Stayed for 1 nt. hotel is right at the end of the esplanade. Lovely views and sunset over the sea. On checking in we asked about a standard and a superior room, as we hadn’t precooked our visit, lady on reception with abit of effort could have sold us a superior room but when I asked if we could see both rooms she said not as she was alone on reception ( in other hotels we have been given a key to look ourselves) in the past. Standard sea view room was very nice, however neither did she recommend we needed to book to eat in the restaurant, and being a Monday evening we didn’t think it would be necessary, we were wrong, only 1 chef on so couldn’t eat there. Decided to walk into town to eat, definately go the road route, hotel suggested a back way by the harbour, not a good plan, after a long dark explore the exit was blocked, so stick to the road. Checked out in the morning and had a lovely breakfast in the old town at a beautiful bakers shop, better than 25€ ea at the hotel. Would stay again if visiting the beautiful den Haag beaches.

We were a group of twelve plus two dogs in a private room for dinner. The service was wonderful and the staff were all very accommodating, kind, and friendly. We had a four course meal with drinks. It was quite standard Dutch food but good quality, especially for meat eaters. I'd definitely go back.

Great hotel, nice employee, fantastic service, phenomenal experience. I stayed there with a friend for a week, each day we left the hotel at the morning/noon before 11 am. Afterwards we got a cleaned room with new bathtubs and also the kitchen was refilled. The personal was cool. Would like to stay a bit longer

This is the most unexpected thing I have ever lived. Great. Close to the sea. But there is no time to move forward. Very good, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, very good, very good, very good, very good, very good, very good, great, great, great, great, great, great.

It was a very pleasant experience - staff is very friendly and supportive, atmosphere is welcoming, CORPUS museum is just in front and might be a great place to visit with children, breakfast is delicious, the absolute highlight of the breakfast is the Chef who made my omelette with a big smile :) room was not big but fits well for 3 guest - the bed and the sofa bed both were comfortable. This hotel pretends to be 4 stars, but the only thing that warrants giving a star is the size of the room. Everything else is dated, uncomfortable and not clean. There's cobwebs in the corners of the room, the heater in the bathroom is rusting and the shower has very low waterpressure and is mounted in an inconvenient way. Elderly people will have trouble getting into the shower as you'll have to climb into a baththub. The bathrooms were 'refurbished' by covering old bathroom tiles with some sort of vinyl wallpaper. You can still see the shape of the tiles through it. And you can see spots of mold or at least dirt on the edges of it.

Room okay, the reception is very kind ... After 50 meters you are at the nice beach with many restaurants and bars. Also nearby the great Pier with Bungee-Jumping, a lot of shops, restaurants and a big ferris wheel with a great view over the beach. At the beach are many playrooms for the children and you can surf, kite or make other watersports...

Spotless rooms with very nice toiletries. Only negative issue was the service in the reception. Hardly any smiles, you do not get a feeling that you are welcomed. I received a wrong invoice with a name of another customer when I rented a bike. However, the bike rental is otherwise very easy and the bikes are a good quality. If the weather allows I recommend to cycle to your destination. Excellent breakfast with a variety of gluten free and vegan options. You may also have a custom-made omelet.

Before reading all bad reviews about this hotel, but we haven't booked any attractive & room. The hotel was very spacious, very clean and modern. The only point was that there was no TV (for music) & no chair. However, you could sit well in the broad window bank. A luxury breakfast was available at the restaurant below for €12. All with a very positive experience!
