Great location with lots of food options in the neighborhood a short drive away or a bike ride away. The resort area comprises of Pullman, crowne plaza and Wanda. So if u prefer to eat in one of these hotels that’s an option but much more pocket friendly options in the area too outside of this hotel area but close by. Rooms are comfortable. An outdoor and indoor pool are available but the indoor one water is too cold and needs to be regulated. The steam and sauna are not always on so if u are the first one to use like in my case then u have to wait till it heats up and gets fully operational. Steam worked great but sauna not so good. Jacuzzi was busted and non-operational. Don’t forget to get ur swimming caps as even though outdoor pool one is not required but if it rains u must go to the indoor one as per hotel rules and for indoor u need a cap and to buy one at site is very expensive. The check in desk person Jacky Chen was very nice and helpful. Smooth check in process. Eva he at the breakfast buffet was also very kind and friendly and all the staff generally were good. However the staff at the front entrance gate need to be trained better to talk to customers like they normally should to customers but I felt they were very rude although it was not there intention to be rude. They just need better training. Parking is not allowed around the entrance circle but many people are allowed to park and is not consistent. If they allow one car to park then they should allow all. Local cars should not get preference. Even the help staff at the breakfast should be trained a little more to serve customers as it was quite chaotic. Overall a pleasant stay but some improvements required as highlighted above.

We booked two rooms in the hotel. One for my children and one for us as a couple. We loved both rooms. The location is suitable and distance friendly to most attractions and the staff members go beyond the normal service to make you feel at home. Adora from the front desk was extremely helpful and caring towards us. She sent us a list of children a activities in the hotel and helped us when feeling sick sending us a basket of fruit and some porridge. She even met us the day we left go give us a present from the hotel. The breakfast was delicious offering many options and the rooms very spacious and clean. Thank you Adora and Intercontinental hotel - xishuanbanna is beautiful and the hotel is the perfect combination to this trip.

It was my first time in Xishuangbanna. I was quite surprised when I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. The lobby is transparent and the breeze is very comfortable. There are live peacocks in the lobby for tourists to watch. The service attitude of the hotel staff is very good. Booking hotel accommodation also comes with free travel photography, and five free refined photos of clothing are given for free. It is very cost-effective. The travel photographer is very professional and the photos he took are very beautiful. I thought it was free and didn't have much expectation, but the photos were really good. When choosing photos, they didn't force you to choose more photos. The attitude was very comfortable! If I have the opportunity in the future, I will stay in this hotel again.

The four-piece set is silky and really comfortable to sleep on. Next to the floor-to-ceiling window is a large hot spring bath that can easily soak two people. And they even provide disposable bath towels. The details are touching! The breakfast is also very rich. Chinese rice noodles, noodles, buns, stir-fried dishes! Western coffee, bread, desserts! Whatever you want, we have it! ! ! By the way, there is also a gym in the hotel work area. Good review!

There is also a children's pool for small children. There are also a lot of swimming rings. Children like yellow ducks. As soon as they arrive at the inn, they are in the pool. The best thing about the room is that it has a balcony, where you can cool your clothes, play with your children, chat with your husband here at night, have a small world of two, and overlook the swimming pool. The disadvantage is that the bathroom facilities are too simple and old, which reduces the overall feeling.

We loved everything about our stay at this hotel. They contacted us ahead of time to confirm our stay and arrange transportation to the hotel. They were available via WeChat at any time and quickly fulfilled any requests we had. The hotel was very quiet and away from The busyness of the city center while still being easily accessible. The room was very clean and comfortable and they offered complimentary warm milk each evening as well as a fruit tray one evening and ginger tea on a cold day. Driver Wang helped us arrange our day activities and drove us anywhere we wanted to go for a very reasonable price. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in XiShuangBanna.

The room is big and beautiful. Even the smallest rooms have private pools. The hotel brought us a large plate of fruit upon arrival which was nice to us. The staff were super helpful and courteous. We checked out of the hotel but our flight was cancelled. We had to re-check in. After checking in, I realized that I had accidentally thrown the medicine in the trash. I talked to Li Tianjiao, the front desk manager, and she told me not to be nervous, she would let the housekeeper find my medicine in the hotel rubbish. I want to do it myself. I didn't want to disturb the housekeeper, but the hotel insisted that I rest in the room and let the housekeeper do the dirty work. Wei Qiongzhen room service found my medicine and returned it to me right away. I am grateful that this medicine is not an ordinary prescription. Very expensive. If this were to happen in the US, there would be no way the hotel would have gone through so much trouble to help me. I stay here every time I visit. All the Wanda hotels I stayed in were great!

It would be nice to wash them and hang them on the balcony when I came back. The breakfast is relatively simple, especially for those of us who don't eat spicy food, the choices are narrower. But fried dough sticks, soy milk, egg and pickles are enough for us. There will be a kind of fruit every day, but the type is basically the same. In fact, it’s okay not to order breakfast. The restaurants around the hotel are open early. The hotel is very close to the Daxing Supermarket, turn left about 50 meters when you go out. The supermarket has all kinds of daily necessities, and the price is also approachable, highly recommended. The hotel is 500 meters away from the Gaozhuang Tourist Service Center, where you can take a direct train to the scenic spot. Before 7 o'clock in the morning, the front desk was locked with black lights and no one was there. This should be told to the guests in advance.
