We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Istinye Park in early November. It was a completely wonderful experience, without exception. We were warmly greeted upon arrival, and check in was smooth. Our king balcony room was well appointed and the windows and balcony provided an amazing direct view of the Gulf of Izmir and the city. We were fortunate to arrive one hour before the fireworks to celebrate the Centennial of the Turkish Republic. We were able to enjoy the fireworks from our balcony. The hotel is perfectly located for easy access to Izmir city, and its suburbs, by foot, car, tram, metro and rail. Breakfast was very high quality and included a wide variety of fresh Turkish and western choices. Maja in Guest Relations was wonderfully friendly and helpful, and she made a dinner reservation for us at our desired restaurant on the Izmir waterfront. The hotel's rooms were clean, modern with very good facilities on high quality, breakfast was perfect offer not super large in variety but so delicious.. this is definitely not what drove me to make this feedback, what was exceptionally outstanding was the team, I have never seen this class of genuinely welcoming team with natural level of personal attentiveness, started from the receptionist Dedma who checked me in and was so professional, then the concierge tea. Deniz Deperli that made everything possible to ensure on guest's satisfaction and pleasant stay, as well her colleague Gezia that was taking a look around during breakfast with best attitude and smile checking on guests satisfaction. Sorry for lengthening, but there was as well an unforgettable approach by one humble kitchen worker, I requested a grilled Haloumi cheese that she prepared with pleasure, and 2 days later out of all other guests, she recognized me and with me asking, she asked me and said ” sir, maybe you would like some grilled haliumi, not only that but she has the most natural & genuine smile when I said ” yes, thank you ” This is by far my favourite hotel stay experience in life. Well done Marriott Izmir management and congratulations for having such a passionate people in your team.

This hotel is not for families!! The minute we arrived, we did not feel welcomed!! The reception staff behaviour was disrespectful to say the least, especially the female ones!!! They don't listen and their first answer is always 'No' even though the first rule in customer service book is never say 'no' to customers but must be like 'ok, I will see what I can do' or 'I will do my best'!! One strange thing is those 'see through' bathroom doors. Its not convinient for families since one can see each other when they taking a bath. The indoor pool is very small and not heated and the water is cold as a result. They also ask to wear a hair cover if you want to enter the pool, and you can buy it from them for a relatively high price!

Very polite the staff. Room is clean n facing the garden which is very quiet. Perfect location that many tourists sites n restaurants nearby within walking distance. In short, the living experience is excellent.

Spent the night before leaving Turkey on March 27. great location, can be a little loud as is on the main artery going to the airport in a very busy area of the city. It is actually a large building with different blocks including and sharing the restaurant facilities with Engine Hotel. Free parking at the rear. This is not a seasonal hotel, it is open and busy year round. clean, modern, 24-7 service. Nothing to complain, all good from the staff to accommodation and restaurant. Restaurant was very busy in the mooning, there were a few groups checking out, just like us, at 8:00 am. There is everything you need around, again it is in a very busy area with shops, restaurants and shopping malls. We picked a very good sea food restaurant, a block away, very good choice. Fully recommended!

Dont be fooled but the past reviews as my wife and I did. First of all the room that they offered was not suitable for a couple, our luggages didnt have enough space, also I we want to go to the bathroom whom it happened to be outside the room, I would have to jump off my husband on the bed. So when we asked for another room, he charged us $60 for the whole 5 days. I am more convince that its a trap to get more money. The bathroom in the new room is soo rusty, the shower head is dirty and awful. My husband had to buy scotch tape to keep the seat cover open because it keeps closing on us. The faucet keeps leaking greenich liquid. On top of that the roudness of the guy at the check in is disgusting and shameful and it continues to the morning hostess to the laudry ladies whom they didnt clean our room on the first day bcs we left our room at 11 am, so they wants us to leave early, how about I plan my trip for there convinience? The next day they kept talking loudly and slap things up just to make us leave. The morning buffet whomnit happen to be the be the same daily deefrost food, we happened to got nothing to do with Izmir's famous breakfast. We couldnt wait to leave that nightmare expirence. I wonder how they got all those certificates from expedia and other sites. I will make sure personaly to let all the travel agencies in Leb that its a trap hotel

This hotel is one of the best I've stayed in on par with top name hotels and exceptional value the staff are excellent always friendly respectful and go above and beyond to help nothing is to much trouble the management don't hide behind the scenes always around and there to have a chat or help altho you are treated as a guest your also treated like a friend, the breakfast buffet has plenty of choice something for everyone i would recommend to anyone going to Izmir definitely a 10 out of 10 plus

The room is of small size but is functional and for staying the night it was OK. In the shower room WC in the morning there was the smell of sewage coming from the sink overflow. Not really what you want for the start of the day!!!! The young lady at the reception desk was functional and helpful but did not go over the top with customer interaction. the English language skills were excellent. The breakfast served in the restaurant was good with a good variety of bread, pastries fruits, etc. As a vegetarian the omelets had meat in them, the restaurant manager Altan Uslu was very helpful and arranged for a meat-free omelet to be brought to the table. That was a very good service. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the train station so convenient for traveling between the airport and the hotel and very close to the seafront.

Its relatively.new hotel with nice iclassical interior design and good colour scheme.. Locations: 5 min drive from Izmir airport. But too far by walking to local town Sarnic where it's 1 stop to airport or 8 stops to Izmir Hilal major interchange with red metro line. Take buses 705 or 828 which runs every 10-15 min, or taxi Reception; quick check in and out. Room: clean, comfortable, but mattress a little soft. For me. No view. Wi-fi: easy access and strong signal, fast, reliable Breakfast: full Turkish breakfast with many options, self service buffet style. Dinner: good service and delicious food. I ate Steak and salad, came with complimentary bread and dips, and free starter bites. Airport Shuttle: free ride to airport from 6am to 14:00, only for taking flight. Gym/ fitness room at basement: spacious, good range of free weights and a crossover pulling machine, a few standing cycling, cardio walking machines. Yoga mat. Overall: good stay for 3 nights.

I was undecided about which hotel to choose, but this was a great choice. It's conveniently located near the station. Above all, the hotel itself is very clean and sunny! I highly recommend this hotel when you visit Izmir.
