Qingmuchuan Ancient Town in Hanzhong, Shaanxi, where the rooster crows in three provinces, is the filming location of 'A Generation of Heroes'

Qingmuchuan Ancient Town is a small town in Ningqiang County, Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province, located at the junction of Shaanxi, Gansu, and Sichuan. It is connected to Qingchuan County, Sichuan Province to the west, and borders Wudu District and Kang County, Longnan City, Gansu Province to the north. It is known as 'one foot stepping on three provinces', and is the westernmost town in Shaanxi, 108 kilometers away from the county seat and 197 kilometers away from Hanzhong City. The ancient streets and lanes are well preserved, with famous attractions such as Wei's Manor, Old Smokehouse, Old Brothel, Old School, etc. Huilongchang Old Street is arranged along the river, bending with the river, and is more than 860 meters long. The architectural style of the ancient street is intact, and the layout still retains its original form. Jinxi River passes through the town, the river bed is winding, like a jade belt winding, setting off the simple buildings, green bricks and black tiles, sparkling water, a harmonious and beautiful scene. Huilong Pavilion is a viewing platform built locally, located in the middle of the mountain, where you can overlook the style of the ancient town. The stairs are not long, if you have enough strength, you can go up in about ten minutes. Standing on the viewing platform, the entire ancient town is in full view. Wei's Mansion is two courtyards of Wei Futang, which are well preserved. The exterior looks like a Siheyuan in Beijing, and it is now the most famous building in the town. The layout of the front porch and the back building, the exquisite window lattices and door lintels, all reveal the style of a generation of heroes. The TV series 'A Generation of Heroes' is adapted from the novel 'Qingmuchuan' by Shaanxi writer Ye Guangcun. The character He Futang, who returned from studying abroad in the play, was vividly portrayed by Sun Honglei, who has squinty eyes and a mischievous smile, leaving a deep impression on everyone.
