Peninsula Beach Resort
4.2/59 Reviews
Klong Son
Several hotel establishments in the same hotel group share the resort, but the Peninsula seems to be the best of all thanks to its position on the beach and its (poor) rooms (store and very pleasant). The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable and the bathroom is very convenient and well-organised. The air conditioning is also very successful, with several possible combinations, including headlights. The beach is beautiful, clean but not deep. The sunshine is just in front. The negative points: you need to be motorised, because the hotel is quite isolated. The big weak point is the restaurant that is not at the level of the standing. The hotel is very well located in the city centre, and the hotel is very close to the city centre. Last bad point: the reception is unable to give any information about the activities (e.g. the snorkelling that is supposed to be offered), they don't know or say there's nothing at the moment. Unfortunately, there is a lack of customer attention and nothing is done to meet expectations (after 17h, more kayak, because the staff wanted to leave): a big point to improve to maintain a quality level.

We have just returned from a month at this lovely resort. It was amazing! The rooms are huge, bright, airy, spotless and have great views. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was varied and plentiful and served literally on the beach. You can watch fish swimming and hear the waves- it’s a stunning location. There are 3 large pool areas to choose from. All are spotless, with plenty of Sun loungers, Bean bags, tables and chairs, bars and clean toilet/shower facilities. There are plenty of shaded areas to sit/lie in too! The beach is perfect for young children- as it is very long, shallow and sandy, but we swam every day in the sea- some days you just have to walk out quite a bit. There was some construction, maintenance and repair work going on around the resort while we were there, but this did not spoil our holiday at all. My favourite part was the Shambhala Beach Bar- it was absolutely gorgeous! The food and drink prices at the hotel were very reasonable (£5/£6 upwards for 2 meals and water) and there are also plenty of places to eat nearby, just outside the resort & along the main road. We ate mainly at the little restaurant just by the entrance to the hotel grounds (£3 for 2 main courses and a large bottle of water!) and also at Khun Tees on the main road (£4-£5 for the same). It is a 10-15 minute walk down to breakfast/beach area, but it’s a lovely walk through all the on-site villas, gardens and waterways. The oath is well paced and even and if you can’t manage the walk- reception are happy to send a golf buggy to collect you from outside your room. We would definitely come back here again!

The hotel is more than 2 kilometers away from the white sand beach. There are free car transfers for reservations. There are not many types of breakfast, but it is still good. The service staff can't understand English completely. The translation software into Thai has not solved much problems, but the service is really very good. Kind, they are working hard to help us.
The Aiyapura Koh Chang

We wanted to explore Koh Chang - a friend of ours recommended the island due to it's nature, and Aiyapura's location gave us the perfect opportunity to explore both sides of the island without having to drive too much. The resort itself is amazing. Our Premier room was recently refurbished with a new smart TV, and kept in very good condition. The views of the bay are amazing, but there are no sunset views from the beach. They did compensate by giving us free access to the kayaks which meant we could go to the sandbank across from the resort for views. The staff were lovely, every one of them were always smiling and eager to help out. Breakfast was also plentiful with quite a few choices. The resort wasn't that busy - understandable since the whole world is still in recovery.

We had a fantastic stay at Little Sunshine. Beautiful location with a very chilled out vibe. Delicious included breakfasts and an excellent good value menu at the gorgeous beach front restaurant. Incredibly kind, friendly and generous staff who bent over backwards to assist us with transportation to and from, and everything in between. The manager is an absolute legend who even drove us to the local shops to get supplies! Rooms very comfortable with great showers and stunning views from the balcony. They also have a cute resident cat. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you want absolute relaxation on a lovely beach away from the crowds, this is for you.
