It was all good except that I find the room without windows not so my type. Furthermore, find it a bit crampy but I was able to enjoy my stay. Would be better if they can improve the food selection for their buffet breakfast.

This will be a positive review. I stated 8 or 10 other gv hotels before, but i have to give this one eight out of 10 which is excellent considering all the others were five or six. It is cleaner overall the staff seems to be more attentive and care it's a nice place finally good to see a manager doing a good job. Thank you.

This hotel is right next to Tacloban's Robinson's department store, so finding food is never an issue. The room was clean but small. There weren't amenities like toothbrushes, but there was body soap and a 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner dispenser mounted on the wall. Room cleaning started after 2:30 PM. The staff were all very friendly and pleasant, which was nice.

Easy check-in and out. Very good (central) location. The room was tidy, very clean, good beds, big cabinets, very good wifi; shower & bathroom very fine. Unlimited cold 6 hot water. Additional free breakfast (very fine). The value for money is perfect. Once I come back to Ormoc, I would book this hotel again. No regrets, no complaints, very friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel service is very good. Room is quite old but the staff are so helpful when the toilet happen to have an issue. The response is pretty fast. The only issue encountered was weak water flow in the shower, its difficult to rush out when bathing. There is no lift as well, not advisable for people who has hand carry but again hotel staff are nice and willing to help out.

TThat girl abroadUnfortunately, I wasn’t even able to stay at this place. I couldn’t get hold of anyone from the resort and ended up stuck in town at night without transport. I even tried their facebook page. Leyte is not the easiest place to get around, especially as a foreigner, and communication is really important. I strongly feel there should be a message from the resort before arrival to check in with guests and help arrange transport if needed. That small step would make a huge difference and prevent stressful situations. I traveled specifically to Leyte for whale shark watching. While I was on the tour, the guide mentioned that Kuting Reef actually offers whale shark excursions themselves. Knowing that beforehand would have saved me a lot of stress trying to organize separate transport to the activity. Better communication and clearer information about available excursions would really improve the guest experience. I am so bumped I missed out on the opportunity to experience this stay.

GGuest UserTravel with family. Have a luxurious surprise birthday party for your mother. It was quite fun. I am grateful that all the staff were able to cooperate. It became an unforgettable memory of my mother. All the staff are kind. This is a recommended hotel. The rice is also delicious. The scenery is very beautiful.

MMiss SigWe had to ask the front desk staff to transfer us to another room because the aircon unit wasn’t working. There’s a water dispenser at the 3rd floor. Breakfast is buffet; not much selection but it’s okay to get you by. No elevator as well. Location is great. 24 hours open Andok’s and supermarkets are near. ATM machines are everywhere. Must visit restaurants: Ocho; Prakaz bbq; Fahrenheit food Center. The hotel restaurant is a good place to dine too. Huge servings and tasty. Very friendly staff also. Full of cute and antique stuff in this hotel which are definitely collectors items; very interesting. Tip: if you’re a light sleeper, ask for a room not on the street side as the vehicles tend to be very noisy since the rooms are just until the 4th floor.

GGuest UserI had a great stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it. The location is fantastic—prime and easily accessible, making it very convenient for exploring the area. I had room service initiated even though I didn’t request it, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, always ready to assist with anything we needed. The room itself was okay—comfortable enough with a working AC that kept us cool. The washroom was fine, though nothing exceptional. The hotel’s aesthetic is beautiful, with a great vibe that really adds to the experience. The Filipino breakfast options were delicious, and I really enjoyed starting the day with a hearty meal. Overall, this hotel offers great value with its helpful staff, excellent location, and good amenities. I’d definitely stay again!

GGuest UserI am a guest for this hotel for 5 days, together with family and friends. We are frustrated with the hotel's parking area policy. According to staff, we are not permitted to park there as the spaces are reserved for customers. However, we have noticed different vehicles using the same spots throughout the day, which suggests no specific reservations are actually in place for individual spaces. We believe the use of parking area should be on a first-come, first-served basis since all guests pay the same rate for their stay. We would like to clarify – does the hotel have designated VIP parking spaces that are separate from general guest parking? Everyday I asked if I can use the parking area, still the same answer, it’s already reserved, but actually it’s vacant for hours.

GGuest UserVery basic breakfast No restaurant (only a basic set breakfast) Basthroom is small and full of mould Single beds are narrow and pillows are slaps of foam No bottled water (you are supposed to get purified wtaer from a dispenser in the corridor The corridor is very noisy (doors slamming) Two lifts but only 1 working (cost savings?) On the positive side: a very reliable and high speed internet. Overall, a very basic local hotel not really reflected in the name.

TTW2024We walked for about 5 minutes from the Calbayog bus station. Got room 410 having sea view. Room door, mirror and shower room door are made from good quality materials, not the regular types we see in other hotels of the same price range. There’s an elevator.Their highest floor is 4th floor. The aircon has heater mode. I used cool mode first and the whole floor was wet after a few minutes so I changed to dry mode and the floor became dry. The Reception lady who quickly checked us in is a nice pleasant lady. They can boil water in an electric kettle at the Reception for 10 Peso if you need to make your instant coffee. They provide basic toiletries but no drinking water. Good hot shower. Toilet flush works very well.
