Mountain view Hotels in Hangzhou

My stay at WPLUS in Hangzhou was the final stop on my trip, a perfect journey for rest and rejuvenation. I was worried about traffic restrictions when driving into Hangzhou, but the staff member registered my license plate, so I had no issues entering the West Lake scenic area. The uphill road was indeed narrow and steep, and the parking lot could only accommodate a few cars. The room was a bit on the smaller side, but the excellent service more than made up for these minor drawbacks. The welcome fruit was substantial, and the afternoon tea was both exquisite and delicious. For the evening, I enjoyed a passion fruit tea nightcap, and drifted off to sleep with the scent of osmanthus. Breakfast was a semi-buffet with an à la carte option. After breakfast, I returned to my room, brewed a cup of black tea with water from Hupao Spring, and savored the aroma while gazing at the tea mountains. Watching butterflies flutter among the flowers outside my window, time seemed to stand still. Upon check-out, I was even given a parting gift. WPLUS is definitely my top choice for a vacation in Hangzhou.

This hotel has great style. However, the shampoo is very watery; even with five or six pumps, it's not enough. This doesn't really match the hotel's standards, so perhaps they could switch to a better shampoo. The ceilings are quite high, and the blackout curtains work well, so I slept soundly. The carpet was a bit dirty and could use regular cleaning. The front desk manager was very warm and friendly. There's a large mountain behind the hotel, perfect for a hike. Breakfast was plentiful.

Had a wonderful three-day, two-night stay at the Fuchun Resort, a place I've long admired. The architecture, rich in Chinese aesthetics, blends seamlessly with the natural environment of Fuyang, creating a truly harmonious feel. Hiking here was wonderfully wild and scenic. The resort's thoughtful service was evident in every detail: from the welcome greeting and the consistently helpful and responsive personal butler (Benson) before arrival, to the doorman's proactive and natural assistance with luggage, and the waitress's meticulous inquiry about dietary preferences at breakfast. All these touches reflect the hotel's high standards of service and made me feel truly respected. I even left my hat in the calligraphy class and only realized it when the instructor notified me and said it would be promptly returned to the lobby. The shuttle drivers were also very punctual, almost always available on call. The housekeeping staff were diligent and friendly. The hotel also offers a wide range of activities, and the travel photography service was particularly high quality. Fuchun Resort truly lives up to its reputation as a high-end resort. I'd love to visit again!

The hotel boasts an excellent location, being very close to the subway station, shopping districts, and West Lake. This makes it incredibly convenient for sightseeing, shopping, and dining. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, and all staff members are exceptionally friendly and helpful, always greeting guests and answering any questions. Even the cleaning staff greet you with a smile. Every evening, we received a complimentary sweet soup, and the breakfast spread was also quite abundant.

InterContinental Qiandao Lake, exclusively occupying the Xian Shan Peninsula, is a scenic destination in itself, perfect for a slow-paced getaway. The hotel offers a rich variety of dining options. The breakfast buffet on the first floor boasts a wide selection, and we enjoyed several excellent meals at the Chinese restaurant. The late-night diner on the fifth floor, opening at 9 PM, became a regular treat for the kids after swimming, serving various instant noodles with fresh eggs and vegetables. There's also a Japanese restaurant outside the lobby, perfect for a relaxed meal after a scenic walk or bike ride around the lake. You can rent bicycles and 'Panda cars' to explore the island. The peninsula is ecologically pristine, with blue butterflies dancing and swallows flitting about, showcasing abundant wildlife. Both indoor and outdoor pools have regularly changed water and are well-maintained. The hotel also has its own yacht pier; simply book at the front desk or buy tickets at the lobby shop for direct access to Huangshan Peak, making travel incredibly convenient. The most heartwarming part of our stay was the housekeeping auntie. When she saw my child's summer homework spread out, she thoughtfully placed an eye-protection desk lamp, noticing the dim light in the room. This small act of kindness was truly touching. With one island, one hotel, far from the hustle and bustle, nestled between the lake and mountains, enjoying nature in peace – this is the ideal state of a vacation.

This time, I took my child to Hangzhou to catch the tail end of the summer vacation. I originally booked a deluxe king room, but the lovely lady at the front desk upgraded us directly to an executive lake view king room. The floor-to-ceiling windows on a high floor offered a direct, stunning view of West Lake. The room was spacious, the bedding was comfortable, and the two lounge chairs by the window made for a very pleasant spot to enjoy the lake view. The observation deck on the 10th floor also had an unbeatable view, and watching the West Lake scenic area at night was absolutely incredible. The hotel's location is uniquely advantageous; it's just a few minutes' walk to the lakeside of West Lake. The breakfast selection was rich, and it was incredibly convenient for getting around, sightseeing, and dining. Hubin Pedestrian Street is right next door, and several century-old shops are just a few minutes' walk away. It exceeded my expectations in every way. Next time I visit Hangzhou, I definitely have to stay at the Xinqiao Hotel! 👍👍👍

Our two-day stay here was absolutely perfect! We happened to check in on my birthday, and I didn't have to lift a finger the entire time. Our dedicated butler handled everything with such thoughtful care. They didn't just decorate the room beautifully for my birthday, but also arranged a travel photoshoot, a SPA experience, and a Five Elements assessment. The whole process was incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. The butler's service was meticulous and responsive, and the breakfast was delicious. Overall, the stay far exceeded our expectations. Both the environment and the service were impeccable, providing a truly exceptional experience. It's definitely on our list for a return visit, and we'll choose this hotel again for our next trip. Front desk staff, Ms. Wang Xiao, kindly upgraded my mother's room for free. The room was spacious and bright, with a bathtub for a relaxing soak. The environment was quiet, ensuring a great night's rest. Breakfast was plentiful, and they even gave us a souvenir upon check-out. I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends and family when they visit Hangzhou.

The hotel is in a great location, which is a big plus considering the traffic around West Lake in Hangzhou. It's just a few minutes' walk to the lakefront, not far from the Broken Bridge, and right next to Wulin Night Market. The breakfast selection is extensive, and there's a kids' pool, which is great for families. Overall, it was a good stay, and any minor hiccup during check-in was promptly resolved by the lobby manager.

Hygiene: The room was very tidy and clean. Facilities: All in good working order, simple and practical. Environment: Located on the back hills of West Lake, the scenery is truly beautiful. However, the immediate vicinity isn't very lively. There's a street nearby with a supermarket and restaurants. The main reason for staying here was its proximity to the shuttle bus stop for Lingyin Temple. Service: The hotel is very business-oriented. During business events, the rooms are fully booked, so they wouldn't offer an upgrade. Also, at breakfast, when it's busy, they are slow to refill dishes. By 8:30 AM, there were empty trays with no sign of replenishment. The variety was average, just convenient. Late check-out until 2 PM (subject to room availability).
