The five stars are for the boss lady and the waiter, they are very nice people. Advantages: Horseback riding is available in this area. Those who want to experience horseback riding on the plains can come here. The room is quite clean Meals are also great Disadvantages: The WIFI and signal are very poor because it is in a valley The dogs raised by people nearby are wild and may bite you. Transportation is inconvenient, so you must rent a car.

I have to start off by saying that we still had an amazing experience overall but I definitely have a few things to suggest from our experience. My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon namely because we were really looking for a hotel with a spa and Rio Serrano was one of the only larger hotels that had that experience in Torres del Paine. We were coming from Punta arenas so it was a pretty far drive, about four hours. When I booked through Expedia I initially got in contact with their reservation team because I wanted to ensure we could book the right room with the correct view, the spa treatments, and any excursions since I know things are in demand in that area. The representative was very helpful and nice and she answered all of my questions which was greatly appreciated since we were trying to book in Chile without being able to call etc. A few days before our arrival at the hotel I was charged for a few things on my card we had a couple confusion‘s because of the back-and-forth via email which they resolved for me quickly and were super helpful! However I was a little disappointed because I had clarified what room view we wanted via email and then when we arrived I found out that that room was never booked and we ended up looking at the back of the hotel which is in a beautiful area but it’s just a bummer to not get that beautiful view. I also had started the conversation by telling the reservation agent that it was for a honeymoon and not to expect too much but when you pay for an all inclusive package you kind of expect at least a like happy honeymoon or some thing in your room when you arrive as this is common experience I’ve had from other hotels far less expensive. Transport was also extremely pricey for all locations which I understand because it’s remote but our transport from Punta arenas to the hotel with the hotels transport was nearly US$400. Which was more than a plane ticket from Santiago all the way to Punta arenas. Like I said we also booked the all inclusive package which was great because we made sure to get our use out of it, but we felt that our room was not up to par for the cost of the package per night at nearly US$700. The room had no artwork on the walls the bathroom was subpar and just the quality of the room while clean, was just nothing extravagant for that price. A little more fluff would go a long way, especially for the rooms that have the most boring view in the hotel. They also have no TVs in the rooms which is not a huge deal since most people are not going there to watch TV, but when it’s rainy and there’s not really anything else to do other than go to the spa or pool it would be nice to have a TV in your room. We booked two excursions both the Base Torres and the glacier boat tour both were amazing and our tour guides were stellar for our hiking excursion. we have nothing but amazing things to say about that entire experience! Hotel Las Torres and their entire property is privately owned, yet inside Torres del Paine National Park. I chose the all-inclusive program, so started out with a shuttle transfer from Punta Arenas. About 45min south of Puerto Natales, we stop for lunch at Cerro Negro Ranch where we toured the family's historical home as well as the barn where sheep sheering and baling are performed. Great way to break up the 4.5-5hr drive to Las Torres. Just after checking in, we hit the Excursion desk to select activities for next two days. The first was guided hike up Cerro Paine to view the towers, and the second was a full day tour of the park all the way to Grey Glacier if opting for the boat ride. The all-inclusive dinner wasn't available in the dining hall, so we ate in the Pioneer Cafe at no charge. Not an issue for me, as I don't like to dine past 7pm, nor heavily at that meal anyway. Food was excellent there as well as the dining hall for breakfast. The view from Pioneer puts the massive mountain just south of the towers in full frontal aspect. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. No seating in-room, but didn't miss it. There are seating areas where coffee/tea is available self-serve all day in the room buildings. If you're not a hardcore trekker (opting for tents, cabins or hostel) and appreciate creature comforts, stay in this marvelous hotel while taking in the sights of this spectacular place!

We had a most excellent time here! One of the biggest highlights of our trip. We had such wonderful hosts that made us feel like family that we are looking for ways to return! The food was great, our lodging was so fun and unique, the property is beautifully and serenely set near the river while you stare out at the picturesque mountains… I could go on and on. Our lodging was unique and very fun. We stayed in one of the carriages and had ample space (we carried 3 bags and many jackets and had no issue). The room is not fancy but it serves it’s purpose. We had clean sheets, space to sit and hang out in the kitchenette, hot water that works well whenever needed and a lovely fireplace that is a charm. The bathroom is a narrow space but that was fine for us. We also loved arriving each day from our outings to our place. You can sit on the bench outside and look at the mountains or even go hang out at any of the common areas. The dining area was probably a major highlight for us. As in a home, it represents the heart and connection for their guests. I loved chatting over dinner and breakfast with folks from all around, connecting with Patrick, Karina and Cecilia about our adventures, have really lovely meals that nourished and filled, and feeling like you were part of a community. Highlights of our stay was building a fire for our room, the horses and pups that roam the area, the ease of getting to the park, etc. And of course the hosts, Patrick & Karina, make it where you never want to leave with their helpfulness, kindness and invaluable advice. They never make you feel like you’re an inconvenience. They also have a lovely team that equally holds their same values and culture of kindness. Finally, if you’re into fishing, Patrick is your expert. We had a lovely time fishing with him that is forever etched in my husband’s mind. His buds are desperately trying to figure out how to get down there as well after they saw his King Salmon photo. I could go on and on. It is a fantastic destination! I would happily stay here again and recommend to others.
