It is a nice hotel to stay if you want to visit the park, we were very satisfied with the rooms, but we’re not happy that in canteen was freezing cold. For breakfast or dinner we needed to wear winter jackets, it’s not very nice in 5 starts hotel 🤪 Swimming pool was also very cold, we wanted to swim but couldn’t. In the gym the temperature was 11 degrees 😅 I understand that it is winter, but don’t think it’s an excuse for the 5 stars hotel.

I stayed during the Christmas holidays 🎄 with my family (also got Christmas gifts 🎁 😃). This hotel is very near to the Wujiauyu ticket office (around 1km). The hotel staff is really helpful in giving tips for travel around scenic areas and few of them speak English well. I stayed with my family and they upgraded my room for free. 😃 You can also get a discount ticket from the hotel for the Charming Xiangxi show, which is just adjacent to the hotel. If you got tiered roaming in the scenic area you can also try foot massage. If I visit Zhangjiajie again, this hotel will be my first choice.

This was a really good experience for me. The room was spacious and had a sleek and calm look. The bathroom was great also, with the shower working well. I stayed at a more expensive hotel where the shower did not have hot running water which is important in winter, even in Hunan. The room heated well also thanks to the upright air conditioner, which I find usually work better than the wall ones. Also, the bedding was thick so it was easy to sleep well. Most importantly, the owner was soooo helpful in planning my trips at the Zhangjiajie grand canyon and the other park. He also helped me get a discount by buying the grand canyon ticket online. He really marked the maps for me and also sent me online version of the marked maps. He sent me videos of places to help me make a decision of where I wanted to go. The only thing is that I can speak a little mandarin so it was easy to communicate with him. Also, it was easy for me to go to the airport and catch my flight after hiking in Tianzi mountain area, because he suggested to leave my luggage at the hotel in the morning and then he sent a taxi with my bag to pick me up at the east gate. This was highly convenient. Thank you for making my day during my visit in Wulingyuan :)

Ctrip customer service called and said that the lady boss asked us to go back and pick up the mobile phone... The girl who went with the nerves left the mobile phone in the inn... . Students who live here can go to Xibu Street when they have time. It is quite fun there. There are more food, clear bars, and bars over there.
