There are many positive things to say about this hotel, the space is huge for a Tokyo hotel, very clean, and the location is more than excellent. However, am extremely disappointed and displeased by the service that was provided by a female Caucasian staff member of the team. Of our 7 days of stay here, we have only tried to make a single request, which was to make a restaurant reservation on the 21/5 in Hokkaido as I could not read or speak Japanese so I require assistance from the team. She initially wanted to dismiss me as soon as possible until a Japanese colleague came to assist us. Provided us with a restaurant reservation form and we filled it. Thereafter, she said she cannot reserve for us because the date of reservation is after the date that we are staying at. Firstly, this is such a simple request and I only made it because I’m unable to do so myself due to the language barrier. Secondly, I was appalled by her laziness and attitude when conversing with us. I have never encountered such horrible service by a hotel concierge in my life before, many others would be glad and happy to assist with such a simple request.

Hotel is absolutely stunning and the rooms are big by Tokyo standards. It’s about a 7 minute walk to the JR and the famous Shibuya Scramble, and about 4 minutes from the nearest exit / entrance to the subway. Rooms are beautifully decorated and the in house restaurant has a beautiful outdoor area as well. A little bit on the pricey side but worth it if you want a bit of luxury while in Japan.

Great, well managed hotel in the Ebisu district of Tokyo. I was here for three nights before flying home. As mentioned turn right after you exit the JR train station and walk all the way down through the tunnel to the hotel. I really like the the outdoor mall at the Yebisu Garden Place with it’s unbelievable food court. This place should win an award for a urban outdoor development with book stores, coffee bars , high end restaurants, hotel and train station. If I’m traveling with my wife I would stay here. If I m traveling with my teenage kids I would stay at the Hyatt in Shinjuku as it is closer to the action. I loved the 17th floor executive lounge for afternoon snacks and drinks . But I preferred the lobby lounge for breakfast as it had a better selection of items. I would not however pay $130 extra for the lounge. The rooms were very nice . I was so impressed with how clean the rooms and lobby were maintained. This is a world class hotel in the upper price range.

Terrific newish hotel in the top 4 floors of an office building. About 320 t0 30 minute walk to Shibuya, Ginza or Harajuku or 2 minutes to the metro station. The metro is easy to use as instructions are in a lot of lanuages and you can pay with coins, notes or cards. We paid a little extra and were in a larger corner room with 180 degree views. Free generous minibar refilled each day. Staff were tops. There is a Japanese restaurant on the second floor which is independent of the notel. Excellent and fair prices. Breakfast was part of our package and it well above average. If you have bags or cant handle stairs ask the taxi to go into the basement from where you access the hotel with ease Tokyo is not cheap but I will certainly be back here

But my husband, ”Why do you like Grand Hyatt?” I wondered if it was the number one in Tokyo, the number one in Japan, the number one in the world, ”Well, so I don't think I'm satisfied wherever I stay.” (I like Mr. Aman too) The club lounge was overseas without passports because the customer base returned. Thank you for taking a lot of pictures of all the Bell staff. There is a dignified air in Ray, and everyone at the Grand Club, I swelled my stomach to the fullest in the club lounge (this time it was 20 years １ delicious). When did you lose money? Thank you for your wonderful memories. This time, I took a commemorative photo from Mr. S tudio S. Thank you for your wonderful professional work. It became a dreamy commemorative photo. I would give this hotel 2.75 stars if I could. Check-in process was super complicated. Their bed configurations on third party websites are all wrong. Manager was no where to be found when needed but would relay messages through the front desk. All of a sudden is ”gone for an hour” when I asked to speak. Rooms are just ok. We asked for the room to get vacuumed multiple times during our week stay because there was a glob of hair on the carpet. It just made me feel like the room wasn't cleaned thoroughly. Pros - free coffee downstairs, free amenities, washer (to ONLY wash), separate toilet from shower, right next to Shibuya scramble and several subways/JR line, right above Family Mart, walking distance. Cons - carpet, staff not accommodating, Hotels.com, Expedia bed configurations are all wrong. Beware and be careful of this! They will NOT accommodate you based on the 3rd party website details being incorrect.

Me and my boyfriend shared a superior single room at this hotel in June 2019, it was small (as you would expect from a Japanese hotel room) but with 2 big cases I was actually really pleasantly surprised with the space, neither of us felt suffocated. We were there during all the crazy construction, and we barely found it to be an issue at all. No noise, and little inconvenience. The hotel is surprisingly easy to find, and im terrible with instructions! The location is 100% the best part of this hotel. It was a piece of cake getting around Tokyo, easy access to Shinjuku/harajuku/akihabara, (odaiba is a little out the way, but not too difficult!). Lawson across the street, lots of restaurants, really close walking distance to Shibuya crossing and all its shops. Prior to arrival, I had my cases shipped from Tokyo disney resort to this hotel, and one of them was missing. The service regarding this was great, the check in desk rang up the delivery service for me (Yamato?) and figured out the situation. Within a an hour or two, I got a call to my room and they informed me that the luggage had been sent to the wrong area, but they were now delivering it to mets. What a relief! Do not worry about any language barriers, the staff are great. Another great thing about this hotel is the free smartphone they allow you to take out around the city with you! Having this was incredibly helpful for google maps etc. Cannot fault our stay at all, and I would stay again during my next trip.

