One city with simply everything

Jiayuguan is an amazing city with three China's highlights. In my opinion you shouldn't skip it. First of all, there is the Jiayuguan fort. Built in 1372 it was the most west fort of the Imperial China. If you need to buy the tickets in the ticket office don't go there after 17.30 (at least in March). In Jiayuguan there is also the overhanding wall. Made of adobe, it has an amazing views of the desert from the top. Finally you also can see the first watchtower of the Great Wall near of a beautiful gorge in the desert. For going to the spots I recommend to take a taxi. It is not expensive and you can easily use DiDi to get one. There are also more beautiful spots in Jiayuguan but we went to these three and we enjoyed a lot!
