Hot Springs Hotels in Dali City

We had a lovely stay at little dolphin hotel. Mr Zhao was lovely and very friendly and helpful and there are great views from the roof. We had a room with a private hot tub on a terrace which was heaven to relax in at 40 degrees. Mr Zhao helped us plan where to visit and made a lovely noodle breakfast along with homemade pickles that were delicious. The bed was very comfortable. He is like a kind father, telling us to stay safe and showing us around. Only consideration is it's quite a long taxi ride from little dolphin to Dali ancient town on the other side of erhai lake but Didi is easy to use and inexpensive by British standards (about £8 for an hour's ride) ☺️

This stay was absolutely fantastic, I have to rave about it! I absolutely loved the hotel's decor—simple yet stylish. The hallways and public areas were so inviting and well-designed. The room was a delightful surprise; the floor-to-ceiling windows offered stunning views. Just opening the curtains revealed a breathtaking ocean view and blue skies with white clouds, instantly making me feel completely relaxed and creating a perfect vacation atmosphere! My biggest thank you is to customer service representative Xiaoxue! From booking to check-in, she patiently answered all my questions, proactively helped me with room arrangements, and provided many helpful local travel tips. Her service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. She felt like a warm friend, making the entire trip more enjoyable and smooth. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful vacation!

The room was very spacious and well-equipped. The decor and design were fantastic. The renovation of the historic building is quite unique, and the courtyard is breathtaking. The housekeeping service was excellent, and any requests were promptly addressed. The breakfast was also delicious, featuring some unique dishes. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Yunnan.

The environment here is beautiful and absolutely perfect for photos! The rice noodles for breakfast were delicious. The service was incredibly warm and attentive; they even brought hot milk to our room in the evenings. When we checked out, they gave us a Puerh tea cake and helped us with our luggage. The best part, though, was how photogenic everything was.

I booked 3 rooms frm this inn as I came here with my family. Love the views from our balcony. The view is true to picture! You can see the beautiful mountain frm your window/ balcony. The couple owner was really friendly and helpful too. They even prepared breakfast for us during our stay. Enjoyed the stay. Recommend! 👍

Facilities: The room has a soaking tub, which is nice, but soaking in it is a bit monotonous. I suggest the owner improve this by adding a projector in the living room. There is a small refrigerator in the room, and milk and coffee are available at the front desk. However, upgrading to a minibar would be better; drinks aren't expensive and it would make a difference. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was good; the cleaning staff did a good job. Environment: The pool was empty, the toy's finger at the entrance was broken, and a lounge chair on the second-floor platform was broken. Service: 1. We arrived at the guesthouse around 10:30 am, and there was no one there. We had communicated beforehand and planned to arrive around 11 am. The owner left a message saying we could call if we couldn't find them, but no one answered the phone, so we had to come to the door ourselves. We arrived quite early. After sitting in the courtyard for a while, the cleaning staff finished cleaning, and we went to inquire about check-in. The staff immediately contacted the owner, and the matter was resolved quickly. The owner was also very helpful and immediately arranged a room. 2. Regarding breakfast, every guesthouse has its own specialties. Xianfu offers a set meal per person. I hope the owner will add some local specialties, like rice noodles or Erkuai (a type of rice cake), and please stop serving those tangerines; they're so dry inside. 3. The welcome fruit consisted of two tangerines, two lactic acid drinks, some candy, and small snacks like biscuits. Actually, it would be better to just serve sliced ​​watermelon, pineapple, or some local specialties like pickled vegetables. Overall, the owner is nice, and the auntie is quite nice too. I hope the owner's business continues to improve.

Cangshan No. 1 is a hotel with advanced concepts. The management model is a team of butlers who create a feeling of home for guests and think of everything in front of them. The environment is beautiful and beautiful, with swimming pools, white beaches, coconut trees... creating a different paradise. Every employee has a strong sense of priority and their service attitude is excellent, gentle and comfortable. Not only did he take the initiative to inquire, but he also introduced the characteristics and customs of the Bai people in a very thoughtful way. The room was surprisingly spacious and comfortable. Each room has its own bathing pool, dry and wet are separated, and even the toilet is fully automatic. Very clean! Breakfast and afternoon tea are richly prepared and have local characteristics. There is also a heart-warming evening sweet soup every night. My family and I felt that choosing Cangshan No. 1 for this trip was a great value!

I found this hotel in Dali on Trip.com for our family trip to Yunnan. We drove from Kunming to Dali, and the Kunchu-Dali Expressway was easy to navigate, though the tolls were a bit pricey, over a hundred yuan. Once we arrived in Dali, we followed the navigation on National Highway 214 and found the hotel easily. It's located on the downhill slope of Cangshan Mountain, directly facing Erhai Lake. You can see Erhai Lake from the room and enjoy the fresh air of Cangshan. Check-in was straightforward; the front desk already had our room ready. We were lucky enough to get a room upgrade this time. Our room was on the second floor and had a balcony. Sitting on the balcony, sipping tea, chatting, and enjoying the breeze was absolutely delightful. The room was clean and tidy. We booked a twin room, and the beds were very large, easily accommodating three people. There was also a big sofa in the room that could be used as an extra bed. The room was bright, and the soundproofing was excellent, allowing us to sleep in every day. The hotel breakfast cost 98 yuan per person; we tried it, and it was decent. There aren't many entertainment facilities at the hotel, so if you're looking for that, you might want to consider elsewhere. The hotel offers an electric shuttle service to the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple and the Cangshan Gate of Dali Ancient City, but we didn't get to use it this time. The reason was that the hotel only has one shuttle, and it was already booked when we wanted to use it. We would have had to wait an hour. So, in the end, we had to take a taxi to the Ancient City. Also, the sliding door in the bathroom of our room couldn't close properly, leaving a large gap that let in light. On the bright side, the hotel provided a complimentary shawl, free mini-bar drinks, and welcome fruit, which was a nice touch. Despite a few minor flaws, I would still choose this hotel again for my next visit.