We were looking for a close to the action hotel as this was our first time in Shibuya and did not know this part of Tokyo. The service from the Granbell team was accommodating. We had to do a room change, and they were understanding, as well as a late night bed refresh as we were surprised with a stain on the mattress/sheets. The front desk agent who helped with the bed refresh was so nice, and apologetic of the situation. The rooms are out-dated and could use some touchups(scratches on the floors/walls, dust on the fans, etc.). We stayed in the ”suite” top floor(1303) and it still needed some TLC. The rooms provided nice toiletries. We did not eat at the second floor restaurant(wagyu teppanyaki) or the first floor restaurant, but both looked fairly good even for foodies. Location is really great, close to scramble, other restaurants and shopping. The neighborhood is on the more quiet side of the crossing and Im glad we stayed over here(would recommend this neighborhood again). The super close yakatori's aren't great and may tell no to foreigners. I would recommend this hotel for solo travelers, stag/hen parties or young couples who are looking truly just for a place to crash after a long day sight seeing/going out.

Room was small but it’s expected in Tokyo hotels. Free toiletries, tea and coffee that can get in the lobby of the hotel. Breakfast was ok. No daily room cleaning but it can be requested but not suggested, cleaning will be on the 3rd day of the stay and it’s upon request. Location was excellent the subway was literally an elevator away from the hotel and very close to Shibuya crossing.

The sound insulation is poor, the toilet will automatically flush at 2 o'clock in the middle of the night, and I will be scared every day. There is no phone in the room to contact the service department or the front desk, which is very inconvenient. The curtains are not blackout, it will be very bright during the day. The washbasin is very small, and the water can be sprinkled all over the floor after washing your face When leaving the store, I need to store my luggage. After checking out the room card, I found out that the locker needs to be used when I live in it. When I asked the front desk, the first reaction was that I could not use it after checking out, which is outrageous. Later, I talked to the front desk and asked me to store it in their office after staying for four or five days.

Everything needed was in the room, my only disappointment was the pillows- one small cushion shaped pillow only. It is located at the end of dogenzaka and is a little far from the hustle and bustle of Shibuya, but there are many fashionable restaurants and quiet and good. Even if there is a request for cooperation with the mambo immediately after the cancellation of the preface, there is a drinker in the vicinity of Shibuya who is doing it to the morning, and it is not possible to become a convenience store rice even if the end of the work is slow. There are microwave ovens and washing machines (detergents) in the room, and there is a monthly condominium convenience. It is hard because it has to go to the completion when washing in the laundry though it moves around the country. BEWARE Not recommended for solo females OR couples with females! I chose this place because of the listed spa amenity. It says separate areas for men and women. FALSE that is a lie! There is 1 area only, and separate DAYS for men and women. Men get 5 days (weekdays), women get 2 days (weekends). I arrived Sunday night, and the lady took so long to check me in and finally got to explaining the spa at which point I said, wait, so I only have 20 minutes now to use the spa? She said ”Sorry, 15 min sorry” So I had to rush, while she was still talking to me about the ramen I don't care! So I got to use the spa for 10 min! So I booked another hotel, Super Hotel I stayed at before that I know has 2 separate areas and the spa is open ALL night until 9am. I asked Dormy to give me a refund because of the false advertising. Of course they say sorry no. I would not have stayed there if I had known this. Seeing that I was a single female booking they should have notified me. And what I really cannot tolerate is gender inequality. I know this is a more male dominate society, but that is old and backwards and I do not support that type of thinking. Please do not support this gender inequality! If you are a woman, this is NOT the hotel for you. Location is also weird and not much to walk to. Who cares about the Starbucks you can get that anywhere. I left first thing in the morning, I don't care if I lost money on it, I wasn't going to stay there a minute longer.

We were in Tokyo in September 2018 and we had a good experience in this hotel capsule. Firstly, Tokyo is a very expensive city, especially in the area of accommodation. The rooms are very small (as is the case in other expensive cities, such as London or Paris), and it is very common in such hotels that the common areas are also very small, The hotel is a modern and cosmopolitan city, but it is not rare that people who work in different services, such as capsule hotels, do not speak English. With the above considerations, I think this hotel is a very good option, if you get a good price ... It is well located, near Shibuya station (from there we walk with the baggage when arrived and left). The rooms are very comfortable and are very comfortable, with a good noise isolation, and have TV. The bathrooms and showers are very clean, and there are toilet, towels and bathrooms. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable.
