A hidden, ancient courtyard tucked away in Tunxi Old Street, featuring a stargazing loft where you can gaze at the starry sky and bright moon directly from your bed. On the Mid-Autumn Festival, I was able to lie in bed and watch the moon without stepping outside—it was truly dreamlike. The common areas are incredibly spacious; my child spent time practicing calligraphy and playing the guzheng, completely captivated. It was wonderfully relaxing, washing away all the fatigue from yesterday's hike up Huangshan.

The room is not on a very high floor and faces the street, so it's not very quiet, the soundproofing is average, the cleaning truck or suitcase wheels passing by the door are very loud, and you can also hear the noise from the next room. I am very satisfied with the attitude of the ladies at the front desk downstairs, they are very considerate, the location is quite convenient, next to Tunxi Old Street and Liyang Old Street, the plant wall and fish tank in the lobby on the first floor are very beautiful, overall it is ok.

The room was clean and tidy, and the facilities were incredibly smart and advanced. The owner was a super nice and enthusiastic person who recommended delicious local food to us and even gave us a pot of tea. The surrounding environment was also very quiet. It's definitely highly recommended. Wishing the owner a prosperous business!

I had an outstanding stay at 0517 Hotel. The location is perfect—just a short distance from the Huangshan South Gate and surrounded by many delicious local restaurants. The owner speaks fluent English and even a bit of German, which made communication incredibly easy. Everyone there was super friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to meeting all my needs. A special highlight was the owner offering to drive me to the bus station in his own car. Truly above and beyond service. Highly recommended!

Pros: The location is undeniably great, and you can even feed the geese and own the entire lotus pond. There's a photographer, afternoon tea, welcome fruit, and butler service. Cons: If the hotel is fully booked, services are discounted. I contacted the hotel three days in advance to check in early because I had to leave for Shanghai the next morning, but it was completely booked. The photographer took 15 minutes to shoot, and the photos were indescribable. We agreed to send the photos that day and spend two days retouching them, but they weren't sent out that day. I remembered and asked the photographer the next day. I had hoped to wait for the butler to take me on a shopping trip, but after waiting for so long, I went there myself. I sat in the multi-purpose area and wanted to have afternoon tea, but no one was there. We were told there would be a folk music show around 8 PM, but we waited until 8:15 PM. The hotel's hairdryer was incredibly dirty, and I spent a long time cleaning it with tissues. The next day, I had to catch a train at Huangshan North Station at 6:30 AM, so I asked the butler to bring some bread with me. The bread they bought had a 120-day shelf life! Overall, the value for money was poor. Perhaps because of the celebrity factor, they weren't short of customers, so I opted out! Only the environment was perfect. 💯

Very nice homestay. Neat, clean, aesthetically pleasing and warm service. The temperature dropped when we arrived, so the boss turned on the indoor floor heating in advance, and the house was warm as soon as we entered. The room is not only clean and warm, but also has a Dyson hair dryer, horse oil toiletries, clean and dry bedding, and disposable bathtub covers. Every detail is very well thought out. A very spacious public space is reserved, with a different view at every step. It can be said that this place itself is an aesthetic space, where you can sit here drinking tea and daydreaming for an entire afternoon. It was raining and the temperature dropped, so the boss lit a charcoal stove. It was windy and rainy outside, but people sat around the stove drinking tea and chatting. The value of this was simply off the charts. The food and beverage is also great. The breakfast is rich and delicious, needless to say. We also asked the proprietress to arrange our lunch and dinner here. There are all kinds of specialties and seasonal dishes, which are clean and delicious. Very satisfied with the journey, perfect.

When traveling to Anhui for the first time, I did not choose the more famous Hongcun, but Chengkan, which has a niche reputation. The proprietress of this B&B is very enthusiastic, arranges pick-up and drop-off for guests, and is very patient no matter how late the guests arrive. The breakfast was hearty and delicious, and was given as a small gift when checking out. Beautiful Chengkan has mountains and rivers. Although there are no mountains or lakes, a quick walk in the ancient villages can calm your impetuous mind. If you are tired of the fast pace of big cities, why not stay here for a while and listen to the chirping of crickets and frogs at night... If you have been to Chengkan, you will never have troubles in your life.

The most satisfying thing about this trip is to choose this homestay! From the beginning of the reservation, the customer service is very patient, there are questions and answers, and all kinds of precautions are reminded in place. After arriving at the store, the environment of the homestay was amazing to me. The overall style is very distinctive, the public areas are warm and comfortable, and there are many green plants embellished, which makes people feel super good. The room was spotless, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and I slept very soundly at night. The location of the homestay is also great, there are many food and attractions around, and it is very convenient to travel. The boss and the housekeeper are super enthusiastic, just like family, and also helped recommend some niche punch-in places, and the experience was full. Next time I come here, I will definitely stay here! I suggest you choose a homestay and live in Pusu.

We used this as a base to get around different scenic areas. It was close to the west parking lot of Hongcun, where several buses can take you to different places, including the Huangshan Scenic Area. The hotel was tastefully decorated and most distinctively, it had a movie lounge and a tea appreciation area. Make use of the hotel's golf cart service to get to the west parking lot and back. There were afternoon snacks provided and they varied each day. The only downside was probably the lack of shops within a 200m radius.
