The hotel was quite new and very clean and beautiful. The only disappointment was the lack of a full-length mirror. There was only one mirror at the washbasin, which was inconvenient. The food was extremely delicious with a wide variety, and I believe you won't get tired of eating it no matter how many times you have it. The staff also provided courteous and friendly service, making our stay enjoyable. Overall, it's a wonderful hotel that I highly recommend.

It was great time to stay at Shangrila in Guilin. All workers are very nice and kind. One of the worker even helped my son blow his nose! The hotel is just beside the river so it’s nice to take a walk. By using share bike, it takes 15 min to get the city side. I think it’s convenient enough and ridding share bike during trip is also good experience. Our highlight is the last night with Peach & Aries at the bar in Shangrila. Their music was awesome and they also let my wife sing with them. Playing some Japanese songs means a lot to me.

Our room had a magnificent view of the Li River. The sightseeing spots in Guilin City were all in walkable distance of the hotel. The breakfast had a good amount of variety and you can even get the typical Guilin Rice Noodles if you want. The service was over the top (everyone was super friendly and attentive). If you have any questions the staff replies to your messages within minutes. We were asked if the breakfast is alright or if they should prepare a more western one for us. They probably also saw our bin filled with empty water bottles and provided us 1.5L bottles for free 😂 Will most certainly recommend this hotel to my friends and family and would also come myself again!

A particularly surprising experience. It was raining lightly on the day of check-in, and the handsome staff member Xiao Xie came out to pick us up in advance despite the rain. He helped carry my luggage along the way. When I checked in, he saw that I was traveling with an elderly person and he thoughtfully helped me upgrade my room for free. The hotel is located in the scenic area and the scenery is great. Although it is slightly inconvenient to get in and out, the experience is very special. Nostalgic stay at this hotel, by the lake, with a separate bridge leading directly to it, and a relatively large parking lot, but it feels a bit too old, the decoration style of 20 years ago should have been fine 20 years ago, but now it is very unsuitable for the current trend. The bed is very hard and uncomfortable to sleep on, guarding such a good environment and location, such quality is really sorry for the beautiful scenery of the hotel location. This location is very quiet, because surrounded by new buildings, it takes about ten minutes to walk to the riverside. The scenery along the river is good and comfortable, except for the inconvenience of eating. The room was clean and I booked a duplex room. It happened to be a family of six, but it was still painful without an elevator. I had to move large boxes to the fourth floor. It is recommended that you do not bring too much luggage if you want to live, unless you are on the second floor. The landlord was very enthusiastic and helped us move some of our luggage, because we took the two children and couldn’t get it, and the parents’ legs were not very good. Thank you very much to the landlord.

I`ve been many times in Guilin and stayed in many hotels around, every time I travel there , staying in different hotel. It took me a while to book this one but after reading all reviews, I decided to stay here and definitely it was a good decision. Win-win for price-service. Hotel is close to PSB/ Place to do medical check/ all great restaurants are around and there is a spa that is open until 4am (3rd floor). Both guys that are working at reception are nice and helpful, check-in wwas done really fast. Room was one of the cleanest I had in hotels around Guilin and got the room on 5th floor. I could not hear any sound (as some people mentioned before) coming from KTV that is located on 2nd floor. Its quiet and definitely a great choice for short stay. What It could be a bit more clean is the carpet in the room but that is just my opinion, and WIFI could be a bit faster. Its really easy to find Hotel and its around 8 mins DIDI/Taxi to city center/ Elephant Trunk Hill or local bar street (11, Commune..). If you are coming by train to the West or North Guilin Station , takes maybe 20 mins by car which isn`t too far. There are 3 supermarkets downstairs that are open 24/7 and Hospital( just in case) that is 3 mins away. Worth to mention is that a guy that works at reception speaks good English so in case your Chinese is not that good, there will be no problem. Overall I would say strong 4.5/5 ! Would recommend , I don`t think you could find a better place for this amount of money. Cheers
