Unfortunately, a cloud obscured the sunrise view. The facilities were adequate, and it's a guesthouse situated within a villa complex. Its proximity to the sea is fantastic, and it's very conveniently located near Shenzhou Peninsula. The on-demand shuttle service was prompt, and the staff were very friendly. Overall, this is truly an ocean-view room that offers excellent value for money."

"The room isn't small, and you get a free ride on the mini-train. The hotel offers complimentary kids' and adult activities; I particularly enjoyed the beach texture painting. The travel photography service was also decent. Breakfast was okay too, and my kids loved the clown making balloon animals during breakfast. Honestly, the Westin had more family-friendly offerings than I expected, with both an outdoor and an indoor heated kids' pool. The hotel's Sichuan restaurant was genuinely delicious. I went with low expectations as it was empty, but I was pleasantly surprised. A set meal for two adults and one child, priced at just over 400, could easily feed four people and wasn't expensive compared to outside restaurants. The ingredients were fresh, and the seasoning was just right. The open kitchen, where you could watch the chefs cook, was also a nice touch, and the service was excellent. Our butler, Mile, provided incredibly thoughtful service, sending detailed activity and dining information, and even arranged welcome fruits and small cakes. All our requests were promptly addressed, and our overall stay was very pleasant. I'll definitely come back again!"

The room facilities were dated, which is a common problem for older hotels and somewhat forgivable. At the kids' lagoon pool, finding bath towels and bottled water was a challenge. The breakfast was a letdown, perhaps because I had recently stayed at a Regent (Renheng) property, highlighting a significant gap in quality! Breakfast started at 7 AM, and we arrived at 7:30 AM. There was only one staff member scanning room cards, no one to seat us, and we had to find a high chair for our baby ourselves. For a hotel in this price bracket, the service fell significantly short of expectations. By contrast, at similar hotels, staff are usually readily available. When I ordered a drink and a light snack at the main pool, to my surprise, it was delivered in disposable containers after a full 20-minute wait! I truly hope management takes these concerns seriously, as for a family-friendly resort, attention to detail truly makes all the difference. I hope the hotel continues to improve."
