It is very charming and you feel like you are walking into an ancient Chinese village as you approach the hotel. The rooms are lovely and overlook a willow tree by a stream, right out of a Chinese painting. The owner is very friendly and helpful and gave us a room upgrade with a huge bed. The resident cat is also super friendly. Breakfast is delivered to your room. I left my favourite hat behind when I checked out and the owner kindly couriered it my home.
We all enjoyed our stay.
Family tour, just inside Minzhu Street, across Minzhu Street is Luoyi Ancient City, the proprietress is very nice and enthusiastic, there is also a small public area, well designed, very comfortable, the room is also good, the bed is big enough, there is water, snacks, there is a laundry room, clothes can be hung on the second floor, stayed for three nights, the price-performance ratio is very high, and a ceramic zodiac figurine was given when leaving. There are really too many people wearing Hanfu in Luoyang. It is recommended to plan the time during the summer vacation, get up early to go to the scenic spots, stagger with the flow of people, go back to sleep at noon, go to some scenic spots in the afternoon, dress up for photos at night, and be good at sunbathing during the day. In addition, it is recommended to visit the museum in the official account cloud one night in advance, there are really too many people during the summer vacation. You can watch it slowly by renting an interpreter, and it is more vivid to participate in the interpreting group. The time is not free, and each has its pros and cons.

Traveling to Luoyang on a trip that will never be forgotten
I came to the hotel at 11 o'clock in the evening. The front desk patiently waited for me to check in. There was also a gift in Luoyang. If there was something missing, I would send it to the courtyard immediately. Although it is small but very warm, it is suitable for buying a good nightingale on the cross street next door. Come and eat together. 😋 In addition to the court. There is a roof outside the courtyard. The small lights are very warm at night.
When I came to Luoyang, I came to the check-in point of the end of Ming Dynasty, so I chose the nearest homestay to the Drum Tower, but this one was really amazing to me. At first, I felt that the comments on Trip.com were rarely afraid of thunder, but it was really clean.
The first time you come, you must experience the journey from Lijingmen about 1k. The original embodiment of the road of ancient Luoyang City. There are also many special snacks nearby.
It takes 2 minutes to walk to the subway station. The ancient city of Luoqi is also very worth visiting the ancient city of Luoqi at night.
This homestay is on fire~ It is a matter of time Treasure Homestay 😋👍🏻

Just completed the trip today, it's still fresh...can't express enough gratitude and appreciation to the hotel staffs! Enjoyed so much of the great services, great people around, beautiful scene and the delicious food...I was in a family visit in Luoyang, and stayed for about two weeks, every morning starting with a rich buffet breakfast, with beautiful surroundings. The team members are so wonderfully trained, friendly, professional, considerate....I would guess this probably is due to the great leadership of the Hotel, since I have a couple of times interacted with the manager Daniel Chang, he is knowledgeable, responsible, considerate and dedicated to work hard to ensure the best service quality of the hotel. I can go on and on, to mention each one of the hotel teams I met...if you get a chance to visit Luoyang, try Ramada by Wyndham Luoyang Downtown, hope you will have the same experience as I did.
Christian's Hotel , located in the center of charming Luoyang, is characterized by its Bauhaus design and lavishly appointed themed rooms. Nearby attractions include Luoyang Museum, Luoshen Theatre and Zhouwangcheng Square. The hotel's modernist design sets it apart both inside and out; inside the hotel, you'll find each floor taking on a life of its own, with themes ranging from the 'Roman Holiday' to the 'Norway Forest'.

