Hampton Inn Manning

Manning|2.61km from Harvin Clarendon County Library
The hotel is filthy. The lobby carpet and furniture are in disarray and disgusting. Although the staff in the evening were very friendly, they admitted that since they became “pet friendly” the hotel went down in quality (I had no idea from the Hilton app it was a pet friendly hotel, I have allergies and would never have stayed). People hanging out in the lobby looked like they were homeless, I was shocked that this was a Hilton property. My room was awful, bathroom and floors dirty, bathroom fixtures and vanity, sink, bathtub, shower curtain and tiles dirty and unserviceable. Breakfast was completely unsatisfactory. They were out of eggs and sausage so they had grits and potatoes in the hot plates, fruit was empty (when I asked the lady working breakfast said they had no fruit), the oatmeal lid was broken and the oatmeal was burned and stuck to the bottom. The whole area was filthy and you could tell by the staff they could have cared less, which I blame on management, not the staff. I tried for exactly a month to reach the General Manager to complain after she never returned my calls. When I called late morning they said she would be in at 11, I would call and they said she was out to lunch, when I called in late afternoons eh was “fine for the day!” Surprised this property is in the condition it is in. I’m not even going to use my 20+ years as a diamond/gold member to try and get something from them, I just want travelers to know you should just find another property…this is the worst Hampton, if not the worst hotel, of my 40 years of intensive traveling!!
