A weekend in Dongguan ~ 东莞

📌 From Guangzhou, Dongguan is a quick 30min train away plus another 15mins metro to Dongcheng station (where I stayed). 📸 Moon Bay Plaza is small but has some cool photo opportunities like the rainbow stairs and some hippos in the ground! It's very pretty at night too. 🍽 In this area I tried a great place called Veggie box (meat also available). The meals are decent. Close by there are many coffee shops, including Ma coffee. They can take a long time to make the drinks but they taste good. I got a coconut lemon tea. 🍸 A 10mins walk from here can bring you to a hidden gem with great cocktails. The bartender will ask what flavour you like and then make something suitable. Upstairs also has a couple of mahjong tables you can play. During the day it's a cafe. #staycation #咖啡馆#staycation
