First time in Block Island and I had the best time thanks to The Inn at Old Harbor!! The staff was so accommodating, making me and my boyfriend feel right at home :) The location is one of the best things about this place as well. Next time we come to BI, we’re definitely staying at The Inn at Old Harbor!

Man alive, this was one for the anals. Ma saw something about orbs on a morning show, wanted to spend the day headlong in bushes. Took the Montauk ferry with my old folks and young son, anxious about how we'd spend our 8 hours until the return. Met Kai over ferry french toast. He was such a gent. Offered us a room for the day as a place to hang our hats. Then drove us there. Super charming spot, super accommodating host.

I recently stayed at this wonderful hotel on Block Island with my friend and our sons, and it was an unforgettable experience. The room was spacious, and the boys absolutely loved the bunk beds. The large windows offered stunning views of the ferries and ocean, making our mornings truly special. The hotel's location couldn't be better—so close to the Block Island Express from Orient Point, and just a short walk to shops and restaurants. The kids had a blast biking and hiking around the island, which added to the adventure of our trip. One of the highlights was the exceptional hospitality of the owner. They were incredibly friendly and ensured we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The room had a nice new refrigerator, clean soft towels, and soft sheets. It even came with a sweatshirt blanket from the Kai Kai sandal shop downstairs. The owner provided us with a sound machine when I told him my son likes to sleep with one. Their attentiveness truly made our visit memorable. If you're planning a trip to Block Island, I highly recommend this hotel for its great location, old world charm, and top-notch service!

This is one of those “you get what you pay for” experiences. Check-in (at the store) was fine. Our room was ready early. But the room was a hot mess. I will attempt to share pictures. We paid nearly $300 for the queen room with a view of the street. The fridge (although rusty) was a nice surprise and worked. That was really the only positive.

Very quaint old place that gets you right into the spirit of "island life" — owner and owner's father greeted us and spent time hanging out. Woman at front desk was gregarious and helpful. The IOH was just opening for the season so there were some dusty corners but we were fine with that. Very much worth the price of admission, and makes much of the rest of the island walkable!

I visit Block Island yearly, biking and hiking, and the Inn at Old Harbor is always my first choice and favorite place to stay. Convenient location right off the ferry, walking to shops and restaurants, good starting point for biking, and very friendly and accommodating staff.

Excellent service from the owner. He immediately greeted us and got us settled in. We had been on the last ferry before the hurricane was to hit and we were frazzled to say the least. But once we walked in to the Kai Kai shop all our worries melted away and we were in island mode. The room was clean and the view was spectacular!! Great place for a great price!

Staff is very accommodating. Perfect location in the middle of town. Walking distance to beaches, restaurants, shops, Churches, grocery store, etc. Rooms are very nice and comfortable. Some have private balconies. If not, the public balcony in the front and back of hotel have beautiful views and are relaxing to hangout on. You can see the sunrise from laying in bed! 3rd year in a row staying here, will be coming back!