Christian's Hotel has the best service I have experienced at any hotel anywhere in the world. The staff were universally outstanding. It was impossible to single out any one staff member for special praise as they were all excellent. We felt like welcomed friends all the time.
The cleanliness and design of the hotel are also of the highest quality.
The only 'negatives' I have are that there is no lobby bar. The restaurant on the 18th floor gives great views. Surely a small section of the restaurant could be converted to provide a lobby bar? The location is also nothing great. There's nothing wrong with the location, there's just nothing great about it either. It's near a subway station, so getting to attrractions is easy, but there's nothing much in the area around the hotel, no great places to eat, no attractions to take a morning or evening walk to.
Those aside, we would 100% definitely stay there again.
The Friendship Guesthouse (Luoyang Youyi Binguan) is situated not far from the vibrant downtown area and also within easy reach of the Luoyang Railway Station. On offer of this Luoyang hotel are a great variety of accommodations ranging from standard rooms to suites. Both Chinese and Western dishes are served at the on-site restaurants. Diners will also find a banquet hall and private dining rooms available.Business travelers are invited to make full use of various conference rooms suitable for meetings.

I absolutely cannot tell you how much I loved this hotel. If you can believe it I think it might have been the highlight of our trip so far. We were picked up at the station by a car, and taken to the hotel. On arrival Feng Yi, the bellboy provided us with warm towels and tea whilst we checked in. We were on the 17th floor, facing the peony plaza. The room was spacious, and with water, tea, fruit and even bags of candies, as a personalised note welcoming us. Then as if it could get any more lovely at night we were provided with yogurt and Li tang before bed. The breakfast was wonderful and diverse.
My only point to note, and this is really something we have noticed on this trip to China, is that very few staff, including the desk staff speak English. Luckily, I was able to communicate through wechat and voice translator.
That said, I speak some Mandarin so that also helped. But the staff we attentive, kind, welcoming, warm and it was thanks to them that we had such a wonderful time in Luoyang.
The hotel is located in Luolong New District, the capital of Luoyang. It is close to Luoyang Longmen High-speed Railway Station and Luoyang Beijiao Airport. It is about 15 minutes' drive from Longmen Grotts, a national 5A scenic spot. It is adjacent to Luoyang Municipal Government, district government and other government centers, close to one-stop shopping center Superbrand Square and Quanshun Shopping Center. With free parking, a laundromat and a gym, you can wash off your tired body and enjoy French romance when you check in.

Facilities: Except that the shower room is not convenient for hanging towels, and the smart toilet is too noisy. Other facilities are in line with hotels of this price
Sanitation: Clean and tidy
Environment: A little far from the subway station, other good. However, the location of subway stations in Luoyang feels quite strange. However, large supermarkets are complete.
Service: The service is full marks, which is warm and thoughtful.
The Holiday Inn Express Luoyang City Center provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Holiday Inn Express Luoyang City Center offers a pleasant stay in Luoyang for those traveling for business or leisure. With Luoyang Longmen Railway Station just 5km away and Luoyang Beijiao Airport only 17km away, transportation is very convenient. Transportation around the city is also convenient, with Citizens' Home Metro Station within walking distance. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Luoyang New District Gymnasium, Sui and Tang Dynasty Town Botanic Gardens and Kaiyuan Lake Musical Fountain all nearby. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. This Luoyang hotel features parking on site. Our guests consider this hotel to have excellent service. This hotel is the usual choice for a large number of business travelers.

The metro is almost at the entrance to the hotel, a line with a high-speed train station.
A 10-minute walk from the park and opposite it a large shopping center with a food court and a supermarket.
Friendly staff.
Comfortable bed, fresh linens and towels.
The common areas and furnishings are a bit dated, but everything is clean and functional.
Very spacious room, there is a wardrobe.
Breakfast is good, but not very varied.

The hotel is difficult to book at a standard rate during the National Holiday, but the service from 小樊 is excellent. He tried his best to accommodate us and even upgraded our room the first night. We’re very grateful for 小樊 for making our over all experience better.
Except that the new decoration smells too strong, which is not very friendly to people with sensitive respiratory tract, the decoration of the hotel is still very good. The photos don't show how new and good it is. The price is not expensive. A typical five-star resort hotel. The only thing that doesn't match this hotel is that the two front desk staff didn't smile at all when checking in. When checking in, they answered you with two ** faces without smiling at all. No matter what questions you asked, they answered you coldly as if you owed her money. They have no professional qualities at all. If you can't work in the service industry, then don't come out to work. It lowers the grade of the hotel.

