We loved our two-night stay! Wonderful hospitality from every one of the staff members and the other guests (from all over the world) were also friendly. Two nights is necessary to see all of the different tours, gardens, and fireworks (Saturday). The Versailles tours for the hotel guests were fantastic! One couple had arranged for a private tour with their photographer, so that is an option too. Our room was lovely, very comfy bed, and housekeeping does come in at least twice a day (they even secured our charging cords with a Airelles logo wrap). The buildings were completely refurbished, so every detail is well-designed (outlets, drawer room safe, hanging storage, etc.) and beautiful. Our excellent butler Nicolas contacted us a week before our arrival to finalize our itinerary - lots to do with the breakfast, morning tour, tea, evening tour. We were able to squeeze in a pool reservation - very nice (not entirely private, which was fine). The steam room and sauna were very nice. We did not use the gym, strangely there were no free weights. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of protein and pastries. The kitchen/waitstaff struggled a bit as the dining room filled, so try to go a bit early. We especially enjoyed the caesar salad and terrine on the snacking menu. In contrast, the feast dinner was disappointing. For dinner, it is best to enjoy a nearby restaurant or the a' la carte menu instead of "the feast". I look forward to staying at another Airelles property.
