墾丁大街に面しているため、夜市が好きな人には最適な立地ですし、墾丁小国と言う小学校前のバス停がすぐ近くにあり、バスで鵝鑾鼻方面も恆春方面も行けて立地は便利です。今回は利用していませんが、少し歩くとkenting police stationバス停からは高雄まで行くバスにも乗れるようです。
交通の便はかなり良いですが、年越しの時期に宿泊したため、深夜まで花火や爆竹の音、朝日を見に鵝鑾鼻方面に向かうバイクや車の音がうるさく、全く眠れませんでした(^_^;)
中華圏は旧正月がメインかと思っていたので、新暦の年越しもこんなに賑やかなのかと驚きました。
2週間ほど前に墾丁に行くことにしたため、既に空室のある宿が少なく、キャンセル待ちをしていましたが、台湾の人たちがたくさん訪れるリゾート地のため、他都市に比べてキャンセルも出ず、直前でも空いていたこちらに宿泊しましたが、閑散期の3倍〜5倍ぐらいの料金なのに予約時の画像とだいぶ印象の違うお部屋だったのは残念でした(^_^;)最後の1室だったようで、ホテルに着くと満室の看板が出ていました。
料金は高い上に眠れず、いろいろと自分の事前調査不足だったと反省しました(^_^;)
口コミで見ていて知ってはいましたが、バスタオルしか無いのは、やはり不便だったのと、スリッパと洗面所の石鹸などは無いので、ドラッグストアのようなところでハンドソープと使い捨てスリッパを購入しました。
民宿なのでエレベーターは無いため、大きい荷物がある場合は上層階だと少し大変だと思います。
宿のオーナーさんは英語でいろいろ教えてくれたり、荷物も預かってくれて親切でした。
