I had a wonderful stay at the Baroque Hotel Harbin and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the city. The location is fantastic—right in the Baroque cultural district and within easy walking distance of Zhongyang Street, Stalin Park, and many of Harbin’s main attractions. It’s a great base for exploring the city, especially if you enjoy walking around the historic areas. The hotel itself is very clean and comfortable. My room was spacious, well maintained, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was comfortable, the heating worked perfectly (which is important in Harbin!), and the bathroom was modern and spotless. The room was also surprisingly quiet at night. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Check-in was quick and smooth, and they were always willing to help. One thing I particularly liked was the atmosphere of the surrounding neighborhood. The Baroque district has a unique architectural style that reflects Harbin’s fascinating Russian history, and it feels a bit different from other parts of the city. All in all, this hotel offers great value for money, a convenient location, and comfortable rooms. I would happily stay here again on my next trip to Harbin. The only thing they could improve on is the breakfast which was a bit lacking. Still, they even gave me a free gift upon checking out which was a nice touch.

Because it is a new hotel opened in 2025, the overall hygiene and facilities are pretty good, but when it comes to specific details, too many problems are exposed. For example, when the housekeeping staff called the lobby, no one answered, so they had to go downstairs to the front desk to ask anything they wanted to ask. Also, could the laundry room put a mark on the elevator buttons? Moreover, shouldn't you check the indicator light at the door of the guest room when cleaning the room? I pressed the light for immediate cleaning early in the morning, but when I came back in the afternoon, I had to wait for the lady to clean it immediately. Because it was an immediate cleaning, I observed the entire cleaning process on the spot. During the cleaning process, the housekeeping lady directly packed up the garbage bag, and without taking any hygienic operations, she put the new bath towels and towels under the sink with gloves on after she had just cleaned up the garbage. This means that garbage has the same status as towels and bath towels. I hope that the service standards can be improved in the future!

No need to go far for good food and exploration! The building itself is a beautifully renovated old merchant house, blending European carved facades with traditional Chinese courtyard elements. The wooden guest rooms are elegant and quiet, and the courtyard's lush greenery creates a wonderful ambiance, perfect for photos. The front desk staff are warm and attentive, even offering recommendations for local cuisine. The bedding in the rooms is soft, and overall cleanliness is acceptable. On the downside, some rooms are a bit small, soundproofing isn't great, and water pressure in the bathrooms can be inconsistent. Breakfast options are limited, and there's a noticeable price difference between peak and off-peak seasons. Overall, this hotel is ideal for travelers looking to immerse themselves in the historical charm of Old Daowai. If you prioritize location and a retro atmosphere, it's a great choice. However, if you're seeking ultimate comfort and top-notch facilities, you might want to consider other options.

The facilities are excellent and the B&B's style is absolutely gorgeous, far exceeding my expectations! The hygiene is top-notch; an auntie cleans every day, making it a truly comfortable and clean stay. The environment is also fantastic, with a neat and pleasant little courtyard belonging to the hotel. The service attitude is superb – they answer all your questions and are thoughtful and warm! Located in a residential area, getting around is super convenient. It's just a few minutes' walk to the Chinese Baroque area, and there's a subway station nearby, so transportation gets full marks!

We had a very pleasant stay at this home in Harbin, China. The house was spacious, clean, and comfortable, perfect for our family.The owner was extremely helpful and responsive, assisting us with many things from before our arrival until after our departure. On our last day, after check-out, the owner kindly helped us store our luggage, allowing us to explore Harbin freely before our evening flight.Overall, it was a very convenient and enjoyable stay, and we highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Harbin, especially for families.

The young staff at the Songyue Hotel's front desk were all wonderful, such lovely young boys and girls. They were warm and friendly, and knowing we had a child, they even upgraded our room for free. The room had wall-to-wall carpeting, was clean, tidy, and odorless. It was quiet and cozy. The price was budget-friendly, but the service and environment were top-notch. They even offered thoughtful WeChat guidance service, which was excellent, so we extended our stay for another night. It's definitely one of the recommended good hotels.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel! Originally, I booked it as a transitional stay between 1903 and Aoluguya. But the room gave me the impression that the owner only wants to make money in winter – is this really what you get for 300 RMB? The hardware is top-notch, and the bedding is super comfortable. You can tell there are thoughtful touches throughout the hotel, like the bathtub door that opens and closes to suit different guests, and you can even watch TV while soaking. The small courtyard is also lovely with a little pond, which I imagine would be fun for a dip in the summer. The slippers were comfy too. I actually missed breakfast because the bed was so comfortable I just slept right through it 😂. There's one minor complaint: the sink faucet doesn't have an aerator, but the bathtub faucet does. It doesn't really affect anything though. The toilet isn't electric, but personally, I'm not bothered by those things, and a non-electric toilet actually fits the hotel's overall style quite well. Overall, even though it was an upgraded room type, the biggest difference between room types is just the size, but the price difference isn't huge. I'm definitely willing to pay a bit more for a better stay. Even though it's next to the street, it's very quiet. I'd definitely choose this hotel again in the future; it's genuinely good.

This hotel is amazing for kids. We had three different rooms, they were all fantastic. One room had a slide and ball pit, one had a tree with a tree house for kids to sleep in, the third room was like candy land. My child loved staying here. The location is great, it's a 5 min walk to Chinese Baroque Street, which is a pedestrian only street filled with Russian and Chinese souvenir shops, cafes and shops warm clothes. There were so many photo opportunities. There are taxis out front so it's easy to go to Harbin Snow and Ice World, Siberian Tiger Sanctuary or St Sophia Church. The service at the hotel was excellent. The receptionist, Wang Xinrui, was incredible. She helped us numerous times, including finding a pharmacy and navigating the TV to find English speaking movies when our child was unwell. She was always available and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.
