The service attitude of the girl at the front desk was very good. One of us had a problem with mobility and she helped us upgrade. It was very good. It is very close to the subway entrance and convenient. However, the breakfast was a bit basic and did not match the room price!

If you want to stay in a hotel with a story and characteristics while traveling, you must not miss Hangzhou Xixi Huajiantang. The hotel environment is very good, the room is clean, all supplies are free to use, there are steam eye masks and drip coffee, and the drinks in the small refrigerator are also rich and generous, well received.
The reception service at the hotel front desk is friendly but not overly enthusiastic, just right. Especially the housekeeper Vivian’s service is very considerate

A great homestay! The location is excellent, it's only a five-minute walk from the bus stop, and it's very close to Jiuxi. The boss and his wife were very polite. They called me in advance to ask about the check-in time before I arrived, and turned on the air conditioner in advance. The room is very clean and tidy, and the color scheme is simple but not plain, which is the tone I like! The round skylight above the bed is a finishing touch. You can look up at the bright moon at night and see the shade of the trees during the day, and it also increases the light in the room. The dog Tangyuan and the small swimming pool at the entrance are the favorites of children! Due to the tight schedule, I only stayed for one day. My daughter was reluctant to leave Tangyuan and played with him for a long time before leaving! I made an agreement with her that I would come back for a few days next time if I had the chance!

GGuest UserI looked at many hotels before going to Hangzhou and hesitated for a long time. I chose this one after seeing the good reviews. It is very convenient to get to the hotel from Hangzhou East Station. You can see the hotel sign as soon as you get out of the subway. The hotel is newly renovated. The lobby is very grand and there is free coffee. When checking in, the front desk will ask about the room preferences and location. The lady also gave the children toys and popcorn 👍. The room is very clean and quiet. There is a smart toilet TV projection screen. There are free cola and soda in the room refrigerator! The hotel transportation is really convenient. There is a subway station at the door. It takes two stops to get to West Lake. There is also a Silk City next to it. The buffet breakfast is very rich, and the chicken soup wontons are the characteristics. The ingredients are very fresh! The most considerate thing is that Xiao Dai gave a small bag of tissues when checking out, which is useful and super convenient to carry!

In order not to add to the crowd of West Lake, I did not go to the core scenic area. In the early morning, I visited the small scenic spots such as Jingui Qiuman next to the hotel. There were few people and beautiful scenery. I met local uncles and aunts walking by the lake, which was very pleasant.
I stayed in Shusheng Hotel for one night. I originally wanted the hotel to be in the scenic area, so I could avoid the peak hours. As a result, the traffic control in the scenic area made it difficult to get a taxi in and out, which was very troublesome [covering my face], but the hotel experience was not bad. The restaurant facing the tea garden, the Qincha experience class, and the special tea table in the room all reflected the profound tea culture of Longjing Township. The local Jiuquhongmei tea presented by the guest tasted very good, and the snacks were also delicious.
I took a panoramic view of West Lake from the North Peak and punched in to visit it!

GGuest UserIt is really a hotel that is difficult to review. It has an excellent location, exquisite garden design, and antique architecture. When you step into the hotel located in the core area from the noisy Xixi Scenic Area, you will be amazed by the beautiful scenery and quiet environment in a second. The service is also warm and thoughtful. Every employee is very kind and responsive, especially the hotel's housekeeper, who is the most considerate and humane housekeeper I have ever seen in China. However, the hotel's hardware flaws cannot be concealed. For example, the sliding door of the bathroom is very heavy, and once closed, it cannot be opened from the inside; the cover of the hair dryer socket above the washbasin is about to fall off, which poses a safety hazard; the automatic cover of the Washlet only opens halfway and then closes again each time, and it can only be opened manually. If too much paper is thrown, it is easy to get blocked; the most unbearable thing is that the shower water pressure is very low. With such a low water pressure, you can't use a rainforest shower at all. You can only use a handheld shower head, but the angle of the handheld shower head cannot be adjusted. In short, if you want to take photos, I recommend staying at this hotel. The photos taken are really beautiful and very Jiangnan-style. It may be the most artistic hotel in Xixi. It is different from the modern Mushou Xixi and the luxurious Banyan Tree. If you have high requirements for hardware, especially bathing comfort, you should avoid it.

AAnonymous UserBreakfast was lousy, nothing much to eat. Room is small and the wall is dusty despite it being just cleaned before we checked in. Need to wait very long for hot water at the basin tap in the morning. Bathing area water pressure is not strong enough. Staff at concierge makes us pay more for adjacent rooms and did not offer free upgrade unlike other hotels. Only good point about the hotel is we can request for free items such as mosquito repellent and eye masks, and they are delivered by the robot. If the items are not available, there is no follow up from the staff. There is smart toilet bowl. Location is near railway station but not near train station.

LLee Huan Chiao-Cleanliness was perfect! My room and other rooms I saw were perfectly clean. The corridors, common area, showers, toilets and powder room were perfectly clean.
-Front desk was welcoming and served lemon water upon check in.
-Facilities were nice. There are powder rooms at every corner so guests don’t have to walk all the way to the three toilets and three showers which felt like a maze. Laundry, dryer and garment steamer are available but they might need a china number to access unless you can pay the staff to pay it for you and there’s a laundry drying area at the verandah. There is a fridge and two microwave at the common area. I love their lemon water dispenser at the lobby.
-Amenities wise, towels, slippers, toothpaste and toothbrush have to be purchased from the vending machines in their showers, but shampoo, conditioner and bodywash are free. Several cold and hot water dispensers are around and paper cups can be found in the shower, kitchen and powder rooms.
-Location wise, there’s many food eateries throughout the whole building (one very affordable eatery opens 24/7) and many more at the streets around the building. There are two MRTs was about 10mins walk away.
-Only drawback was that the air conditioner in my room was not cold at all, even after the staff adjusted the temperature from their system. I asked two other guests and they said the same. Opening the door like some other guests made my room less stuffy but my corridor was at the end corner so it was not as cold as the central corridors. The common room was also not cold at all but not hot either. Overall, it was okay and bearable, not stuffy, just not cold. Showering cold helps a lot too. I still slept comfortably at night without blankets and the room was slightly cold during mornings. Price wise, can’t complain since my priority is cleanliness, privacy and price only. But one person said their room was too cold, and another one said their room became cold after the staff adjusted the temperature, so maybe it depends what room you get/negotiate.
-Photos of the window room have mirrors but mine didn’t have it, sadly.
-Price wise, totally worth it. Can’t meet service this perfect at such low price elsewhere. Would definitely come back!

The food quality was excellent, and the service during breakfast was attentive, with staff regularly refilling coffee and tea without being asked.
In addition to the breakfast buffet, the hotel offers several dining options throughout the day. I dined at their Chinese restaurant one evening, which specializes in Hangzhou cuisine. The dishes were authentic and flavorful—definitely a highlight of my trip. I recommend trying the local specialty, Dongpo Pork, which was cooked to perfection. Room service was also available 24/7, and I tried it once when I returned late from sightseeing. The food was delivered promptly, and the quality was on par with the restaurant meals.

If not, it is really inconvenient. If possible, please ask the hotel to consider the actual needs of the residents and solve it! I hope to come to the check-in machine later and have a self-service washing machine and dryer! ! ! In addition, it is recommended to replace the hotel slippers with plastic slippers with holes in the bottom. The slippers provided in the hotel are Jinjiang's products for many years! As thin as paper! Jinjiang has always said that after so many generations of product upgrades, what is their use? The basic problems are not solved! ! ! It’s useless to upgrade for another 100 generations! ! !
