Yiqiu Secret Resort Hotel (Jiuzhaigou Branch)

During the National Day trip to Jiuzhaigou, I wanted to find a homestay to rest. I saw the pictures of this one and thought it was good, so I booked it. Before leaving, the housekeeper contacted me and set up a group to remind me that there was a section of mountain road to pay attention to. When I went there, I found that it was really a primitive mountain road. I climbed several hundred meters in height for a seven-kilometer journey and drove all the way to the top of the mountain. This experience was really amazing! I met several cute cows on the road, and they gave way politely! When the car drove to the hotel, several girls ran over to give Hada, which was an unexpected surprise! A homestay with a great sense of design. After chatting, the owner's feelings are amazing! The scenery is beautiful, and the chef's level is also satisfactory. As soon as I entered the yard, the puppy Wangcai ran over. It was really a super well-behaved dog. He played for a long time before leaving and came back at any time. This stay was really beyond expectations and I will stay for a few days if I have the chance!

Everything is good except that the road up the mountain is too tortuous. I was scared to death when I went up the mountain. I went around 32 circles. I was wandering. It was very cold on the mountain and I needed to bring more clothes. There was a power outage at night when I checked in, and I woke up from the cold at night. It is still far from Jiuzhaigou and not close. It takes about an hour and a half to drive on the road. I didn’t see the stars at night. The dog in the hotel is very cute and lively. If the hotel can pick you up from the mountain, it is worth going. The environment is nice, and there are disposable bath bags. The breakfast selection is still a bit limited. It is a good place to take pictures on a sunny day.

There are always people coming for you! At an altitude of 2,846 meters, the air is already slightly thin, but the human feelings are warm. Everyone smiles and there is always hot tea. A real wild luxury hotel, wild enough! The rugged gravel road up the mountain seems dangerous, but in fact, as long as the car has a higher chassis, it is completely fine. The local villagers can go up and down freely. There are only mountains and forests as far as the eye can see. In the evening of this season, there will be little squirrels chasing and playing on the roof. Luxurious enough! Each room is a fully designed, independent courtyard villa with perfect interior design and natural moving lines. You can see the beautiful scenery while lying on the bed. What's even better is that the room has floor heating. There are pavilions for viewing in the courtyard, as well as outdoor hot springs. The hotel restaurant is also very good. Breakfast is a new ******* meal, which fully considers the needs of tourists from the north and south, and has ******* characteristics. There are two options for dinner: stir-fry set meal and hot pot set meal. They are all good in person, all large and fresh.

There are beautiful scenery isolated from the world. Although it takes half an hour to drive on a rugged mountain road, it is really worth the bumps. The hotel service staff greeted us very enthusiastically and explained seriously the unsatisfactory aspects of the environment. I personally don't mind the problems that are bound to occur in this mountain environment. The employees are all locals and will greet and say hello to the guests enthusiastically. The guard dog Wangcai is also cute.

The road up the mountain is a little tortuous, so be careful But! The scenery on the mountain is amazing! I also like the style of the room, which makes me feel comfortable physically and mentally! The atmosphere is very good! The hot pot is delicious, the service is very warm, and the scenery is unforgettable. In addition, it is really nice to blow the wind~that feeling is that you are really in it. ❤️

I went to Jiuzhaigou a long time ago. My husband wanted to go because he hadn't been there. Actually, I didn't want to go. When I searched for hotels, I suddenly found the secret of the hills. I was attracted by the beautiful scenery when I clicked in. The first reaction in my head was to live in the clouds. I immediately asked my husband to have a look. Well, there was such a feeling, so we embarked on our journey. After seeing Jiuzhaigou, we didn't arrive at the hotel until the next night. The housekeeper came down the mountain to pick us up. It was very nice and enthusiastic. When the car drove up, you would find that there were many bends. We lived at the top of the mountain. It was really living in the clouds. The soup pot for dinner was delicious, and so was breakfast. Now I still miss the white porridge that night. How could it be so fragrant! The housekeeper took us to the room, took our luggage for us, and enthusiastically introduced the layout of the room. I like it. The mountain spring water in the glass bottle, wow, I like it so much, comfortable mattress and pillow, a good night's sleep. The next morning, we couldn't wait to look out through the curtains. There was a thick white fog, coming from far away. Slowly, the surrounding rooms were looming. After breakfast, the fog dissipated. After the sun came out, the sky was blue, and light music was playing. At that moment, it felt like time had stopped. Between heaven and earth, between nature, you can be intoxicated and relax your body and mind. Unfortunately, the time was too short in a hurry. I was too reluctant to leave, so I discussed with my husband that I would stay a few more days next time and not go anywhere. Finally, I would like to thank the hotel housekeepers for their good service and comfort☺️