CCulturalKeysThis is a very nice hotel which is great value for money. The location is great, just around the corner from a large mall (Wangfujing) and lots of restaurants nearby. I especially recommend the little place with 'Chinese Hamburger' on the sign on the road behind the hotel building - they have an English menu and do great roujiamo - they even have a vegetarian 'sujiamo'! We got an upgrade on check in and the room was spacious and comfortable. The cleaners and reception staff were generally polite and helpful. The breakfast was Chinese but was fresh, different every day, and any food that ran out at busy times was always quickly replenished. The free laundry was very convenient and the machines were easy to use. We did have two issues which made staying there a bit inconvenient though. The first was that when the underground car park was full cars could no longer get past the barrier, meaning they couldn't drive up to reception. This was a problem since the road outside was flooded and meant that we had to load and unload suitcases while standing in deep puddles in the pouring rain. The second issue was the keycards: every day we would come back to our room and the keycard wouldn't work. We complained at reception every single day about this issue but it was never resolved.
JJosh_mnWe had a great experience staying in the room type with two large beds and one bunker bed. We booked this room kinda expecting the bunker bed to excite our 4 and 7 yo and it definitely proved so. Room is clean, AC is great. The breakfast (made free with a trip.com promotion) is quite a treat. Even some might prefer hot coffee but honestly I cannot complain much with the offer of a hard boiled egg, two potstickers, one pcs of corn, millet congee, etc. The staffs are all responsive and ready to help with request like additional towels/bottled water/breakfast food. The owners had a friendly puppy called “fanfan”on site too. At the end of our trip one of the co-owners used his motorcycles to carry a heavy suitcase to the place we booked our taxi and as we can see they ride people to metro station as well. The location is just a short (maybe 100m) walk from the South Gate of Luoyi Ancient City. We took a night walking into Luoyi Ancient City from the north gate after eating dinner in one of the busiest places known for its street food and getting out of South Gate knowing the hotel is just minutes away. Would definitely recommend this one to others who want to stay near Luoyi Ancient City area.
GGuest UserHonestly the best hostel I’ve stayed so far.
Even though this was not a chain hostel like the ones I’ve stayed before, they had all the facilities you can expect from one (pool tables, seats, couches and a huge space to watch movies with a proyector; plus bar and coffee services). Not to mention spotless (all clean at all times)
The owner and girls from reception were amazing and helped me out with every question I had, always so welcoming and accommodating that I ended up extending my stay for 2 more nights. The town is great, so many things to see that I would recommend this place to have the best stay in Luoyang
Big plus the cute puppy they have ♡
LLiVivianI really enjoyed the large, non-smoking room I was given, and they even moved me to a quieter location overlooking the garden. When I checked in, they also gave me a protective sleeve for my card, which was very kind of them. Throughout my stay, I felt like I was given items I didn't know I needed or didn't expect, ex. slippers for the shower, a portable stand for my phone. So at one level, the service was amazing. However, at the same time, there were elements that felt a little off--when I asked for another bed cover, I was basically told by one of the staff that I didn't need it (?), and although on the whole the staff was very nice and polite, there were times when I felt slightly made light of. I wondered if it was in part because of my travelling solo as a woman. I'm thinking about what it means to present myself, if there's something more that needs to be done. Of course, respect is earned, but I'm just reflecting here.
Otherwise, I enjoyed the buffet breakfasts and the location was rather convenient as well, just was a bit noisy before I was moved.
JJin YeImpeccable, the Pury Hotel (国宝铂瑞)is no doubt the best hotel in Luoyang. I was welcomed by the hotel not at the reception, but at the LongMen railway station, the moment I arrived at Luoyang.
