Qionghai Hotels with Rooftop Pools

"During the May Day holiday, I traveled around Qiongzhou Peninsula for a few days. On my birthday, I stayed in this newly opened French-style hotel. The hardware and software were pretty good overall. 👍🏻 Facilities: The overall style and color of the hotel are completely within my aesthetic range. The facilities are quite complete, including an outdoor swimming pool, a gym, a chess and card room, a restaurant, etc. For me, I like to eat Western food. The steak house is still under preparation. I like to play tennis, but there is no tennis court. It's a little regrettable. Hygiene: Very good. The waiter found that the bed sheet was slightly stained and immediately changed it. Full set of bedding Environment: The hotel is located on Boao Tinghai Road, close to the beautiful and clean sea. Service: Humanized service needs to be improved. We hope to provide guests with more sticky service. /PS: When checking out, I felt the professional, efficient and warm service of Xiaoxue at the front desk, which made up for some small regrets and disappointments of this stay. "There is nothing much within the hotel location. Need to take a short taxi ride to Jia Ji Zhen. Check in and out is very efficient. The room is huge and clean. However, the sound proofing is not very good. Can hear footsteps and sound middle of the night. Breakfast is good. As we are lazy to go out for dinner, the reception staff helped us to order food online. We would like to thank Mr Wang (王先生） for going the extra mile for helping us. The hotel may consider having vending machines i.e. drinks, snack and foods for the guest convenience. Overall, we had a good stay in the hotel. Keep up the excellent work."

"I had hesitated a bit about booking this hotel due to the mixed reviews, but the hotel is fine! Sure, it's somewhat showing its age and not a modern luxury 4-star hotel (but the reasonable room rates also reflect this, so it's fair). They have clearly maintained the hotel pretty well and the room was comfortable. Staff at reception was also very friendly and welcoming. My room had a spacious balcony (although the seaside balconies unfortunately don't get any sun during most of the day, which in winter seemed a pity) and the bathroom had both a shower and a bathtub, which was great. No fridge though, which I would have liked. While I was satisfied with the hotel, I hesitate a bit more about recommending Bo'ao as a place to stay. I wasn't impressed by the beach, which is a relatively narrow strip of sand, disfigured by people racing around on quads. There are some restaurants and cafés but not directly on the beach and mostly closed or empty in winter (I love the beaches where you can have a drink sitting on a beanbag on the beach, which they have on Hainan's south coast, but that kind of places can't be found here). I visited in winter though and the weather was on the cool side these days. It might all look a lot more cheerful in summer! In any case, different tourists like different things and if you'd like to visit Bo'ao, this hotel is a perfectly fine choice!"

"Guantang Holiday is my top choice when visiting Qionghai! The service is outstanding – so warm and attentive. Upon arrival at the lobby, the concierge immediately helped with our luggage, and check-in was seamless. So efficient! A special mention goes to Spring, who proactively contacted me to arrange a complimentary upgrade to a lake-view room. She meticulously outlined the operating hours for the hot spring pools and theme park, and even pre-arranged all the activities requiring reservations. Any questions I had were answered instantly. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the entire stay! 😄 The hotel's wristband key system is incredibly convenient. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Qionghai."

"Amy at the reservation center was very enthusiastic and introduced the activities during the May Day holiday. Fishing and shrimping, which my little friend really likes, was very fun. Informing in advance that we can take the transfer point bus for free at the transfer station avoided a lot of embarrassment. Especially Amy was very careful to remind us to pay attention to the weather and take good sun protection. It was a very considerate service. I will come to Boao next time."

"This stay was great! As soon as you enter the lobby, you will be instantly impressed by the exquisite and grand decoration. The room was clean and tidy, the layout was warm, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, which allowed me to have a good night's sleep. What surprised me most was the service of the staff, from the front desk to the cleaning staff, everyone was warm and friendly and responsive. "After returning from Boao, I went to Guantang to soak in the hot springs. The hotel is in a town and is easy to find on the roadside. There is a popular village called Beiren Village around it. The service attitude of the hotel front desk lady was good, and the room was upgraded. Every item was explained very clearly. The room was also very large and separated into three parts. The breakfast was also delicious 😋, and there was afternoon tea for free. The temperature of the hot spring was just right."

"We stayed in the hotel during the day. The hotel has complete entertainment facilities, which is very suitable for my love of sports. The swimming pool is very large. At night, we drove to the seaside to enjoy the sea breeze. It only took 10 minutes by car and there was a strong atmosphere of fireworks. It was a good experience. I recommend everyone to stay here!"

"We booked a hotel on short notice. Manager Bonnie contacted us in advance to confirm the arrival time and helped us coordinate the upgrade to a suite. Thank you. The hotel is very grand in design, with low floors and low density. The swimming pool is the largest we have ever stayed in. The shallowest point is 0.7 meters and it gradually gets deeper. We didn’t go to the deepest point, but both adults and children had a great time swimming there. The room is also very clean and spacious. The sofa can be pulled out to make a bed, but the spring mattress is too soft and uncomfortable, so I put it away. It is enough for the children to sleep even if it is not pulled out. There aren't many varieties of breakfast, no surprises, but it's enough to fill you up. The trip was tight on time, so we didn't take the shuttle bus to Dongyu Island. The golf driving range is said to be 50 yuan for half an hour. Takeout here is much more convenient than in Lingshui, with more choices and cheaper prices. However, the quality of the beach and sea water is not as good as in Lingshui. If the hotel can be equipped with a self-service laundry room and more clothes drying racks on the balcony, I will consider staying a few more days next time. The biggest trouble during my trip to Hainan was that my clothes could never dry."

"Lovely hotel with a very big (heated) pool. Walking distance to some bars and restaurants along the beach front. Go to the top floor for an awesome view and some acupuncture on your feet!"
