We stayed here during a tour of Germany and Switzerland. There is no dining. The greenhouse style dining area does not exist. Pros: comfortable bed, great location. Cons: Very noisy with both people and the train, semi dirty, spotty wifi, we booked two rooms and one had a broken tv, there was no one there to repair it.

My son and I were interrailling and stayed here at the start of our travels for 2 nights. The hotel has changed hands and is now a becozy self check in. The downstairs lounge has comfy sofas, somewhere to eat your own food and a microwave to heat your food in. It's funky, i like it.... there's no bar anymore and no restaurant but it feels relaxed and you can come and go. The rooms were warm at night but there was a fine and it did the trick. On the return leg of the interrail we booked again as we wanted to swim in the lake. There is a fantastic protected building (baden?) 100 years old that has recently been renovated and you can swim from there, showers, changing rooms, diving boards. At the moment it's free but a possible charge next year There's a market on Saturday in the town. The piped music in the hotel gives it a slight "tales of the unexpected" vibe but o really like it and I'd come again. It's weirdly cool.

This is a self check in hotel. Codes came via email and I had no trouble getting into hotel or my room. The room was clean and the water was hot. Bedding and towels were fine. My tip would be not to have a lake view room because the trains are very noisy on that side of the hotel. I think you can order breakfast from the nearby bakery but as I have family living locally I did not do this. As we are taking Swiss prices this is very good value.

I strongly suggest you avoid the Becozy Du Lac, which is a fully automated hotel with no staff. We booked for an overnight stay and also completed the online check in form. We were traveling in the area and were dependent on being able to sleep somewhere but alas, in spite of the booking having been confirmed, we never received a code to access the premises and our room. We were given a phone number but when I tried phoning, received an automated message that the number could only be used for SMS messages. So I wrote a message, but never received a response. Places like the Becozy Du Lac are a disgrace and shouldn't be permitted to exist. We ended up having to rent a room at the Panorama in Feusisberg, at 5 times the price.
