Best Hotels in Middleburg

Stayed here one night while in town on business. Hotel seems pretty new, furnishings are not ”worn” or tired looking. Staff is very helpful, and they all seem to genuinely enjoy working there. Stayed in a king bed suite and it was very large - full kitchen, sitting area, bed area and bathroom (with a door separating the toilet/shower area from the vanity). Room was clean and comfortable. They offer a basic breakfast each morning - more than enough to put something in your stomach before you head out for the day. On Wednesday evenings they also offer an evening reception which has a full meal (spaghetti and meatballs the night I was there) as well as complimentary cocktails (beer, wine). It was a really nice touch and well done - easily enough food put out for you to avoid having to go to eat somewhere for dinner. They have an outdoor seating area as well which I am sure is wonderful when the weather is warmer. I would definitely stay here again. (side note, if you need a restaurant nearby, LaPerla right next door is fantastic, but note that they only accept cash, regardless of what you might find otherwise on the internet).

The hotel is very close to the cave we went to, the room was very clean, we had a good rest. The breakfast variety is also good, and the price/performance ratio is super high. I will stay here again next time.

Trip to Visit our children Convenience of location is important to us. Nice people here. Clean and comfortable.

The service is very good, the room is clean, bright and spacious. There are outlets, Costco and other business districts nearby, but the breakfast is a bit simple.

This was an average what you would expect Hotel like a Hyatt Place, or Fairfield Inn. the King room was comfortable enough with a very good TV, microwave and Mini Fridge. The room had decent lighting and the King Bed was fairly comfortable, but the pillows were very soft. If you wanted housekeeping service, it had to be asked for. We did not utilize the indoor pool nor the hot tub and the exercise room was extremely small and cramped with some hand weights, medicine balls, an elliptical, treadmill, and stationary bike. Breakfast which was from six to ten was average with egg, a meat, sometimes potatoes or biscuits, two waffle makers, yogurt, cereal, fruit, mini muffins, breads for toasting. There was 24-hour coffee, and tea. Betsy checked us in, answered all the questions that we had and was very pleasant. Check in and checkout was quick and easy, and you could also check in digitally. the price was fine for our three night stay. even though signs were up for mandatory distancing and masking, that was not the case.

Stayed for 1-night and a wonderful stopover experience as usual with Best Western. Very warm and friendly welcome from the 2 ladies at the front desk. Seeing we have luggage they gave us a room on the ground floor as there was no lift, car boot to room. Hotel was spread widely but has great WiFi cover. Room was a 2 bedder but a little tight with a misplaced dining table and 2 chairs. Otherwise well furnished with a microwave, fridge, TV and very comfortable beds with choice of pillows. Very clean too. Breakfast is great with hot food in a spacious setting. Well worth the stay and value.

I feel comfortable to write a glaring review of this particular location, being that it's located around fierce competition of other hotel names, and yet a proper amount of honor goes into the ”customer service” portion, just to begin the process of a single visit or stay-over. I've been to many hotels in my job's traveling capacity and localization (when long bookings are necessary), enough to indicate that a positive consistency is maintained when one has to get through whatever arrangement calls for a place away from home. This site is well managed, within a very excitable surrounding of commerce, so that's no small task, though one very necessary ingredient towards easing visitor anxiety--an inarguable aspect of consumerism. A nice premium choice of television selections; sanitized rooms that address residual pandemic concerns (still very important), and faithful security measures are always maintained. The people that work at this Red Roof are commonly impressive of their tasks and person-ability; I'm sure we're living in a time when such a decency is underappreciated, though nonetheless a high demand, whether apt discrepancy cares or not. The great people are Pri, Ronneen, Maria, Jean, José, Kimberlee, and a host of dutiful housekeepers that say little, yet smile alot. It's a good experience. ___Russ Gladden

Our 2-queen bed room was okay, nothing special. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was great. Interestingly, when we tried the TV, it wouldn't turn on. I thought it might be the batteries in the remote. I called the front desk, and someone showed up in about 10 minutes. No, not the remote. He did something, i.e., put in some kind of code. Aren't hotel TV set supposed to be ”ready to go?” A recent review remarked about the lengthy check in process (with no one waiting). I experienced that too. Interesting? The breakfast room is huge and attractive. We sat at a table overlooking the pool. Breakfast, at best, was fair. The sausage patty was ice cold, in spite of it being in a metal container labeled ”hot.” The potatoes was not hot either. There were no pastries in the little pastry ”cabinet.” I had to ask about them. He brought out two kinds of mini muffins (okay) and, I think, donut holes (stale?), which were cold, probably just out of the refrigerator. Getting in and out of the hotel grounds was a challenge, i.e., not easily done, especially during high traffic times. And, yes, the hotel is convenient to GMU, only about 2 1/2 miles away.
