We loved our stay - the upstairs room with a balcony was lovely and suitable for 3 persons. The amenities were clean and feels new - I like staying in old buildings but it’s great that the facilities inside is new.
The afternoon high tea was a very nice touch, especially the drinks and the dessert, and the breakfast provided was simple.
The best part about this hotel is the location, situated right above the Bi Shan Cave tunnel. It’s near key attractions like the 日光岩 peak (20 min walk), snacks street 小吃街, Trinity Church and walking distance from the pier.
Love it! Will come back again!

Really beautiful and comfortable room with good amenities. Very attentive service, and a good basic breakfast included in the price. Good value for money. Afternoon tea needs improvements.

The location is perfect as it is conveniently near eateries and major sights. Do opt for the rooms in the higher floor which offers a balcony, as I made a mistake of booking an airless room with a small window against a wall - not great for a claustrophobic! But the decor is great and of good quality, as is the service. They even helped me to purchase last minute ferry tickets during the Golden Week mad rush! (foreigners take a certain ferry route). And their so-called afternoon tea needs to be improved on -not at all what was shown in pictures. All we got was some very scrawny, very tired chicken wings and chic nuggets that even MacDonald’s would be ashamed of! Sorry guys, but you need to step up your game on the promotional afternoon tea!

The environment is quiet, the southern Fujian style, and the location is unique. Especially the accommodation room is very space-time and heavy. Due to time constraints, I stayed for one night and there is a tea bar. It is very comfortable. I look forward to my next trip.

It takes more than ten minutes to walk uphill from Neicuo'ao Pier to the hotel. It's all on cobblestone roads and it's not easy to carry suitcases. It was really hard to find, and the guy at the door didn't pick us up. After staying for one night, the bathroom was full of dust and dead spots. After leaving the next day, I had a small rash on my body and itched terribly. Not recommended

The design is retro and quiet, and the decoration materials are all solid wood. It can be seen that the owner has put a lot of thought into it.
The hotel also has a courtyard. It is really comfortable to sit and drink bubble tea. The courtyard is on the second floor, and you can see people walking back and forth in the alley downstairs.
