In researching this hotel I was happy to read reviews that said you could accomplish all you wanted to with this amazing hotel by only staying one night as we only had one free night in our itinerary. But I could have stayed for days. Our stay was over the top in every way. Thank you to sweet Charlotte who took such good care of us. The suite we had and the hotel amenities were amazing they have truly thought of everything and then some! We had great fun with the golf carts around the gardens took a relaxing swim in the gorgeous pool and enjoyed the afternoon tea! The extra birthday cake to celebrate my husbands birthday was the best cake we ever had ! Breakfast in the morning was quite delicious in a beautiful dining room overlooking the gardens plus a glass of champagne! The tours were top-notch our guide was the same for both tours he was very passionate and informative he was a pleasure to listen to , the opportunity to visit all that we did with just our small group was so special. From valet service to bar service everyone seemed to anticipate your every need it was truly service I’ve never experienced before. Thank you I hope to return one day soon!

I recommend the palace and garden tour. The hall of mirrors was my favorite. The palace itself is beautiful and opulent. We loved our guide and she told us the history of the palace and its inhabitants. Walking through this piece of history was a real treat. The gardens were massive and very beautiful. I wish we would have spent the entire day here. We had other plans and were on my able to spend six hours touring and it was definitely not enough. I recommend renting a golf cart to see the gardens, and also taking the time to tour Marie Antoinette’s chateau. There is so much to see and marvel at. I highly recommend this tour. Do yourself a favor and stay all day! If I’m ever in Paris again, I will definitely go back.

We stayed two days and used the hotel, the restaurant, the spa, the bar and of course Versailles Castle. The airelles are known for their immersive experiences over France. Nevertheless this hotel is an incredible jump into the 18 century. Everything is perfect : the tableware, the silverware, the furnitures, even the candle light. Everybody is in 18 century clothes sewed with 18 century techniques. Service is brilliant, warm but unconspicuous which is a fine success. Visits of the castle are incredible with excellent guides and perfect service of drivers inside the castle' parlk. Spa is perfect and the pool... you have to swim there. Everyone is taking care of you. the cocktails and mocktails are incredible thanks to the barman. All waiters are active, gentle warm and discreet. Pierre the restaurant manager is incredibly sensitive as his whole team. It is impossible to thank everyone as they are too numerous but they desserve more than you gan give. The wine list is balanced with some fabulous bottles. Food is as excellent as you can expect from a ducasse restaurant with the addition of a 18 century touch which could only be even more appreciated in such an a**osphere. Well you understand me, go there if you want to see how was the "grand siècle" you will love it.

The time of your life! We enjoyed the royal stay package in the Suite Rose Bertin. The decor and furniture in this suite teleports you into 1700s France. Words cannot express the feeling of realising you spent the night within Versailles when you admire the sunrise from the multiple windows in your suite. The breakfast, Marie Antoinette afternoon tea and royal feast dinner by Alain Ducasse is a culinary delight in a setting and service that enables you to relax, unwind and savour every moment. Your personalised butler is genuinely focused on understanding you and your family, your needs and preferences, and doing everything possible to make your dreams come true. You will be spoilt for choice with the variety of inclusive and optional experiences on offer; our sons enjoyed horse riding in Versailles. Every staff member knows and understands you, and they always take the initiative to solve your problems directly and immediately (when staff at other hotels have to refer to their supervisors and you wait, wait, wait...). Staying here really feels like a dream come true!

A truly remarkable experience. Went in late November with my husband and a most impressionable 8 year old that is hard to impress. She had a custom facial and massage at the spa in the couples suit (with maman). Was greeted with presents and superb attention throughout our stay. Went horse back riding on the grounds of Versailles. She could not wait to return even before we left. Our fantastic and wonderful butler, Pauline, arranged for a stylist in our suite and seamlessly planned every detail big and small. An absolute treasure of a stay. A definite must-do with children, or as a couple. Will definitely be back soon! Merci.

Because of my love & passion for Marie Antionette & Versailles, I was in tears with excitement when I saw a video in YouTube of her night stay at La Grand Hotel. Two years later my husband & I checked in the hotel on my birthday for a 2 night stay! But my overwhelming joy turned into a nigh**are when I woke up early morning with horrible stomach pain. I was in the bathroom & crying all day on our only full day. I am a flight attendant & have experienced food poisoning, so I am cautious to avoid food poisoning by limiting the amount of & what I eat while traveling. I deliberately did not eat the night before we checked in & only ate a Ceaser Chicken salad at the hotel after we checked in & also enjoyed treats at tea time. We did not eat dinner but instead, took pictures of some of the Palace Grounds after our tour that evening. The next morning, while my husband was at breakfast, he learned from fellow guests, that at least 3 other guests were also sick. Later that day, our butler was aware other guests were sick & was kind to come by to ask me what I had eaten. Sadly, especially after investing $3000 a night, I ended up feeling like a lonely & dethroned Queen & my being so sick was dismissed by just receiving an apology for being sick with a “virus”. The positive is to compliment the employees who were so nice. And I hope to return one day & fill my sad heart with joy.

From reception to departure the service was impeccable. I was overwhelmed with the attention to every detail. Our Butler Eva made the visit perfect. The valet and housekeeping and everyday staff are to be commended. I would give 6 stars. The private tours of Versailles and golf carts to use in the gardens made our visit enjoyable. With a mobility issue Eva made arrangements as possible for a wheelchair and transport van pick up as close as possible. The drivers were gracious and attentive. Tour guides were excellent and to have private guided tours of Versailles such a pleasure and experience. The hall of mirrors alone is priceless. We were impressed with the bar and restaurant and tea was delightful on the terrace. You can have tea inside as requested. Breakfast in room was perfect and the presentation well done. There are macarons everywhere for snacking and daily aperitif’s presented on return from tours. Pauline made arrangement to bring the garden golf cart closer as the cobblestones were difficult to navigate with an injured ankle. Suffice it to say the Hotel exceeded all expectations at every level. The uniforms were period and history considered important. The rooms were exceptional and modern in all functions. It is a remarkable transformation and the only hotel on the grounds of Versailles. If you step outside you are on the palace grounds! Amazing.

We loved our two-night stay! Wonderful hospitality from every one of the staff members and the other guests (from all over the world) were also friendly. Two nights is necessary to see all of the different tours, gardens, and fireworks (Saturday). The Versailles tours for the hotel guests were fantastic! One couple had arranged for a private tour with their photographer, so that is an option too. Our room was lovely, very comfy bed, and housekeeping does come in at least twice a day (they even secured our charging cords with a Airelles logo wrap). The buildings were completely refurbished, so every detail is well-designed (outlets, drawer room safe, hanging storage, etc.) and beautiful. Our excellent butler Nicolas contacted us a week before our arrival to finalize our itinerary - lots to do with the breakfast, morning tour, tea, evening tour. We were able to squeeze in a pool reservation - very nice (not entirely private, which was fine). The steam room and sauna were very nice. We did not use the gym, strangely there were no free weights. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of protein and pastries. The kitchen/waitstaff struggled a bit as the dining room filled, so try to go a bit early. We especially enjoyed the caesar salad and terrine on the snacking menu. In contrast, the feast dinner was disappointing. For dinner, it is best to enjoy a nearby restaurant or the a' la carte menu instead of "the feast". I look forward to staying at another Airelles property.
