I have stayed at this property for 3 nights. I was meant to stay for 6 but I have decided to change plans. Overall I found my stay disappointing. Pre-arrival: good communication through WhatsApp and Booking.com On arrival: not a good experience - duplicate preauthorisation from my card for the 6 nights plus extra. The terminal did not produce a receipt and the receptionist insisted I have to put the card through again, although I have shown her an instant message received from the bank saying the transaction went through. At that point, I have been traveling for 18 hrs therefore I couldn’t spend more time arguing about it. I was reassured it was not a duplicate payment/preauthorisation and if any mistake, this will be sorted in the morning with “finance team”. Next day, I have tried to sort this with various reception staff to no avail. They simply denied there is an issue and refused to discuss the matter further. At one point, I was standing in front of the reception being ignored. I have contacted the bank in the UK and they sent me a confirmation that finally led them to cancel one of the duplicate payments. I have wasted an entire day of my holiday on this. Reception staff - with some exceptions- are very cold and distant, even arrogant. Very rare you see someone smile and make you feel welcome. No apology was offered to me for the mixup with the payment and the very unprofessional way this was dealt with. Staff enters the room way too much. Morning and evening service is expected, however “room service” knocked my door at 8-9pm every evening. If the door is not locked, they enter the room. I would advise to have the “do not disturb” sign on at all times, should you want some rest. Breakfast - not included. Even to use the coffee machine in the room, you have to pay for the capsules. It’s not about money, it just leaves a bad impression I think. The room - nice, good facilities, nice bed, shower and the beach view lovely from the large terrace. Panoramic view of Copacabana, as long as the room is on a higher floor. The pool/beach - haven’t used the pool but the beach is service is very good, friendly and helpful staff and comfortable sun beds. In conclusion, I won’t be returning. I have been to Rio many times and there are much better places to stay in various areas. Although Emiliano looks nice, they are a far cry from what I experienced in other hotels in terms of hospitality and adjusting to individual needs and expectations. I didn’t feel treated like a valued customer and I felt quite uncomfortable throughout my stay.

I was hosted with my daughter for a week of holiday. We love the location of the hotel and breakfast! We were very well received and we had all our needs taken into account for the occasion. We are also very pleased with the easy travel offered. The only sad part we've passed was that our stay ended ... was so good that for us a week was super fast! We only have to thank all the professionals who have taken care of us and helped us during our stay there; we will certainly return soon!

We had booked this hotel in Rio in order to change youth hostels throughout our stay and make us ”pleasure” (Road trip to Brazil)... And bah was RATED. Salt room, with traces of moisture on the walls, at the ceiling, in the shower ... When we lifted the bed cover, we had the surprise to notice that the top cover was only on half of the mattress and not big enough to cover all ... TV was not working properly, disturbed image, no sound, impossible to change channels. Cool swimming pool, not clean transat, sauna was out of service but no information and given the dirt of the surrounding common spaces anyway we had abandoned the idea to go there ... Breakfast room and waiting for a We have paid the whole of the booking and with the language barrier + booking channel difficult to find a arrangement for a gesture ... We are waiting for a return from Booking. I'm sure that's a good idea, but sincerely, you will be better off to pay you a youth hostel at €20 per night!

Long story short our original hotel cancelled on us 2 hours before check out so this was all our agent could find night before carnival !! We were expecting more as our cancelled hotel was luxury . So this hotel is clean but very old smells of cleaning products spray and beds very uncomfortable. Pillows and bedding poor quality. The highlight was Edien on reception hearing our story he was very helpful in advising us and arranging calls to new hotel which our agency agreed to transfer us . So maybe if you want basic 4 star great location cheap but our expectations were higher .

The location is great this residential is composed of the Real Palace Hotel you staying in the salsalite you will have to go to the hotel that is on the side to go to breakfast for us no problem. And speaking at breakfast he is well tired, many options: fruit, bread, cakes ...Another thing is the pool we were only the night quietly few people is a little small the space more as not full, perfect. The room we picked up a simple room but we liked, very good arrangement every day girls went there, the spacious bathroom the shower was without the side shower that made the water out above and wet the bathroom near the private nothing Then the TV was a little bad, and we were not looking at the image well, as we went to Curti Copacabana and the river we stayed on the site for the night. The reception at the entrance I thought we were well received during the days we stayed 4 days hosted most sympathetic staff at check-up was super fast I found the boy of the reception at that time of the mid-pathy. But I say that it was a good experience and I would host again on the site without any problem is two squares of the sea near everything.

Location: Very close walking distance to the metro station, Copacabana beach (Posto 8). Lots of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Very safe location. Breakfast: Delicious with a variety of options. Pool/rooftop patio: Very spacious and nice place to have a drink in the evenings. Rooms: The rooms are a bit outdated, but comfortable. Spotted a cockroach on the curtains on my last night. Wifi: Terrible in room 401. Had to sit at the edge of the bed to get a slow signal, but got better as I stood by the entrance door to the room.
