CHECK inn Taipei Main Station Branch

My friend's room had a musky and stale scent and on the last day we discovered that the bed had mould. Housekeeping standard is inconsistent. Some times towels were not replaced, hair in sink not cleared and beverage not replenish. On the brighter side, counter staff were friendly and ready to help with enquires and location is fairly ideal as it's near to a mrt station.

For a budget hotel, Check Inn offers decent value, but what truly stood out was the warm welcome we received from Sylvia. She greeted us with such genuine joy and hospitality, and even helped us with our luggage, a thoughtful touch that made us feel truly cared for right from the start. The room itself was small, as expected for a budget hotel, but it was clean and well-maintained. However, the walls were quite thin, we could hear neighbours flushing their toilets and taking showers, which was a bit disruptive at times. On the plus side, the location is very convenient. It's just a short walk from the train station and close to the Taiwan Museum, making it easy to explore the area.

Great location, very convenient to walk around, eat and drink. Close to the main train station. The hotel staff also very friendly.

Room is small but functional, location is very near NTU Hospital Exit 4, if Taipei Station quite abit of walk find Z4 exit with lift, else walk from outside ground level. Lots of food choices, convenience shops within the area.

The hotel location is convenience access to Ximending area, manay convenience stores are nearby. Opposite got taiwan authentical breakfast. Frontdesk receptionist is friendly and willing to assist. Will recommend.

I came to this hotel just end of Sep as my flight to HK was cancelled due to HK airport closure for the typhoon. The room was much bigger than this time and with a better layout, also it was only 60% of the cost of this time. This time the room is so small that it's difficult to find a space to open up the luggage. I was there to see concerts so I was only back for shower and sleep, didn't spend much time in the hotel. Location-wise it's convenient as it's near the Taipei Main Station so I could just take the 24hrs shuttle bus to the airport for my after midnight flight.

Nice location, near to the Taipei Main Station and MRT station. The room is dark and the layout is quite strange, but overall it is comfortable
