It would be nice to have a better indoor swimming pool for guests in need. For hotels outside the scenic area, there is no excessive price increase during holidays, and the service is also up to date. If you don't want to go to the scenic area to see the excitement, drive a few minutes to the old city, walk along the river or go to the park, it's very pleasant. When the weather is good, you can take pictures casually and get good photos.

There was karaoke at night until 10 pm outside but that is not the hotel’s fault. It wrapped up early so no concerns. I would recommend staying at this hotel.

Afternoon tea is also provided. However, the hotel has a long history and the corridor facilities are relatively old. Although it is old, it is still acceptable during holidays. We, a party of 8, visited 台山, our ancestral home, over the weekend. We booked 5 rooms at 丽怡, mostly because it is new and conveniently located in the town center. Overall, we had a pleasant stay at the hotel. Hotel staff were courteous. Rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. I would have given a higher rating if not for the following reasons: 1) We weren't able to get a non-smoking room per our preference. The hotel only has one floor dedicated as non-smoking. The hotel did some odor removal treatment and opened the windows before we checked in but I would still prefer to stay in a non-smoking room. 2) There is a low humming noise throughout the night till around 5:30 am. Not enough to wake you if you are tired and sound asleep but it will be difficult to sleep again once you woke up during the night. All 5 rooms can hear the humming noise. Don't know if it is because there is a steel fabrication shop next to the hotel or due to hotel's own aircon compressor.
