The location is secluded on the hillside, but for those traveling with pets or seeking tranquility, this is a plus. A car is required."

"The hotel is located on the mountain between the four and five villages of Cinque Terre and is a relay station for local hikers. The hotel is a renovation of the original monastery dormitory. Although the facilities are old, they are very clean. Compared with the accommodation in the fishing village by the sea, it is very cost-effective and the dinner is also great."

"The location is truly beautiful, overlooking the sea. We had a wonderful time; we had breakfast and dinner at their restaurant and the food was delicious. Restaurant prices are a bit high, but that's typical of places in the Cinque Terre. The apartment needs a little maintenance but is cozy and, like all the others, has an outdoor space with a breathtaking view. Excellent location for visiting the Cinque Terre; full directions are available at reception. The only important thing to keep in mind: 200 steps to go down and then back up! This isn't for everyone... As for me, I even worked out during my vacation!"

"Well I will try to start with a positive, the view is breathtaking and it is very peaceful. At first the rooms look stunning but you quickly realise they are not practical. On arrival we were not told that there is a sister hotel with a spa, only found out at the end, we had to ask for our complimentary drink, no information at all, told the desk closes at 9.00 so key code entry. However the phone in the room was not connected, there was no emergency number and you are in the middle of nowhere. we had three coat hangers on a rail, loose toilet seat...these were rectified. The driveway is unfinished, breakfast is meagre with a cold coffee machine, the cheese and ham ran out quickly, it took the waitress to disappear to cut some more. The terrace outside could be great but for the duration of our stay the ashtrays were not emptied, no one every came out to see if we wanted a drink. The finaly straw was after a long day exploring we got back to the hotel and my husband asked for a glass of wine and we were told that they had no wine!!!! Arty farty with no substance."

"Nice and easy and simple to get here. The lady’s on reception are easy to work with and they tell you everything you need to know. The rooms are simple but fine only downsize the WiFi never worked. The food is simple but fine and we dined in the restaurant on one evening and it was good."

"Hotel is centrally located and offers a good breakfast. View is good but top floor room is like having a room in the attic with ceiling sliding down so it makes the room smaller."
