Great place! Excellent breakfast! Good service! The hotel is short walk from nakajima koen station, we selected this hotel so we can still see cherry blossoms and it was worth it. The hotel itself is a bit old but still very clean and in good condition. Breakfast includes different varieties of japanese and french pastries. Staffs are very accommodating and courteous. If you have the budget must try 21club wagyu steak.

Recently we were allowed to travel outside Aomori prefecture. We booked plane tickets and hotel 3 days in advance. Upon arrival we were immediately greeted by professional and friendly staff. Our temperatures were taken and all Covid precautions were maintained. Our room was spacious with a view of the mountains and a river. Bathroom was large with separate shower and bathtub. Robes and slippers were provided. Our stay included breakfast and it was delicious. Especially the made to order omelettes. Fresh fruit, vegetables, sweet breads and meats plus several Japanese traditional breakfast items were offered. Plastic gloves are given to use for the self serve items. Every morning we received a warm greeting and coffee from the manager. Everyone in the dining room and hotel made us feel welcomed. The hotel has a bus that shuttles every hour to the main Sapporo train station and shopping center. This was a great benefit of the hotel. We will go back and stay for the winter festival! We were on the 9th floor.

This may be the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in during my time in Japan; the design is modern, the buffet is wonderful (although a little pricy) and the view of Odori park was great. I especially enjoyed the bath, as it was separate from the toilet, which is rare for smaller hotel rooms in this country. The staff were very kind and understanding, as I had asked for my luggage to be held until 3 pm but I didn’t retrieve it till much later with no issue. I stayed in the standard queen room and got more than I expected. Would recommend heartily!

It is located in the centre of Sapporo City. 10 minutes walk North you will find JR Sapporo Station and 10 minutes South you will find the busy commercial district of Susukino. If you are travel from the airport, the airport Liner bus stop is right in front of the hotel but the journey will take more than 90 minutes as there are quite a few stops before arriving at the hotel. Room is clean and tidy. Be sure to book the breakfast if available. It costs 3300Yen if pay separately at the hotel but the breakfast at the Northern Terrace is one of the best buffet breakfast I have ever tasted.

The hotel reminded me of New York City's Empire State Building with the Art Deco motif. It's an old classic look which I found to be very appealing. Location wise it's less than 10 minutes on foot from Sapporo station. There are a number of tourist, shopping, nightlife and restaurant spots all within walking distance. The view from the room was spectacular and everything was very clean. The breakfast, especially the waffle station, was delicious and offered a wide variety of western and Asian dishes.

Location is good within susukino area, less than 3 mins walk to the susukino station. Plenty of entertainment, shopping and food options within walking distance. As an IHG Diamond member, i chose the free breakfast option upon check in. Unlike my previous IHG stays (Crowne Plaza Athens in Nov 2022 and Holiday Inn London Bloomsbury in Dec 2022) where the counter staff thanked me for being a Diamond member, this did not happen here. Perhaps it is not in their culture to do so, though overall the Japanese are polite. The breakfast has a decent spread of choices and the quality is fairly good. There is a live egg station where you have choices on the type of eggs. Room size is fairly small (normal by japanese standards) but clean and well equipped. We were given room 802 on the 8th floor which has a decent sized window overlooking the streets and carpark below.

We got scammed by a taxi driver, and the hotel staff tried to call the taxi company and wrote a letter to update us. Although it was unresolved, at least they tried. I stayed at Comfort Hotel Sapporo Susukino from March 5-14 2023. I stayed in a single room. I think the room was too small. I opened a suitcase and it left no space to walk around the room. The bathroom was good and clean. The toilet was fully automatic. There were a lot of buttons on the toilet. There was a butt cleaning button, seat heating button, and more. On the first floor, there was a lobby lounge and a breakfast room. The breakfast was always the same every day. It was scramble eggs and there were 1 other choice that changed every day like chicken in matined sauce. The area around the hotel. There was a subway station named Susukino since it was in a city. There was a Lawson and 7-11 nearby. I will recommend staying here but you should get a double room if you come in couples.

It's Sapporo in winter, the white snow is very beautiful, and it feels good to arrive at the snow festival! This room is very cost effective. Very convenient location, it takes about 3 minutes to walk to the city center. There are Odori Park, Tanukikoji, Parco, and underground shopping streets. There is a direct bus to the airport in just a few minutes' walk, which is very convenient. This hotel is almost entirely self-check-in, but there are also front desk staff to assist. If you arrive at the hotel early, you can store your luggage with card lock first, which is safe. The hotel provides disposable supplies that can be taken out by yourself, which is an unprecedented experience for me. If you check in without bringing anything at all, you can spend a tidy night. The facilities are new, clean and safe. You need a room card to go upstairs. The room is just the right size and you can open a large suitcase. There is a small round table and two stools for easy eating. The view from the room is to a nearby temple. It is a hotel worth recommending for a safe stay.

This newly opened hotel is perfectly located next to Susukino station on Level 7. The Airport Limousine Bus will drop you about 1 block back from the hotel. The rooms are fairly small yet functional, bigger rooms have the lesser view so pick a small room. You will be unable to access the hotel onsen/spa unless you book a premium room with no paid access allowed. This seems like an incredible shortsided mindset of the hotel especially if the onsen is empty. Why not offer paid entry to guests during quiet times? The hotel also participates in extensive greenwashing with a fake commitment to helping the environment. If you choose eco housekeeping, they will still throw away your toothbrush and replace with another. On top of this, they give you a QR code to redeem a free bottle of water of tea (unsure how this helps the environment?) Breakfast is okay but be sure to arrive before 9am as food is not replenished or replaced on the buffet. There are lots of service staff standing and running around but not much productivity of cleaning tables, removing plates etc. The local area has extensive “girl information” shop fronts so I probably wouldn’t recommend the area for families although it did feel safe.

Good size room, big beds, the shower and bathtub are separate, don't have to stand in the bathtub to shower. Friendly staff who understand my English. Took care of our luggage for a few hours after we checked out. Arigatou gozaimasu.

Great location and near train station and several shops and restaurants. Modern and nice hotel. Has a restaurant at the 2nd floor where check-in area is also located. Check in and check out were fast. Hotel staffs were generally friendly and accommodating. Left my jacket in the room and came back for it and got it. Downside: No daily cleaning of room but you can request for supplies like water and toiletries and new towels. We also requested for a late check-out but staff on duty was not very friendly and turned down my request even after explaining my side (we woke up late) and despite staying and paying for 5 days. It’s good someone who looks more senior staff heard me and allowed us to check-out 30 min later than usual check-out of 11am. Thank you The Knot Sapporo!
