Jiaxu Pavilion- History at night 🌙

Situated in the middle of bustling Guiyang, on its own little island in the Nanming River, with a lush park on one bank and trendy bars and restaurants on the other, is a slice of Ming dynasty history. The Jiaxu Pavillion dates back to 1598 and it has been restored a number of times in the following dynasties. It is worth exploring during the day, however, as night approaches and the temperature drops the area becomes alive as both locals and tourists descend upon this attraction. The whole structure and the adjacent walkways are lit up beautifully and it is perfect for some holiday snapshots.
