I booked this motel after my reservation at the double tree got canceled and then asked for way more per night. This location was very affordable and close to Hollywood beach boardwalk. 1st driving up you may be sketchy but it's exactly what we needed. The area is very quiet and the traffic is much better than the other tourist areas. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable enough. Angela at the front desk was very sweet. The pool area was nice & open late. Again very quiet and peaceful. Big mini fridge and microwave. The lobby has vending machines and there is a laundry room. My only complaint is the linoleum floors could be cleaned better. I definitely recommend coming here You wont be disappointed.

Flew into FLL night before a cruise on a Sunday depart. Took uber from airport and got to this place within 15 mins. Located on a main drag, there is a small park area and main entrance, not much room for many cars dropoff. But no issues. Checked in and was given ground floor room. Place has been redone to a more modern decor. Floors and all fixtures in room were in not bad condition. This place must have been around since the 1950's at least, but updates have kept it relevant. Room had microwave and fridge, both working condition. Bed was comfortable I got good sleep. Bathroom not bad, shower , and decent size. Near a Publix supermarket down the road, so you can get all your stuff, food, toiletries etc. This place has a pool, I didn't use it. Didn't use coffee or any food there. Just needed a place to stay before cruise. Comparative to prices of other places and what you get, location. This one is pretty good, and I will use it next year again for cruise.

We were assigned rooms on the second floor and were not forewarned that there was no elevator. So four ladies in their seventies had to lug the luggage upstairs. The facilities were very clean, the rooms were large and the beds were comfortable. However, in the morning, when we declined the expensive shuttle service to the cruise terminal, we asked the front desk to call us a cab. When the supposed 10 minute wait became an hour, we "suggested" to the clerk that he had not called for a taxi. He replied that it was not his job. That's the first hotel we've ever been in that does not provide that service. Luckily, we were able to flag down a passing taxi and were able to get to the terminal before the ship sailed. Front desk staff can make or break a stay.

Hotel prices the night before our cruise in Miami and Ft Lauderdale were astronomical. I found this gem for a fraction of the cost of other hotels ($140 vs $300) and I was not disappointed. I chose it because of the great reviews combined with the price, and it was just an added bonus that it was close to the beautiful Hollywood Beach Broadwalk (3 mile drive). The room was small but clean and updated and the courtyard (gated and locked) was absolutely gorgeous. In January the pool was open and heated. I didn't swim but I did put my feet in. It was only 15 minutes south of the Fort Lauderdale Airport and only 20 minutes from the Port of Miami. My only complaints would be the parking and the bathroom mirror. The parking on the left side of the building feels sketchy but is probably just fine, and the parking on the other side is well lit but it is tight. The area wasn't busy at all so we didn't have to worry about traffic. The bathroom mirror is hung high so that if you are less than 5' you can't see your face, or less than 5'2 and you can't see your hair. There is a full length mirror outside of the bathroom but it would be nice if they could flip the bathroom mirror to be portrait instead of landscape. We arrived at the hotel around 7:30pm, checked in and put our bags in our room and then we drove to the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk. Parking was $4/hr I think and the beach was lined with shops and restaurants plus we could put our feet in the water even in the dark.

The best Rodeway Inn we have been to. Very neat and clean. The hotel has a enclosed court yard, so it’s safer than those “open” motels. Got a nice swimming pool opens to 11 pm. It’s nearby many restaurants and a Publix supermarket is walking distance. Hollywood beach is about a mile away. Fort Lauderdale airport is not far. Great location!

We arrived late and swiftly checked in. The pool area looked nice and inviting, but we were unable to enjoy it. The room was clean, but outdated. The staff were very helpful and kind. The lobby is a bit small, but clean and open.

We stayed one night before a cruise and I have to say that this was a nice place. The room was very clean and the staff were all very nice. There was free coffee in the morning and there were several places within walking distance to buy food. This was perfect for what we needed. I would definitely stay here again pre cruise.

We were looking for a place to stay between the cruise ports of Ft. Lauderdale and Miami. This location was perfect for us. The property and rooms have been updated and are very nice. We stayed in a 1st floor king room. The room was clean, bed and pillows comfortable. The courtyard pool area have been nicely landscaped. The area is fenced and you need a room key to access the property. The front desk staff were nice and printed out 2 pages of travel documents for us. There are many nearby restaurants, some in walking distance, and a Publix supermarket. The only possible downside is parking. We were there early so had no problems but when we went to leave in the morning all the spots were full and others were parked on the street. The space is small and near the sidewalk curb. We suggest looking at a areal view of the property if this might be a concern for you. If we travel out of Port Everglades again, we will definitely stay here. We did not take pictures for those advertised are accurate.