All the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, but I must give special thanks to Madame Karen Zhang, the lobby manager, (张静 is her Chinese name). She went out of her way by changing telephone conversations with me in advance to make my trip smooth. I originally booked a two-bed business room for my stay. As she found out that I have some relatives coming to visit me, she upgraded me to a larger room, making it easier for us to sit around. The hotel restaurant is also very good. Well I did not dine anywhere else in Luoyang this time, I have a little doubt it must be one of the best ones around.
The hotel facilities are quite modern and the rooms clean and comfortable.
VvanissaThe boss is very enthusiastic and told me a lot of travel tips. The location is easy to find, just inside the city wall, there is no elevator, the room is not big, the washbasin is also very small, there is no place to put glasses and watches, it is recommended to install a shelf on the wall for simple storage, the indoor table is also very small, not enough to put things. The view outside the window is amazing, and the window is the Lijing door. The sound insulation effect is not bad, the price is moderate, Sprite, Coke, and mineral water are free to drink at the front desk, there is also a kitten house at the door, the two little cuties are very lively, the corridor design is also very comfortable, and the nearby catering and transportation are very convenient. Among the hotels in this location, it should be considered relatively good, recommended!
IIrisI give Dongshan Hotel a thumbs up.
The equipment of a long-established hotel may be aging, but the attentive and attentive service of ”people” can make up for it. The service staff of Dongshan Hotel are very understanding, sensing customers' emotions and observing their current needs. Several of the waiters I met up close were of good quality.
It provides snacks, fruits, and bathing kits for free, which is thoughtful.
Thanks to the hotel, finally helped me send the forgotten charging cable of the power bank to Anyang Hotel by SF Express. In the tea bar on the fourth floor, drink a cup of hot tea and watch the bustling Longmen Grottoes on the other side. This is the most comfortable moment on a cold and rainy day. The tea bar is open until 11pm.
HHuanglyPros:
1) very friendly and accommodating front desk, they gave us extra water bottles, gave recommendations for restaurants, and responded quickly to my questions on wechat
2) great location
3) clean rooms
4) pretty good selection for breakfast
5) stored our luggage for free
6) they gave us some snacks as gifts when we checked out
Cons:
1) our rooms weren't ready for check in when we arrived even though their check-in time is advertised as noon (but it's because their checkout time is at 2pm, so if the previous guest hasn't checked out before noon, it is impossible to get your room at noon); but they can store your luggage for you at the front desk so it is a minor problem if you don't need a room right away
2) there was construction work at the front entrance of the hotel, so we had to walk through a bunch of debris and loud noises; this shouldn't be a problem once the construction work is done, but it was still a surprise for me
Overall, the place is great for the price, location, and service.
GGuest UserEnvironment: It should be a renovation of a self-occupied building. You can probably imagine the general environment. I have lived in better places than this, and of course I have also lived in worse ones. I can only say that it is okay.
Service: The boss and the landlady are very enthusiastic.
Surroundings: There is a school opposite, and there are many restaurants nearby. It is two or three kilometers away from the ancient city of Luoyi. The surrounding area is very quiet at night, with almost no people.
AAnh-BaoGreat bargain given how insanely big the rooms are. I booked a room with queenside bed, bathroom, sink, shower AND bathtub but I was also shown two family rooms that have multiple beds and even living rooms. They were also super affordable.
The hotel has no restaurant so you cannot have breakfast there. However - plenty of restaurants are within a 5 minute radius. There is also a supermarket and a couple convenience stores within 3 minute radius.
The rooms and public areas are kept pretty clean. However - the various areas are in different states. The reception looks like it could need a renovation yesterday. The hallways leading to the rooms look pretty new while some of the rooms (e.g. family rooms) look pretty fresh while my room looked like it is close to being in need of a bathroom renovation. However - it was clean and still in good enough shape and in terms of pricing it was an absolute bargain. I paid way more for much worse in places like Shantou or Paris.
Would I stay there again? If price levels remain the same I would absolutely stay there again. Very nice staff.
