I’ll start with the good stuff. The staff are amazing and the service from them was outstanding. Both pools are well maintained and a reasonable temperature. Every drink was delicious and the ingredients in the food were fresh. They looked after my daughter very well and when I got sun burnt they got me some after sun flamigel. The wine list and cocktail list are good. Now for the bad stuff. The room (technically a suite and not cheap). We got given room 204 (the key was marked as T4). It was the furthest from the reception. Don’t expect a good sleep if you stay in this suite as there is a road that runs in front of the room and you will get woken by vehicles. There is a car park about 15/20 metres to one side of the room and a building site in the opposite direction and although no work was being done during our stay it didn’t make for a beautiful view. To get to the reception from our room it was quicker to walk outside the hotel and down the hill than to walk through the hotel. Inside the room, the air conditioning makes a lot of noise. The toilet seat was broken. The wooden blinds let the morning light in (which shined directly in my eyes). The rooms are not big. We ate at Trataro, Alati and Pergola Pool Restaurant. The best being the breakfast at Pergola Pool Restaurant as it came hot, quickly and was a good quality. I was not a fan of the food at Alati although it was creative. The food took a long time at Trataro and when served was not hot and I ordered the seafood pasta which came with bits of broken shell in so left most of it. The value for money at Alati and Trataro are not good so if you are thinking of eating I suggest heading out of the hotel to any of the local restaurants as the prices are far less. We asked the hotel to organise horse riding and it seems the day staff and the night staff don’t communicate as this was ignored by the day staff and only when I came back to see the original lady I asked did it get organised but because it had been ignored there was no availability for the local (nearest) place and I had to use a different company which cost an additional 50 euros (the cost of the taxi to and from). The taxi would only take cash which created an additional problem of finding cash (I would have expected the hotel to have paid this bill as they didn’t do as requested originally).

We visited mid September with Jet2. Overall an excellent holiday, although we discovered that it is a very busy island, especially the main towns of Fira and Oia inundated with cruise ship holidaymakers. We knew that Santorini was expensive (and it is!) so we treated ourselves for our 60th birthdays. What we loved about the hotel: Small (15 rooms) in a quiet location; beautifully decorated & appointed rooms; Excellent service from the staff; amazing views; the free bus service to the lovely beach (and great beach club) and to Fira; beautiful village within close walking distance (10-15 mins) with excellent restaurants What we were not so impressed with: Pool area lacked shade. We appreciate that it can be a very windy location, but on calmer days they should put up more sail type shades. We would witness people trying to hide from the sun under tables or against a wall. Also we didn’t like the music blaring non stop. It was not suitable for a chilled vibe atmosphere - ‘driving home for Christmas’ being one of the pop songs! Suspect the music was played to try and create some form of atmosphere - but the lack of sun cover and incessant music kept us away. We had booked a first floor (top) room but were ‘upgraded’ to a ground floor room. Whilst it benefited from a small patio area overlooking the car park, you could hear people walking in the room above. I would have preferred our original room. For a Fireworks Festival Dinner we were told that the dining room was fully booked and that we would have to sit outside. Absolutely fine by us as the dining room is pretty basic, lighting too bright and again lacked atmosphere. However when we arrived at our appointed time, all the outside tables had been taken and we were shown a table inside. Guests who had booked the restaurant area had obviously decided to sit outside . Not impressed, although the staff did hastily move a table outside for us.

Absolutely beautiful place & breath taking views!!! Staff & manager owner just marvelous - beautiful deco, excellent breakfast!!! Only downfall - we shouldn't have choose the split level room and a bit far from any other eateries. Sidewalks aren't user friendly. Should've stayed longer!!!!

Pure Magic. We came here for our honeymoon and stayed in the Deluxe Jacuzzi Suite for 4 nights and I am just speechless. The views from this room are unbelievable, blew my expectations out of the water. Enjoying our delicious breakfast with the insane view. The staff was so helpful and nice and, Chris, the manager went above any beyond to make sure our stay was perfect! We also hiked down to the water from the Heart of Santorini which and incredible hike to do if you like hiking. We were also able to hire message on our balcony which was so cool as well! Highly recommend!! It was really nice being away from Oia (25 mins) and Fira (10 mins), it was October and it was still super crazy busy over there. So felt super nice to be in our quite spot on the other end of the Island. Having the jacuzzi to go in after we get back every night was the best part. The view and the stars were incredible. We had the quad delivered to our hotel which was perfect as well for taking adventures everyday. Memory of a lift time. Just book it!!

Awesome hotel with four rooms. This is the best landlord we met in Greece. When we checked in at the hotel, there was a welcome drink. The landlord gave us recommendations for the itinerary very carefully, and various details. I also helped rent a car~ The hotel’s breakfast is very good. Homemade bread, cakes, juices and fruits are very rich. We stayed in the swimming pool room on the first floor. The swimming pool was circulating water and it was very clean. The day before we left, the landlord also put breakfast in the room in advance, which made us very touched~ Have the chance to come to Santorini again! ! ! ! !
