Jerusalem's Western Wall

🌟The Wailing Wall, also known as the Western Wall and the Wall of Lamentation, is built with large stones that are 18 meters high and 50 meters long. It is the only remaining section of the protective wall of the Second Temple of the ancient Jewish state in the Old City of Jerusalem, Israel. The wall is divided into two parts with a barrier in the middle, separating men and women. 🌟For thousands of years, the Jewish people who have been scattered in various corners of the world return to the holy city of Jerusalem, and they will come to this stone wall to pray in a low voice and cry out the pain of exile, which is called the "Wailing Wall". 🌟Men entering the Wailing Wall must wear small hats, sit around a square table on a bench reciting scriptures, or stand solemnly facing the wall with a sheepskin bag wrapped around their hands in prayer. Most women bow their heads against the wall, sobbing softly in grief, and stuff written wishes into the cracks of the Wailing Wall, pouring out years of sorrow in their hearts. 🌟Countless people come to the Wailing Wall every year, especially during important holidays. When the wall's crevices are filled with too many notes, they are regularly cleaned out. However, according to Jewish tradition, the notes that are removed cannot be discarded at will and must be buried in a nearby cemetery.
