Outstanding
TTraveler 123recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Palacio de los Duques in Madrid, and I must say that it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I entered the magnificent palace-like building, I was captivated by the grandeur and elegance that surrounded me.
The hotel's location in the heart of Madrid's historic center is perfect for exploring the city's attractions. Many iconic landmarks, such as the Royal Palace and Plaza Mayor, are within walking distance, making it convenient for sightseeing enthusiasts like me.
The staff at Palacio de los Duques Madrid truly went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my stay. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service provided by the concierge, every interaction was marked by genuine hospitality and professionalism.
The room I stayed in was beautifully appointed and exuded a sense of luxury. The elegant decor, comfortable furnishings, and modern amenities created a perfect sanctuary after a day of exploring the city. The attention to detail was impeccable, and I appreciated the little touches that enhanced my stay, such as the plush bathrobes and high-quality toiletries.
One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's stunning rooftop terrace. Offering panoramic views of Madrid's skyline, it provided a breathtaking backdrop for enjoying a drink or simply unwinding while taking in the city's beauty. The on-site restaurant also surpassed my expectations with its delectable cuisine, showcasing a fusion of traditional and contemporary flavors.
Hotel Palacio de los Duques Madrid seamlessly blends historical charm with modern luxury. The preservation of the building's architectural heritage, combined with the impeccable service and attention to detail, creates an unforgettable experience.
Overall, my stay at Hotel Palacio de los Duques Madrid exceeded all expectations. It is a true gem in the heart of Madrid, offering a perfect blend of comfort, elegance, and convenience. Whether you are visiting for business or leisure, I highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable stay in the vibrant capital city of Spain.
DDAI ZHENGXIFacilities: Average, no slippers, no toothbrush. I asked for only a toothbrush but no slippers, so I stayed barefoot in the hotel for two days.
Hygiene: Normal cleaning is okay.
Environment: The surrounding environment is okay. I mainly chose it because of the good location. You can go around the city center without taking a taxi. The Plaza de España is at the door, and you can walk to the Grand Palace in ten minutes. There is a super big Zara downstairs. Very satisfied with this. Moreover, the guest service at the bar on the top floor allows you to go directly up to enjoy the view without having to buy a ticket.
Service: 24-hour service, although the things provided are not comprehensive enough. Other hotels in Spain and Portugal provide slippers except theirs.
The breakfast is good and very good value for money. I recommend everyone to try it.
EEl CalafateThe hotel is about 15 minutes from the international airport by taxi. It's about 15 minutes by taxi from the train station. There is a subway station nearby within a 3-minute walk. Very convenient. There are only six stations to take the metro to the palace. The hotel room is very spacious and clean, and there is a sofa bed, which is enough for a family to share a room.
GGuest UserThere are four stages in the journey, and I am now on the third stage. Madrid is the second stage.
This hotel is the best one among the three stages so far!!
The room is very clean and spacious. There is a safe and a refrigerator.
The toilet is separated into wet and dry areas. There is a circle of mirrors in the toilet, which makes it convenient for me and my friend to move separately. While she washes, I can also put on makeup. There are hand soap/shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion.
Free water every day!! Super considerate.
The service is also very nice. There is a restaurant on the 0th floor. Those who push large luggage can enter from the side door of the restaurant. There are only steps at the hotel entrance.
There is a bus stop and a subway station next to the hotel, so the transportation is relatively convenient. You can walk to Retiro Park in the morning. You can also pass by two large supermarkets on the way.
GGuest UserAll very well!! The location is WONDERFUL! Ideal for exploring the center of Madrid on foot from one side to the other, a 10. The building is beautiful and everything is very clean. There is only one drawback, the bells of the monastery next door... they ring from 6 in the morning, every hour. If you have no problem going back to sleep, or it doesn't affect you, the superior rooms are wonderful, the views over the rooftops of Madrid... spectacular. If you are bothered by noise, it is better to choose one of the interior rooms. They also have windows, but they face the interior patio of the hotel, which has a glass window that separates the bar-rest area and makes these rooms very quiet. We stayed in a junior suite on the 5th floor one night, my husband was not bothered by the bells, but they kept me awake and for the next night we asked for a change. And in the interior room on the 2nd floor, although it was half the size of the other, we were very comfortable. No noise, very comfortable bed, shower with a lot of pressure, everything new, but preserving the charm of the old embassy. I would repeat without hesitation!
GGuest UserGreat location, very nice breakfast, there is also a Starbucks right outside the enterance which is nice. Literally a two minute walk to Gran Via street where you can find anything you could possibly need. The staff was polite, the rooms were clean and very quiet at least on the 5th floor :) Overall would recommend and come back again. Gracias Madrid!
SSean AnthonyA lovely hotel. Excellent rooms and breakfast very tasty and good calue. The room had good AC controlled by the reception desk. Only issue is looks overlook lobby and not an exterior window.
YYi YungA Trip.com search listed this hotel that was more affordable than others that met my search criteria in Madrid City. The location meant driving back to where I picked up the rental car, but was still within half an hour from Madrid city. The check in & out was efficient and pleasant. The availability of simple meal on premise F&B until midnight was convenient. The rooms were functional, tastefully decorated, quiet, odor free and clean. The beds were a good King size and comfortable even if the pillow a little meager. The underground gated car park with charging station was a BIG PLUS for the hybrid.
AAnonymous UserHotel service attitude is better, breakfast is more abundant, there is another big Cha Martin Hotel next to it, pay attention not to go wrong.
The hotel is old, there is a wasteland next to it, and it is not very comfortable to live.
