Aksai Boroluanjing Film and Television Base Scenic Area

Boroluanjing Film and Television Base Scenic Area is located in Boroluanjing Town on the north slope of the Altun Mountains, also known as Aksai Oil Town due to the previous oil industry, and is also the old county seat of Aksai. According to records, "Boroluanjing" is a Mongolian homophonic, meaning "green and immature dun platform", and it is said that a Mongolian general named Bao Luo once stationed here, and Boroluanjing is also the homophonic of General Bao Luo. The main buildings here were built around 1980. Due to the relocation of the county seat in 1998, only a lonely and dilapidated old city remains. Films such as West Wind, Sky Lion, Ghost Blowing Lamp--Jingjue Ancient City, Old Soldiers of the Sea of Sand were shot here.
