This was my first time in Shantou. I couldn't get a room at Hilton Garden Inn, so I booked the Golden Bay, where the airport shuttle stops. But as soon as I walked in, I was shocked and immediately switched to my backup choice, the Ruiran Hotel. (I had the Ruiran as a backup because its decor style is similar to Radisson Individuals.) I stayed for one night on October 27th, and the overall experience was great. The breakfast was even better than the Hilton properties in Chaozhou. So, I highly recommend this hidden gem to my fellow Trip.com travelers.

The address is super easy to find. The hotel is also very big. The sister at the front desk is also very nice. The room is large and clean without any odor. The dry and wet separation is very good. We were also given an upgraded room type. Luggage can also be stored. It is very close to Vientiane City and Longyan Road. There is also a snack street nearby.

Traveling to Chaoshan with a group of 7 this time. The hotel's location is very close to the food street, which makes the roads a bit challenging to navigate. There is parking available, but not a lot. We were lucky to find a spot every day. The hygiene is quite good, though the shower stall is semi-open, so water tends to splash out. (The photos aren't relevant, they're just pictures of Chaoshan food.)
