FX Hotel Pattaya ★★★★
"Great value for money l, rooms were very big and the location was perfect for me. The pool looked nice but didn't use it. I would certainly stay again"
Edge Central Pattaya SKY Condo ★★★★★
EDGE Central PATTAYA SKY is an aparthotel in Pattaya, located just 700 meters from the beach, featuring stunning city views, free Wi-Fi, an indoor pool, a sauna, a hot tub, a thermal bath, a garden, and a shared lounge. The distance to U-Tapao Airport is 44 km.
Jomtien Thani Hotel ★★★★
"The hotel has been renovated with new furniture. The hotel is suitable for families with kids and not for honeymooners. It was so noisy during daytime due to kids playing in swimming pool and simultaneously at night time due to bars and night clubs around the hotel."
D Varee Jomtien Beach, Pattaya ★★★★★
"I recently stayed in an Executive Suite Ocean View room at D Varee Jomtien Hotel. The room was very spacious and offered a beautiful sea view. The hotel provides a wide range of amenities which made the stay comfortable and convenient. The room itself was a bit dated and there was a slight moldy smell when I first entered. Another downside was the prolonged waiting time for the elevators, especially during busy periods. On the positive side, the breakfast was excellent. There was a wide selection of food, catering to different tastes and everything was fresh and delicious. Overall, I enjoyed my stay thanks to the spacious room, great amenities and excellent breakfast. With some refurbishment and improvements to the elevator service, the experience would be even better."
Jomtien Hisotel ★★★
"The room was clean and the accommodation was close to the beach, making it convenient to get around. It's right next to Jomtien Beach with a 7-Eleven downstairs. There's also a rooftop pool with tables for relaxing."
Elongme Tycoon Holiday Hotel ★★★★
"The room is big and clean reception guy is really nice and friendly he can speak many languages extremely well and I will come again"
The Base Prime - Pattaya Beach ★★★★
"It's a condo, with buildings A and B. Personally, I prefer building B; it's less chaotic, not as crowded, and seems newer. However, I had to switch rooms because the air conditioning wasn't cold."
Bang Bang Pool Villa Pattaya ★★★
Prima Hotel Pattaya ★★★★
"I liked the hotel. It was clean and beautiful, with many Russian guests. Breakfast was probably an acquired taste. I missed having cheese, sausage, or ham, and the butter wasn't very good, but we didn't leave hungry. What I didn't like was that there were no sun loungers by the pool at all, only for those with direct pool access from their rooms; there was no space for guests from other buildings."

Payaa Hotel
"I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the wonderful service my family and I received during our stay at your hotel. We are extremely satisfied with the overall service, especially the Chinese-speaking front desk staff. During our trip, my mother unfortunately suffered a bone fracture. Thanks to the patient and professional help from your team, they actively assisted us in contacting the insurance company and airline to handle all follow-up procedures. Their support helped us resolve many difficult problems smoothly during this unexpected situation, and we truly appreciate their kindness and responsibility. In addition, the hotel breakfast was very delicious with a rich variety of choices, which greatly improved our staying experience. The only small suggestion is that there was a slight moldy odor in the room during our stay, which affected the indoor comfort a little. Overall, we are still very satisfied with this accommodation experience. Thank you again for the warm and thoughtful service. We will be happy to choose your hotel again in the future and recommend it to our friends."

And lucky for you guys! American tourists can visit Pattaya without a visa for up to 30 days with a valid passport and proof of onward travel.

Getting to and around Pattaya
Most American travelers visiting Pattaya prefer flying into Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) in Bangkok rather than U-Tapao Rayong Pattaya International Airport (UTP). BKK handles a significantly higher volume of international flights, including many from the U.S.. From BKK, Pattaya is about a 1.5-2 hour drive, making it an accessible option with frequent shuttle buses, taxis, and private transfers available.
On the other hand, UTP is much closer to Pattaya (about 19 miles), but it caters primarily to regional and domestic flights, making it less popular among American travelers unless you’re already in Southeast Asia.

Private Transfer: For a comfortable and hassle-free journey, you can book a private transfer through Trip.com, with prices starting at around $58.90.
Airport Bus: The Bell Travel Service offers an affordable and efficient bus ride from BKK to Pattaya. Buses depart from the airport every hour, and the trip takes about 2 hours. The ticket price is typically around 130-200 THB ($4-6).
Ride-Sharing Apps: For more flexibility, you can use ride-sharing apps like Grab and Bolt. Both apps are widely used in Thailand and allow you to book rides directly from the airport to Pattaya.
Car Rentals: For ultimate freedom, rent a car and get around Thai at your own pace. Cruise along scenic coastal roads and discover hidden gems off the beaten path. The lowest price of BKK Car Rental on Trip.com is from $23.83.
