and can be reached within 2-3hrs from HK West Kowloon, depending on immigration and train services. Overall a great stay, will return again!

GGuest UserCleanliness was fine but not spectacular. WiFi could only be accessed with a Chinese phone number, which I didn't have. Thankfully the receptionist helped me connect once (but you need the number every time you connect...).
My room was absolutely tiny with no window to the outside and no natural light. Consequently the.little bathroom area was very damp and rapidly smelly. According to the plan, about half the rooms don't have real windows. Those that do are tinted heavily.
Fine for a one night stay but not for longer.

GGuest UserThis is the second time I have visited this Hotel.As always the facilities are excellent,especially the Gym,Jacuzzi,Sauna and indoor hot pool available for both genders.The personell are very hospitable.If I may give some constructive criticism, the lunch self help at the California Restaurant was a bit dissapointing.They should have more variety of meat,and fish.Last time there was Sushi available for dinner, however this time for lunch no Sushi.And lamb or pork or mutton as an extra meat dish.They should also have a dry white wine on the Wine List at a reasonable price.They can contact Me at ************************************* , and I will supply.

CChengxiqu88clean and nice remodeling. But this is not a 5 star, rather 3 to 4 star. Actually it’s a weird hotel. They completely lack the windows. The hallways are zigzagging and has a huge risk if fire breaks. I don’t know how the city government allows this kind of hotel. They turned off the heater and keep saying they turned it on. Latter they provided a space heater. I would not recommend this hotel.
