"When traveling with older children, two large beds are a must. The space is large enough, with a living room and sofas, so adults can take a break while children have space to play; when it is not too hot, you can also play in the pool in the yard. The front desk is very polite and caring to guests, and will answer any questions. In addition, the hotel has its own passage directly to the beach. If I have to talk about the shortcomings, it is that although the breakfast variety is rich, it does not quite suit our taste."

"An absolutely excellent hotel! The views, ambiance, facilities, and service are all top-notch. What truly stood out was the service. Even though the hotel was very busy, everything was incredibly well-organized, from reserving a dinner table at the restaurant to borrowing bicycles, helping us find a table at breakfast, and managing the pool and beach lounge areas, as well as the fitness and recreation center – everything was handled perfectly. The staff were all very friendly, warm, and thoughtful. Having stayed in hundreds of hotels worldwide, this was by far one of my most satisfying experiences. We booked for five nights and still felt it wasn't enough!"

"Grand Bay Resort Hotel – A Paradise for Families Grand Bay Resort Hotel is a wonderful choice for family trips. The rooms are spacious, with large twin beds that comfortably accommodate both adults and children. What truly sets this hotel apart is its incredible range of facilities designed for kids—and equally fun for adults who want to join in. The children’s play areas are extensive and imaginative. Highlights include a ball pit with slides, a track for ride-on toy cars, a sand play zone, and themed corners where kids can role-play as doctors, chefs, or shopkeepers. It feels like a paradise for children, and parents will find themselves tempted to join the fun too. Beyond the kids’ facilities, the hotel offers plenty of activities for all ages: swimming, billiards, ping pong, carrom, gaming areas, and even KTV for singing with friends or family. There’s also a gym and a cozy reading corner, making the resort feel like a complete entertainment hub. That said, there are a few areas for improvement. The rooms are not very soundproof, so noise from children playing or chatting outside can be heard clearly. The location also requires a 12–15 minute walk from the nearest bus stop, which can be inconvenient if you’re carrying luggage. It’s much easier for guests who drive or rent a car. Additionally, check-in is only available from 4:00 PM, meaning early arrivals may need to wait—though children can enjoy the play areas while waiting. Overall, Grand Bay Resort Hotel is a true haven for families, offering endless fun for kids and plenty of activities for adults. Despite minor inconveniences, the complete facilities and joyful atmosphere make it a memorable destination for a family getaway."

"Had no plans to stay in Hengchun, but it got dark and I didn’t want to drive back to Kaohsiung. At the very last minute, I booked this hostel. All the private rooms were full for the day, so I ended up in a 12-person shared capsule room — but it was very clean, and the other girls staying there were really considerate. Had a good night’s sleep. Thanks to the auntie in the kitchen for adding two extra boiled eggs for me. The warmth and hospitality in Taiwan truly make me want to come back again and again."

"The bed was nice and I slept well. The hot water will come out slowly, but the amount of water will be very large after it comes out. The bathtub is quite large and the water will be discharged very quickly. There is a self-service kitchen in the back which is also convenient. Car washes are also available in the detached accommodation area. The air conditioning is strong enough. Overall, it is very suitable for groups and families. Will visit again (Unfortunately, the 7-11 opposite has closed)"

Good location - very close to McDonald’s and Starbucks, and there’s a lot of smaller shops within walking distance. Room was very clean with comfortable bed.
