There's a common room upstairs where you can eat. They also offer a simple breakfast in the morning with coffee, juice, toast, and dinner rolls. The breakfast was really good, especially the dinner rolls. When toasted, the butter would ooze out – absolutely delicious! The famous Miyahara Eye Clinic is just a short walk away. Next time, if I need to, I'll ask them to help me get a lower bunk.

Location is great. About 4 Mins walk from train station. 2 Mins walk from bus station. Nearby 7-11 stores and many stores. Friendly staffs. Simple breakfast served but start from 8am only. Appreciated if they could serve the breakfast at 7am so as easy for travellers to have it before start of the day. Laundry and dryer machines are avaliable at a reasonable price. Bed is clean. Bathroom is clean too. Highly recommended. I have just book a double room for my next trip in May 2026.

Good location, around 6 minutes walk to Hualien train station. Big room and good price. No safe box in the room and front desk.

I stayed in the backpacker hostel on the second floor and have a few suggestions for the kitchen. There are two sinks but only one scourer, so if two people need to wash up, one has to wait. Also, I used to see dishcloths available for wiping down the counters and sinks, but now there are none. If there's oil or water on the surface, you can only use paper towels. And previously, there were plates, bowls, spoons, and chopsticks for serving food, but now you have to go down to the basement to get them. These are all very inexpensive items, and it's a shame they're no longer available in the kitchen.

Pros: The hotel is incredibly close to Kaohsiung Station, just a four or five-minute walk away. This is super convenient for anyone traveling without a car and relying primarily on public transport. The staff were friendly and helpful, always enthusiastic to assist with any issues. Their service definitely enhanced the overall experience. Cons: The soundproofing is really poor. You can hear almost everything happening on the entire floor, whether it's from nearby rooms or further down the hall. It seemed like the guests at this hotel were quite late-nighters; people were still moving around, showering, and using the restroom well past midnight. This would be a problem for light sleepers. Also, there are quite a few rooms on each floor, but only one elevator. During peak hours, you might have to wait a little while. Overall Impression: Overall, my rating is still on the positive side. If I'm ever in Kaohsiung alone again and prioritize convenient transportation, I would definitely consider staying here again. Hotel brief: The ground floor has the reception area and a few sofas for lounging; the second floor houses the restaurant and hot spring area; and all floors from the third upwards are guest rooms, with bathroom facilities on each floor.

Super near to train station but must know how to walk. Do not follow Google map as it will bring you the long route. Assessible to night market, lalaport mall, weekend flea market at train station. The neighbourhood have alot of foreigners. Breakfast is good but a little oily and salty.

The hotel is located right next to the MRT exit, super convenient. Taipei 101 is just on the opposite side. The room is surprisingly spacious and it has shampoo & body wash, hand soap. Other amenities needed to be self brought or purchased at the hotel.

Stayed on December 6th. The decor was beautiful and the bathtub was huge. The water temperature was also consistent, not fluctuating between hot and cold. My kids had a great time playing in the spacious tub. Breakfast was delicious and well-prepared. The only minor issue was some dust on the curtains!

The breakfast offers a good variety of food, but I suggest adding yogurt to make the meal even more comprehensive. Also, the parking lot should have more spaces to ensure that guests with reservations are guaranteed a spot, which would eliminate the hassle of finding parking. The hotel is very close to Hualien Train Station and the transfer station, making public transportation very convenient.

The hotel is not far from Zhongzheng Road in the city. The shape of the room is a bit irregular. You can feel the springs in the mattress. The windows are generally soundproof. The barking of dogs and the roar of motorcycles on the road are clearly audible. Those who need a quiet sleep should think twice.
