That was the second time I had stayed at this hotel purely due to its magnificence. I booked a deluxe room and it was perfectly furnished with wood that gave it a scent of retro style unlike many modern and hi-tech hotels. And the lobby of the hotel is another thing worth coming for, it is a pure pleasure and lustre, everything is made down to the smallest detail. The only thing that I was disappointed in was a lack of decent sauna and hammam. There was a sauna but it was tiny - just around 1 by 1 square meters and you had to turn it on and wait for it to warm up, and the hammam, which was just as tiny, didn't work at all. The swimming pool was normal, but there was no jacuzzi section (there was a small separate pool that was supposed to be with warm water, but in fact it was quite cool. Other than that, the breakfast food range was excellent (although not much Western food). I would definitely recommend this hotel for a one or two day stay.

We loved the look and location of the hotel and the views of here breathtaking, the only negative comment I have is that it did not have air con, have never been in a 5 star hotel without aircon and it was so hot during the night. Otherwise I can not stop praising this hotel and recommend it to anyone that want to be close to a good mall the subway and the park.

This time I stayed at Changguangxi Hotel for 4 nights. We stayed on the 30th night. During the National Day holiday, Changguangxi Hotel insisted on basically not increasing the price. My standard room price has more than 350 yuan with double breakfast. The hotel was decorated according to the standards of a four-star hotel more than 10 years ago. The hotel environment is very good, across the road is Changguangxi National Wetland Park, it is a quiet place during the holidays, it is worth a visit, we also used a ** group for a 218 lunch at Shuiyue Villa in the park, plus 2 58 yuan / drunk crab, This is the most delicious meal we have eaten in Wuxi for five days. But there was also a horrible thing in the hotel. We lived on the 5th floor. On the morning of the 1st, we got up and saw a cockroach that was more than 1 foot in the bathroom. After stepping on it, we would move. I don’t know if I had climbed people at night. It’s very scary. After coming down and telling the reception desk, we immediately changed the room on the 3rd floor. In the room, the duty manager explained that the hotel environment is located in the wetland park, there are more insects, just killed some time ago, the room on the 5th floor is usually not used,..., this experience is the previous hotel has never experienced, it makes a bad mood, the next 2 days live on the 3rd floor, I am worried that there will be cockroaches?

I asked the housekeeper and unexpectedly provided a set of tea sets. The shuttle bus is 24 hours, and the response is very fast even during the Qingming Festival. I took a rowing boat to check in, and the view is very good. The landscaping of the entire hotel park is also very good. Even if you don't go to the scenic spots, you can enjoy the spring very well. Although it is a bit far from the urban attractions, the transportation is very convenient and fast.

The warm spring days seem to be coming to an end. The cherry blossoms have bloomed, the peonies are in full bloom, and the yellow fragrant wood on Yuyuan Road is in season. Taking advantage of Xiao Wu's midterm exam, relying on the ”pet-friendly hotel” found on Xiaohongshu, I stumbled to ”Xuntang Town”. Xuntang Ancient Town began in 1931. It was originally an ”island in the middle of the lake”, and the hotel we stayed in was in the ancient town. The yellow fragrant wood poured down like a waterfall, falling all over with various ”arches”. The mottled white walls plus these elegant and delicate flowers, accompanied by the exquisite Taihu stones at the end of the road, seemed to travel back to the Republic of China and break into the secret realm. We lived in a four-person room. The housekeeper had a thoughtful pick-up service and delicious dessert porridge (I didn't drink a bite, and it was all swept away by the children). We brought our own watermelon 🍉, and the housekeeper kindly helped us cut it into small pieces and sent it to the room, and put the remaining half in the refrigerator for us. These details make people feel at home. In addition, there is a huge wetland park outside the ancient town. Unlike the crowded scenic spots in Hangzhou, the main feature here is the abundance of green plants and few tourists. Dogs can frolic, children can run, I can sit under a tree and daydream, and there are saxophone enthusiasts playing saxophone with a megaphone and no one complains. In general, it was a relaxing, pleasant and healing experience, and I will come again next time~

Breakfast is my very satisfied point: not a uniform buffet, but a seasonal set meal. This time I tasted handmade leeks, freshly baked plum dried vegetable biscuits, and a 4-hour soup. The ingredients are mostly from local farmers and I can eat it with my heart. Hotel design style: ancient and modern aesthetic space Step into the lobby, the log color and warm yellow lighting intertwined a warm atmosphere, the wall ink paintings, bookshelves on the ancient books, tea mat on the celadon tea set, everywhere revealed the ingenuity of Oriental aesthetics. The rooms are themed with ”Zen”, simple but detailed: rattan-edged lamps, handwritten calligraphy foil, plain linen bedding, people relax instantly. I love the tatami tea table by the window, soak in a pot of osmanthus oolong presented by the hotel, and watch the bamboo shadow swaying outside the window.

The housekeeper Luna helped me check in and upgrade the room for the second time. She was very warm and attentive. Although the overall facilities of the hotel are a bit old, the overall environment and management are very good. It is more suitable for family travel.

The hotel environment is also good. It is very close to Sunac Park, the breakfast is rich, the hotel's inner lake and greenery are very beautiful, and the whole holiday was very pleasant

I booked a room without windows, and the front desk took the initiative to upgrade me to a room with windows for free. The service is really warm! There are also free snacks and cola in the room, which is super considerate. In the morning, when I sit on the sofa in the lobby to rest, the lady will pour tea or bring mineral water, which is really a plus 😁 The nearby Xianyun Street Bafanghui Coast City is simply a paradise for foodies! A one-stop service for eating, drinking and having fun, great!
