Sea Two Pool Villa Resort Pattaya

Sea Two Pool Villa Resort Pattaya

Nong Prue Pattaya|1.5km from Le Bistrot 89
We stayed for 3w 4d in a Deluxe pool villa in March for our first visit to Jomtien. A very nice resort consisting of approx 100 pool villas. Every villa has it's pool and garden area surrounded by a wall with gates offering total privacy. The villas are very nice with everything you would expect, 2 sinks, bath, toilet and outside (but under cover) shower with both rainfall shower head and handset. As well as the individual pools there is a main pool with a shallow children's section. A clubhouse and exercise room are located adjacent to the pool. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and never failed to give a cheerful wave as we walked around. We had breakfast included and also had two evening meals, all fine however we normally tended to eat in Jomtien in order to help other places survive. When on holiday we stay in villas, this was our 6th stay in a pool villa and it was one of the best villas or pool villas we have stayed at, it was also the cheapest pool villa we have stayed at. The reason for the low price was the location, a 40 minute walk to the beach through not nice areas however this was not as much of a problem as it would first appear. I downloaded the Bolt taxi app and the service was very good, normal wait was 2 to 5 minutes however between 5pm and 7pm it could be up to 30 minutes. Hotel to beach 50B (£1.25), to Walking Street 100B, all bars/restaurants have WiFi so easy to book a return taxi. When considering how much an equivalent pool villa (if you could find one) would cost in a better area the difference pays for more taxis than you could possibly use. Summary - Great pool villa and staff, location poor, use taxis which are very cheap and reliable. I have no hesitation in recommending the hotel and we hope to return in a couple of years.

Welcome Jomtien Beach Hotel

Jomtien Beach Pattaya|2.06km from Le Bistrot 89
We stayed at this hotel in February 2020. The tour operator settled us not in a hotel, but in a place. Who does not know this hotel has an extension on the street next to the main hotel..there are no balconies..there are wires outside the window. The tour operator assured us that she indicated her wishes for us to be moved to a hotel. Don’t see this where they pointed there and they will settle (In general, we didn’t want to settle in the place .. we persuaded the Thai at the reception for a very long time. He was very rude ... threw our passports. Pushed away the phones (they tried to explain the situation to him with an interpreter). After an hour of begging They took pity on us and put us in a hotel.. About the rooms... I paid extra $30 for a triple room. In fact, they put a folding bed in a double room. Beds are separate..comfortable mattress.Old TV that hissed and did not show anything.Sink leaked in the bathroom.Shower worked..there was hot water. The shower was never washed. We had cockroaches.Every day they changed bedding and towels for one person. one towel. There was a mini set of soap..shampoo..hats..The furniture is old and scratched. They put water in the glass (you can’t take out a fine) Wi-Fi catches only at the reception.Where mosquitoes devour you in a second.Breakfasts at the hotel are very poor bottom .. cucumbers .. tomatoes .. cabbage .. toasts .. with butter sausages .. and eggs is something that more or less could be eaten. And then the eggs were apparently fried at night. They were always cold and windy. There was also dry rice .. soup (for an amateur) pineapple and watermelon. There was no yogurt..cereals..milk. There was a dry powder and some kind of liquid like milk (tastes like water), some kind of pancakes and jam. You can eat of course ... but everything is very strange. I don't find fault. For vouchers they gave a lot for such an attitude .. and such a hotel. The most interesting thing is that the hotel is 18 floors and is empty. No Chinese! And since it was made for them, there are almost no Russians in it. And so you will constantly hear their hubbub (I would not recommend this hotel for Russians. And if you don’t care what to pay money for, then this is your choice!

The Sala Pattaya

The Sala Pataya hotel is just about perfect. The staff were great. Hotel and pool were wonderful, so why the two stars? We had made the booking in January for 3 nights in March. However last week, on arrival, but were told that there was a double booking on the third night. This was strange because for 2 days we were the only guests in the entire hotel. We were told that we could stay in another hotel nearby and in compensation the hotel would give us 500 TBT (approx. £12) as compensation of having to move. This seemed acceptable as we were assured that the new hotel was of a similar standard. Then the problems began. We were told that they could move us in the morning but that didn’t happen. We had to move in the afternoon, which caused us to cut short our planned scuba diving course. Then we found out that there was no breakfast in the other hotel. The staff did provide a ‘take away’ but that was minimal, not nearly as good as the breakfast at the Sala Pattaya. The biggest disappointment was the other hotel. Although it had a small pool (which we did not need) it was very much a budget place. Our room was dark. Two very small windows, approx. 30cm x 60 cm, one looking out to a wall 60cm away. The television was unwatchable, very pixelated, sound distorted. Wi-Fi was slow and kept dropping connection. The basin in the shower room had only a cold water supply. Shower was difficult to control, no shower gel/ shampoo. There was no safe deposit box. All in all, this was part of a holiday that we had saved for and looked forward to all year. If we had wanted a budget hotel then we would have booked one. Interestingly, it was impossible to find out the cost of the room and how this compared to the cost of a room at The Sala as there was no information on this hotel on the Internet. Also outside of the ‘hotel’, there was a sign saying “rooms for rent”. Not a usual indication that this is a regular hotel. Advice to other travellers is to be careful when making a booking at this hotel. Should this happen to you then do not pay and walk away – bearing in mind that this is difficult.

A good hotel to stop for a short time. Location is not the best if you come to the sea. But if there is a moped or are ready to move on a taxi/mototaxi, that is not a problem. Nearly there is 7-11, night market, several cafes I lived on 1 floor. The room is large, corresponding to the photo. The view from the window was not very on both sides (one side to the corridor, the other side to the fence). But the view was not important to me, that is not a problem. The main thing is very clean!

I went to Jomtien to find a Sauna with Spa and most say I where most surprise how quiet and nice the Sauna & Spa is at the Train Resort. If you want an amazing and truly thorough Sauna - book yours with Aye! A very lovely lady, she also knows exactly what she’s doing! I left so relaxed and satisfied. The rest of the staff also very sweet, and facilities are nice and relaxing.

The service is better, the cleanliness is good, the transportation is convenient, not far from Jomtien Beach.
Blue Garden Resort Pattaya

Nong Prue
The price is quite affordable, and the service staff is quite friendly. The location is very quiet and not too noisy. There is a swimming pool at the door, but the water quality of the swimming pool needs to be improved. Each room has a small balcony, which is nice to sit on and eat at night. The main thing is that the hotel is a little far away from the center, and there are motorcycle taxis or songthaews.
