「CHEZ Kusama」: Exquisite Japanese Cuisine, Astonishing Flavors.

Apart from the two of us, CHEZ Kusama was filled with Japanese customers. We ordered a 6270yen set & a 7370yen set, which allowed us to try a variety of dishes all at once - soup, appetizers, 2 main courses, and 2 desserts 🍧. There were multiple options for each category 🤗. The restaurant's service was incredibly attentive, and the attention to detail left a lasting, positive impression on me 🥹. From the amuse bouche to the dessert, although the plating of each dish wasn't fancy, the flavors were astonishing 😍. The Marseille fish soup was super fresh and sweet, each sip was the essence of fish, making us regret not ordering a bowl per person 🐟. For the appetizer, we chose the French tomato stewed tripe, which was tender and flavorful, and the portion was generous! I particularly appreciated the tomato sauce, which was seasoned just right, tangy and sweet, and had the fresh aroma of fruits and vegetables 🍅. There were as many as 11 options for the main course 😍. The duck confit had a crispy skin and the meat was tender and smooth! The braised pork tongue was a pleasant surprise, made with Shinshu-produced red drunken pork tongue, which was chewy and rich in meat flavor. It was somewhat like a German pork knuckle served with sauerkraut, reducing the gamey taste of the pork and balancing the richness 😎. There were 4 dessert options to choose from, and the pumpkin pudding was incredibly delicious 🎃. It melted in the mouth, and the pumpkin flavor was naturally rich! The other dessert with Shinshu-produced pears was sweet and refreshing, but not as impressive as the pumpkin pudding 😛
