We were deciding between The Westin Sendai Hotel and another hotel located right at the train station for the same price of SGD155 per night in Dec 2023 and I’m glad we went with The Westin Sendai. Firstly, their service is impeccable and truly living up to a luxury hotel’s standard. Secondly, their hotel’s view is impressive considering that it is the tallest building in Sendai. We walked to the Sendai's Pageant of Starlight and it was a very comfortable and cooling 15 min walk. 100% would recommend The Westin Sendai when you come to Sendai.

I chose it as a lodging for a relative (a woman in her 80s) who was coming to Sendai by herself from far away. The first condition was being close to a station. The breakfast buffet at this hotel is great, but it was helpful to have the option of having a relaxing Japanese meal. I was very satisfied with the room as it was great with a view of the Pacific Ocean. I would like to express my gratitude to the seniors in my life for providing me with such high-quality entertainment.

The hotel is in a great location, right near the Sendai JR Station, surrounded by business districts, large lofts, parcos, and it is also very convenient to take the loop bus to visit attractions. The room is just too small, and it is a bit difficult to unpack. The room at the Garden Hotel I stayed at the night before was super big, so I was a little disappointed. The facilities are a bit old, but after all, it is cheap, 500 a night, which is a good value for money!

The hotel is in a good location. It takes about 5-6 minutes to walk to Sendai Station. It's a pity that there is no convenience store downstairs. The lobby on the second floor is bright and has a variety of free products for guests to pick up (shaving powder, bath powder, lotion, lotion, elastic bands, facial mask, tea bags, coffee, etc.). I was disappointed that Wi-Fi was not available. I contacted the front desk and replied, ”if you can put the password,” but it was not possible to confirm in each room without taking over the family ３ people. A little bit, the bathroom toilet is small or the noise from outside the room is low and I could withstand it, but Wi-Fi is not always used in the same series of green hotels I was sorry that I only used Wi-Fi as usual. I would like to use it again if I improve it.

We stayed one night for trip to Tohoku. Hotel was brand new and SO CLEAN! Location: Literally 3 min walk from station. If you have luggae, it's tricky: come out on 2nd floor, going through connected bridge and use elevator at PARCO then ground level and hotel is next door. Great location walk to everywhere, has beautiful starbucks downstairs. Morning market is right behind the hotel; we were hoping that we could get some breakfast early in am. When we went at 8am, not many stores were open yet. We were able to get local strawberries for decent price and it was really good. Room: Got Relax Twin Room. Has electric massage chair in room with corner views. Views were not that great but room was very spacious, hollywood twins. Separate tub/shower and vanity was very nice, very nice decor. Coin Laundry: This hotel has coin laundry (all-in-one with dryer) and that's the reason why we stayed. We were able to see if Washer is in use or not with room TV which was GREAT. I felt we could have stayed other 2 nights (stayed at Metropolitan East due to its location) at Daiwa, it was very nice stay. Brand new, clean hotel in great location and great rates. I'd go back again next time next time!

Tourist from Hong Kong here. If you're an ”ofuro” person, you can't miss this hotel. The bathroom and bathtub is so big to hold 2 people comfortably (the tap of the bathtub can be rotated so no problem for 2 people face-to-face). Separate showering region and bathtub, which are separated from the toilet with a door. Shampoo and conditioner are in high quality, I can even feel the difference in softness and lightness of my hair before and after my vacation. The room might be a bit small but the bed is not. Not a good choice if you're a wide-space person. I think it definitely got everything you'll need. Everything is clean and tidy. Easy checkin and out. Staffs are nice and helpful as well. Got a convenient store on its ground floor (FamilyMart). 5minutes straight walk from Sendai Station. Great value for you money!

Located at the end of Ael at the west exit of Sendai Station, if you roll multiple large packages, it is easier to go down to the ground floor at Sendai Station instead of the pedestal deck and walk on the sidewalk of the station front street and dive the X bridge. Check-in payment is manned, and the elevator is a type that touches the room key to the sensor and presses the floor button. Although it is a single room, the room is large to some extent and there is no feeling of pressure, although it is small, there is a sofa and a desk by the window, the desk has a power outlet and a LAN port, and the pillow has a power outlet and a USB port. The TV on the wall and Wifi are both down and up, and I am grateful for disposable slippers. There is no large communal bath in the hotel, but the bathtub in the room is large. The breakfast venue is a general Japanese buffet at the restaurant on the first floor. There were other local dishes such as beef tan curry, sasakama, pork and miso Miyagi Imoni, and if you say your own, there are long eggplant pickles, triangular oil fried, zunda, etc. ... The other hotel I had booked had closed, so I had a room arranged as an alternative. I was surprised to find a higher grade room than the one I had originally reserved. When you enter through the door, there is a hallway, and the toilet, hand washing area, and bath are separate. There was also a door between the main room and the hallway, and an open closet was installed in front of it. I was surprised that the room also had a large washbasin. The furniture was simple but stylish. As soon as we entered the main room, I laughed at the child's remark, ``You can live in it!'', but... that's what the room was like. There was a large public bath on another floor, but the bath in the room was about the size and facilities of a small household, so this was sufficient. As for the amenity goods, each person had to pick up what they needed, but the drink selection was [jasmine tea, hojicha, and green tea]. I wonder if it's a strategy that they don't have regular tea or coffee in the lineup... Because of that, I gave it a 4 for the service only.

Hotel Keihan Sendai has just opened. I was able to stay at a low price with the combination of Jalan's special opening plan and GOTO. I visited by private car, but there is a parking lot (Hot House Aoba-dori Daiichi Parking) in the basement. 1500 yen per night. Directly connected by elevator. Convenient. The location is next to the 77 Bank head office along Aoba-dori. Check-in is done by yourself on the touch panel and payment is made at the check-in machine. In addition to cash, credit card payment is possible. The room is a single room on the 9th floor. I was able to see Aoba-dori from the window in the corner room. The equipment is also new. The temperature of the lighting and air conditioner can be adjusted in 0.5 degree increments with the tablet at the bedside. The TV is a 43-inch made by Panasonic. You can also see mirroring of smartphones and YouTube. The unit bath is reasonably large. There is a lounge and Starbucks coffee machine on the 2nd floor, which you can get for free. (The next time I stay, I will have breakfast.) When I go to Sendai, the number of hotels I want to use again has increased.

Traveling with my mom. Room was fairly decent size- love the available bath products and face care products at the lobby. The bathroom was also clean. Great view out the window. Staff were a little inexperienced with requests to ship luggage to another hotel however and forgot to give receipt. I also cannot read or write japanese but was asked to put the address down myself- at other hotels the concierge wrote the address for us.