What you see is what you get, I love it, I will come again next time. Facilities: It can be seen that the boss is a person who pursues style. The toiletries and hardware facilities are all world-renowned brands, great 👍. Hygiene: Clean and tidy, with a faint wood fragrance, very high-end. Environment: A very primitive hotel. The road up the mountain really tests driving skills. The winding mountain road is still quite scary. A small suggestion is to remind guests when checking in that there will be little squirrels on the roof at night. It is really a bit scary when you hear it in the middle of the night. The stray puppy adopted by the hotel is so cute. I took it into my arms and took a lot of photos. I listened to the story of the hotel brother telling it to recognize its owner everywhere. It was so funny. Hahahaha. Service: The biggest feeling is that this is a hotel with a very humanistic atmosphere. The two ******* girls at the front desk are beautiful, cute and enthusiastic. Five-star praise! The ******* brother of the hotel also recommended many special tourist attractions to us, which is super nice. There was a guy in the kitchen who was very cute. He cooked well, and the dishes were very clever and his aesthetics was top-notch. When we checked out, the hotel staff came out to see us off, and there were even some local ******* sisters who I had never met before, who were probably busy in the kitchen and cleaning. Sentimental people really can't stand this kind of scene❤️, but everything was really great! I hope this homestay will get better and better, and the business will last forever! I also hope that the people working in the homestay, as well as the dogs, will be happy and happy in work and life!

First of all, thank you for the Hada and snacks sent by the hotel. The introduction was very enthusiastic, and the environment was beautiful and creative. But these can't make me give a sincere praise. I do have a problem myself. I like to stay in various wild luxury hotels. Wherever the mountain is high and the road is long, I am attracted. I believe that many friends who stay in the hotel, like me, want to experience this kind of empty and comfortable life before choosing them. So this time I specially booked the most expensive room. Since I was a girl traveling alone, I really wanted to achieve the highest comfort and safety within the possible range. But it was obviously disappointing. The following is the not-so-good experience of this stay: 1. Transportation. I saw this one before I came, but I saw that the good reviews all said that because the road was too bad, the hotel sent a special car down the mountain to pick people up, and I stayed in other wild luxury hotels with similar environments. This service is also available. At most, it will be bumpy, and the impact is not great. I took a taxi all the way, so the original plan was to take it to the bottom of the mountain and then let the hotel take it up. But when I needed to go up the mountain that day, I was told that this service was no longer available [now], and it was recommended that I contacted a [local driver] to take a car, so I agreed. But when I think of other hotels of the same price that I stayed in before, the owner even drove up and down the mountain to pick me up and drop me off for fun, without any charge, and here I not only suffered but also had to spend more money, so my impression was greatly reduced. 2. Privacy/security: When I entered the room, the staff told me that the entire yard was my private area and outsiders could not enter. Just as I was admiring the hotel's characteristic courtyard architecture and taking pictures, I suddenly heard footsteps behind me. I saw that a local resident walked past me calmly with a backpack on his back. I was stunned and asked the hotel the reason. I was told that it was a road opened by local residents who were collecting herbs to take a shortcut. I didn't know there were guests, and I had told them that they could not go any further. Just after receiving the reply, another man and a woman walked past behind me. I could only remind them again with a cold sweat (Figure 1). At the same time, I approached and saw that a piece of the fence in the yard had been removed (Figure 2), and the land below was connected to the local residents' own land. My private space is connected to other people's land. Oh, by the way, there is also an outdoor hot spring pool in the center of the courtyard that [originally attracted me very much] (Figure 3). Now I dare not soak outside. The impression score continues to decline. 3. I didn't get a good rest at night. I would put this in the second item, but the hotel reminded me many times that it was safe here, so I listed it separately. There are small animals at night, which will make some noises around your house, which I can understand. Wooden houses may have some sounds similar to thermal expansion and contraction, which I can accept. But I still can't confirm where the (electronic device sound) that woke me up and I heard [three times] came from. My ears are fine, and I checked the smart toilet, speakers, and refrigerator in the room. They functioned normally and there was no similar sound. It was more than one in the morning, and I don't think normal people would have it (Figure 4-5). It was indeed that I was [too nervous], but as a person who often stays in wild luxury hotels alone, I was so damn nervous for the first time, and I didn't [expect it]! I personally think that my concerns are at least justifiable (see the second item). Even if I am [too suspicious and overthinking], I hope my experience can provide some reference value for friends who travel alone like me. 4. Others. Compared with the above problems, the following are just minor problems that are not worth mentioning: the soup pot at night is OK, and the breakfast during the day is too [simple] (Figure 6). The hotel should consider at least giving some other options to guests who are not so accustomed to it. According to my experience, there should be at least one breakfast staple (porridge/noodles/bread) that is more widely accepted. The milk in the picture was asked for by me. There are many flies and insects, but I believe that people who come here are at least mentally prepared to sleep with insects like me, so it is not a big problem. In summary, if you drive an off-road vehicle, like to experience natural life, like characteristic folk architecture and film-making environment, and sleep sweetly and calmly at night, I recommend this to you. If you are similar to me, with average sleep quality, but have requirements for transportation, and are more concerned about privacy and breakfast options, you should consider it carefully. To borrow the words of another comment, I won’t say a word for a few hundred yuan a night; it’s hard for me to comment on the room fee of nearly two thousand yuan when I encounter these.

For me, it's like a paradise, where time stops and I can have a good rest. The Wangcai dog is there for me 24 hours a day, and every girl at the front desk is very attentive.
