I've stayed at this guesthouse twice now. The first time was with friends, and I liked it so much I brought my family back for a second stay. Compared to a standard hotel, the ambiance here is really unique, with a 'step-by-step, scene-by-scene' feel. I'd highly recommend bringing Hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) for photos; they'll turn out beautifully. The hotel service is excellent. Any requests communicated via WeChat were responded to very quickly. I'd definitely recommend this guesthouse to anyone visiting Huangshan or Huizhou.

Very close and convenient, there are supermarkets across the street

The B&B is a seven or eight minute walk from Hongcun. I stayed there for two consecutive nights and went in and out of Hongcun and Xidi Village twice, which was very convenient. The B&B also provides free tea and fruit. The service attitude of the lady at the front desk was very good. She also gave me special Huangshan sesame cakes before leaving. The experience was very good. Parking is also very good, and you don’t have to wait for traffic jams. It is very sunny at noon, so you can rest in the hotel and go to see the night view of Hongcun at four or five o'clock. It is also very convenient.

Located a 12-minute walk from Xiaoyao Creek Transfer Station, or less than a five-minute drive. Breakfast and dinner options nearby are very convenient. The Anhui restaurant across the street, recommended by the owner, has great food and is affordable. The room is spacious with plenty of hot water, perfect for families, featuring one large bed and one 1.5-meter single bed. The decor has an industrial style. It's a very cost-effective option for a family of three. The owner's pick-up and drop-off service was also warm and punctual. 'Climb Huangshan and no other mountain is worth seeing' – what a perfect end to the trip!

From New Year's Eve to the third day of the ***** New Year, I spent the most festive days at Shudetang. My first visit was on New Year's Day, and I had planned to return when the lotus flowers bloomed in Yongxing Lake again. But alas, my heart yearned to go back sooner than expected. From the 'Returning Heart,' 'Dream Stream,' and 'Willow Whispers' rooms, to the New Year's Eve dinner where guests from all corners gathered, to the 'Little Black Horse' activity, the master's handwritten 'Fu' characters, the meals and desserts at Ouyuan, the century-old ancient architecture and the iconic tree of Chengkan, to the Fucheng dumplings and the thoughtful send-off arrangements upon departure – everything highlighted the significance of my stay. On this side of Yongxing Lake, the waves ripple, unhurried and calm; On the other side of Shudetang, fish and dragons dance, thriving and enduring. If you're planning a trip to Chengkan, I highly recommend Shudetang.

There is a small hotel located halfway up the mountain in the scenic area. It is clean and tidy. I booked a room where I could see the stars. We arrived in the evening and ordered a pot of chicken soup in advance, with two vegetarian dishes and a bowl of noodles. The meal was very good for four people. The breakfast is also very rich, and there is yogurt, which is very good in the B&B. I got up at six in the morning and went to burn some morning incense. After coming back and having breakfast, we went to Yueshen Hall, Huacheng Temple, Baisui Palace and other places. There were too many people taking the cable car, so I decided to go down the mountain decisively. It was a complete success.

Hospitable service, very helpful in explaining the tour route and answering queries. Good location for non driving tourists as the attractions are close by, buses are also within walking distance. Room as per the official photos and they've kindly provided tea set. Front terrace is great for drinking coffee and watching the world pass by.

The experience of staying in this B&B is great! The room is spotless, and the decoration is simple and comfortable, which makes people feel very comfortable. All kinds of supplies are also well prepared, even disposable bath towels and towels are available, and the bedding is clean. There is a terrace on the roof, where you can see Lianhua Peak and Tiandu Peak, which is perfect! The most heartwarming thing is the boss and the boss's wife. They are very warm and thoughtful. Not only did they take the initiative to help us plan the tour route, but they also carefully reminded us of the precautions for grabbing Tiandu Peak tickets. Thanks to them, we successfully grabbed the tickets for Tiandu Peak. It is also very convenient to eat. There are many restaurants around, and the food is delicious and affordable. There is also a small supermarket downstairs of the B&B, where you can buy all the supplies needed for mountaineering, and the price is not expensive. The crutch shop also provides free use, which is really thoughtful!

Wonderful stay – perfect service! We had a great experience here. The family room was beautiful and very comfortable. We arrived late, but everything was perfectly arranged for our trip to the Huangshan mountains the next day. Truly excellent service and a great place to stay!

Overnight in Hongcun, half mountain and half water ✔ I booked this hotel while visiting Hongcun. I arrived at the scenic area at 6 PM. The hostess came with a cart to pick up my luggage. The entrance to the B&B is decorated in the Huizhou style. We booked a duplex on a last-minute basis; my friend prefers older buildings. We made do with it for one night. The highlight of this place is the terrace. From the top, you can enjoy the entire Hongcun nightscape. For the price, this hotel is quite good, and I'll also review it on the reviews page.
