A Truly Magical Experience – Beyond Expectations! I recently stayed at Berjaya Resort Langkawi, and I have to say it was one of the most magical and memorable experiences ever! I initially booked the *Rainforest Chalet*, but when I arrived at the hotel with my kids, something extraordinary happened. As I was getting ready to be transferred to the chalet, the assistant manager, Hafi (if I’m not mistaken), stopped the buggy and personally told me that they had decided to upgrade me to the **Premier Chalet on Water**. He mentioned that after seeing me check in with my children, they thought the Rainforest Chalet might not be as comfortable for us. I was completely speechless! The staff’s thoughtfulness and kindness made me feel so welcome and special, like I was being treated like family. What made this even more amazing was that I had only booked the room two hours before check-in via Trip.com, and requested a small anniversary celebration. I didn’t expect much given the short notice, but to my surprise, the staff went out of their way to decorate the room beautifully with towel and bed decor that made the occasion so much more special. I couldn’t believe how efficient and sweet they were in such a short time! What really stood out was the personal WhatsApp message I received from Ira (the guest service team) after check-in. She provided all the menus from the hotel restaurants and a list of activities around Langkawi, including night market schedule around the town! As someone who also works in the hotel industry, I think all hotels should adopt this approach. It keeps guests well-informed and makes them feel truly appreciated and connected throughout their stay. This small gesture made me feel like I had everything I needed at my fingertips! From the bottom of my heart, thank you Berjaya Resort Langkawi, I cannot recommend them enough. From the warm welcome to the magical moments they created, this was an experience that my family and I will cherish forever. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll be treated with care, thoughtfulness, and personal attention, this is it!

A paradise in the rainforest. Absolutely loved the hospitality. The location accessibility ans services were amazing. Just a few more points to include the wifi was intermittent and TV was quite an old one with no options. Could have upgraded them and given options for guests to connect through their devices. Also USB plugs for charging could be better as we had trouble charging our phones. But apart from these it is an amazing place a would love to visit them again. Lovely resort surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful beach. We loved the chalets set in the middle of the forest - kids and adults alike enjoyed the buggy rides to and fro our chalet but you could take a nice walk and take in the sounds & sights of the forest as well. Kids especially enjoyed the numerous pools available. We were pleasantly surprised by the attentive staff - communicated daily via whatsapp which is really convenient for us. All in all, a great place for a relaxing vacation amid nature!

I will rate this resort a 3 star or 2.5 star. It wasn't a good experience as we have to change the room due to flooring and water clogging. There was no bathrobe and the towels were missing in one bathroom. We moved to another room now but we wasted so much time in arranging and shifting. It's not a kids friendly hotel and we found spiders, mosquitos and bees in the room.

Resort location is near cable car and have regular shuttle to cable car station Resort is 30+ years history, for those rooms not yet refurbished the condition is very so so.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. Love the environment and facilities provided. Will definitely come back on my next trip.

Without a doubt, Berjaya Resort is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking relaxation and indulgence in paradise.

Absolutely wonderful place! The staff were so friendly and helpful as soon as we arrived. My husband was fasting for Ramadan, so they changed his breakfast to an in-room delivery for 4am for no extra charge. The hotel breakfast itself was also excellent with lots of fresh, local cuisine to try. We stayed in the rainforest chalet - the room was really comfortable and the scenery was beautiful with lots of local wildlife. We spotted monkeys, monitor lizards. hornbills and flying lemurs while we were staying there, all in their natural habitat. Swimming pool was also lovely and the private beach was idyllic. You can swim in the sea but they have a ‘safe section’ marked off as there can be jellyfish in the sea. There are lots of local activities to do which the hotel can organise for you - we hired a private boat to take the mangrove tour, but there are many options and lots for kids to do too. Highly recommend and we will return again!
