The location is a bit difficult to find. But the lights are very bright at night. Try not to go out at night. After all, it is in the mountains.

The hotel service is a bit embarrassing, and the attitude is excellent, but there are always some indescribable feelings of inconsistency, such as kneeling service during check-in, and dining activities in the back. The waiter who checks you in does not even remember your last name and where you are. There are only a few rooms in the hotel (not for such a small-scale boutique B&B with few rooms), and there are obvious traces of the process. He also said that he would help to ask if there is any space in the private hot spring the next morning, but nothing was said. 🐶 2. The pillows on the bed in the room are very uncomfortable and too high. There is no difference between the two pillows as they are high. There is no choice. Be careful of stiff neck. 👴 3. The included dinner does not include drinks and menu upgrades, which need to be ordered separately, but we did not order them. When we checked out, the waitress came to ask us for payment. When we expressed confusion, she asked us if we had ordered dinner. Extra drinks. Please, don’t you keep track of whether guests order or not? Wouldn't it be rude to ask guests to confirm the check-out time themselves? 🙁 4. After observing the guests who stayed that day, basically the majority were Chinese (including Hong Kong and Taiwan), followed by a few European, American and Japanese guests. However, the hotel did not have a Chinese-speaking waiter. In addition to Japanese, it was Japanese-style English that was forced to recite words. I want to say that although you can communicate in English, but if you can't speak it, are you really respecting the Chinese guests by talking like a duck throughout the process? After all, it is extremely difficult to communicate like this. Some Japanese people cannot understand the English they speak. I wonder how the hotel has no Chinese-speaking waiters when there are so many Chinese guests and they even open Weibo for promotion? 🙁

A hotel that feels like a business ＋ hot spring hotel, just next to JR Nara Station. The room is clean and quite large, ３ F, but the view from the window was completely elevated by the railway, and I was worried about the sound of the train. The bathroom in the room has only a shower, but there is a large communal bath in a natural hot spring, so I was able to relax. There was no problem with the hot springs and breakfast, and it was as expected. Free bottled water 1 book in the refrigerator, WiFi is also free to connect.

Room was small probably because of the extra sofa bed but it was very convenient and clean. Great location. Close to Nara park and the station. The restaurant is also very nice.

Close to shopping streets and stations, within walking distance to museums and Todaiji Temple. There are supermarkets, convenience stores, drugstores, coffee shops downstairs...it is very convenient for travel and dining. The room size is ideal, the facilities are complete, and the soft and hard furnishings are all online. The only dissatisfaction during my stay: there was no advance notice of the fire drill. I woke up to the alarm in the morning. The first playback was in Japanese, which was completely incomprehensible and very embarrassing. The Indian front desk receptionist upon check-in should remind guests that there will be a fire drill the next morning. Judging from the reactions of other guests, they must have known about this beforehand.

It is a building that feels the age at first glance, but when I stepped in, the nostalgic space that was carefully maintained spread. The room I stayed in ”Awafuji” was a really nice room. In a tatami room with a wide 々, the ceiling is high and you can feel ”I came to stay at my grandparents' house”. I thought it was lit up without worrying when I saw the garden at night. I stayed here for 2 nights with my family of 4 (a couple and 2 elementary school students) during the year-end and New Year holidays. This inn seems to have opened in October 2022 after being renovated from another ryokan, so it feels more for foreigners than for Japanese people. Of course, the staff can communicate in Japanese, but they seemed to be foreign nationals. All staff were friendly. It was my first time in Nara, but the location was good. It is close to Nara Park, and all shrine areas such as Kasuga Taisha are within walking distance. It is also an area where there are many stylish restaurants, so I think adults can enjoy it. My family had two elementary school students who liked and disliked meals, so I prefer family restaurants and Italian restaurants rather than bars and izakayas, but it was okay. There is no elevator, but the suitcases and luggage I left before check-in were carried to the room. It's a wooden building, so the walls are thin, and there was a sign saying no loud noises. The bath is a hot spring and the spring quality is good, but it cannot be said that it is large. There are 3 showers in the men's bath and 10 lockers with locks in the dressing room, but it was so cramped if two adults changed clothes at the same time. If you are an adult, it is better to have about 2 people at the same time, and if 3 to 4 people enter, it will be full. It's just a little bigger than a home bath. There was one coin laundry. You need to bring your own detergent, but there is a washing machine and dryer, which is recommended for long-term guests and those who want to keep luggage to a minimum. Necessary amenities are available at the front desk. There is no refrigerator and TV in the room, so it would be nice if it was easy, but it was a little inconvenient when drinking alcohol bought at a convenience store in the room. The toilet in the room has also been renovated, and it feels like a clean home toilet.

Although the room is small, it has basic facilities. It is not cleaned every day. In the morning, the aunt will put replacement towels in a bag and hang them on the door handle. Free bottled water is only available on the first day of stay. It's close to an elevated building and has good sound insulation. There is a washing machine, dryer and microwave on the second floor. It is recommended that the room be equipped with an air purifier. However, there are fewer breakfast varieties, and the varieties are basically the same every day. There is a guy at the front desk who understands Chinese. The door of the hotel is Exit 3 of Nagata Station on the Chuo Line. Across the road there is a police station, a drug store (UnionPay cards and Alipay can be used, tax-free), a large supermarket (UnionPay cards, Alipay cannot be used) and a sporting goods store (UnionPay Cards cannot be used, Alipay is available and tax-free) There are Lawson and FamilyMart supermarkets around the hotel.

It was a quiet and very good inn with a well-cleaned corner 々. The food was not flashy, but it was carefully and cleanly made and very delicious. It was full of seasonal feelings such as chestnut astringent boiling. The purpose of this trip, the guided tour of Horyuji Temple by the hotel frontman, was the best! It's very interesting and helpful. I suddenly became interested in the Buddha statues I hardly knew! I definitely want to visit you again. It's a little far from the nearest Horyuji station, so I thought it would be nice to have a shuttle bus.

改装されたそうで、フロントもロビーも、部屋もキレイです。 ＪＲ新今宮駅を出てすぐだし、ほんとに泊まるだけなら安いです。 ただ、理解しておかなければならないのは、トイレ、お風呂は部屋にはありません。トイレは階に１か所の共同トイレ（男女別）です。お風呂は大浴場か、シャワールームの利用になります。私が利用した部屋は３畳の畳部屋。布団が一式。 土曜日でもう開いているところがなくて利用しましたが、泊まるところがなければ利用も全然ＯＫだと思います。とにかく料金が安いので、その辺は了解できます。土曜日でも３８００円でしたから。 プライベートはしっかり守られますので、カプセルホテルより断然いいです。バックパッカーとかにはおすすめです。 なので、若い学生さんや、工事関係の連泊、外国人さんなどが多いようです。 ただ、よくわかりませんが、ロビーやシャワールームって、宿泊者以外の人も利用している感じがするのは私だけなのかな？
